BRANDON FLOWERS IN CONCERT:

Whether he's fronting The Killers or getting fans dancing with his synthpop-heavy solo work, Brandon Flowers is a consummate showman renowned for his powerful voice and flawless performances. Even though he packs the arena with tons of glitz, glam, and stunning visual effects, Flowers still forms a sincere connection with his fans on standouts like “Can’t Deny My Love” and “Crossfire” before indulging them with his countless hits from The Killers' catalog. Ticket buyers can’t help but swoon to his confident stage presence as he smoothly navigates the unique twists and turns of his dynamic setlist. With his album The Desired Effect still burning up the charts, Brandon Flowers is touring to bring his dance-worthy live show to cities across North America in 2015.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

The youngest of six children, Brandon Flowers was born in Henderson, NV in 1981. After moving to Las Vegas he answered an ad posted by guitarist Dave Keuning in 2001, and they formed The Killers soon after. The group's 2004 debut Hot Fuss spawned a string of massive hits including “All These Things That I’ve Done”, “Smile Like You Mean It”, and “Mr. Brightside”, and was eventually named one of the "100 Greatest Debut Albums of All Time" by Rolling Stone. International success and critical acclaim followed the band in the ensuing decade with hit albums like Sam’s Town (2006) and Day & Age (2008). Flowers made his solo debut in 2010 with the album Flamingo, which premiered at no. 1 on the UK Albums Chart behind the success of powerhouse single “Crossfire”.  Flamingo proved that Flowers had more than enough material to spread between projects, especially when The Killers returned in 2012 with the hit album Battle Born. His sophomore solo effort The Desired Effect arrived in 2015, once again reaching the top spot in the UK. Brandon Flowers’ live shows continue to reach new heights of sophistication and sheen, even as he maintains an intimate connection with his fans thanks to his passionate and powerful songs.

  • Flowers left me "On the Floor", wanting more!!!!

by ELF9 on 11/29/10House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

The show was superb. Brandon Flowers' voice is unmatched, the fact that he was singing a lot of songs in a higher range than normal was impressive. Loved the throwback, "Betty Davis Eyes", quite fun. His effort was never ending and he balanced the pace quite cleverly. My only complaint was that he did not perform an encore. I tend to like closure and a little "Goodnight , Travel Well", would have been mezmorizing. I still loved every minute of the show and wished I was seeing him the next night. I was bummed that the venue wasn't sold out and I think he was too. I hope Philly gave him the presence and enthusiasm he so deserves. Well done indeed Flowers-amazing.

  • Brandon Flowers never disappoints!!!

Brandon Flowers was awesome!!! He is so talented and keeps on getting better with each new album. Brandon Flowers and his band rocked House of Blues in Atlantic City. I would definitely love for him to come back and play there again.

  • Brandon Flowers was incredible!

My husband and I drove from Pittsburgh for the opportunity to see him in Atlantic City, and we're so happy that we did. Brandon is even better live than on his CD! I so wish he would come closer to Pittsburgh; we'd see him (and take our 4 children) in a heartbeat!

  • Brandon was great

by Davebags on 11/29/10House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

After seeing Brandon front for The Killers many times, this was our first time seeking him solo. He was great, but it was a different Brandon than the one that performs with The Killers. We are going to him again this Thursday in NYC.

  • Brandon Flowers rocked the house

  • Brandon Flowers is a hottie!!!

by JTru on 11/29/10House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Brandon Flowers is a hottie!!! The music was undeniably catchy and Brandon does not stray from his traditional synthpop sounds which can be heard in his works w/ his band The Killers. Spin also listed him as one of "The 25 Best Fall Tours"/"Must-See Fall Tours". So rock on Brandon <3

The venue ruined the show. The band with Mr. Flowers was ok and Mr. Flowers gave a good performance for such a small crowd. The sound system gave too much feedback and the show could not be enjoyed as much as it could. I think Mr. Flowers is worth the price of admission, but not at the house of blues.

  • Brandon Flowers -- beyond amazing!

by biric on 11/28/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I am a hardcore Killers fan so I decided to give the B. Flowers concert a chance. Best. Decision. Ever. He performed with such energy and his voice is so haunting and smooth, even when he was screaming the lyrics. I think this is an essential concert for any fan of The Killers but other curious concertgoers will also be well entertained. The sold-out venue was perfect, the crowd loved him, and he loved us right back. Then, just when you thought you had already gotten much more than your money's worth, he did the unthinkable -- he did The Killers. Brandon belted out two fan favorites in his encore performance and finally brought the crowd to their knees. This is highly recommended for anyone with a soul for damn good music.

  • Great and intimate event

It says it all in the title. Great nshow . House of Blues is a great venue. The crowd was diverse and an overall wonderful performance. Transfer was an interesting opening act.

  • Brandon Flowers: Now comfortable on stage

    by SusieQ84 on 11/26/10Liberty Hall - LawrenceRating: 5 out of 5

Voice was in fine form, didn't miss a note. Very comfortable on stage - haven't seen him this way before Really good to see that Played mainly from Flamingo (which was great) Included a couple of surprises Wished for "Romeo and Juliet" from Sawdust but didn't get it Nice small venue and awesome crowd in Lawrence, KS

  • BF rocked First Avenue

by foreverBrandon on 11/26/10First Avenue - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome concert. Brandon was just as hot in person as he was on stage!

  • Brandon Flowers with Fran Healy was awesome!

by nevergel on 11/25/10Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

I was looking forward to this concert for quite awhile. Brandon did not disappoint. Lots of great new stuff plus he played some of the Killers hits. Also he threw in a hit from the 80's by Kim Carnes - Betty Davis Eyes. That took me back. All in all it was an incredible experience. I would highly recommend catching this show before its over.

  • Brandon Flowers--AMAZING!

    by Steph5885 on 11/25/10First Avenue - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The only down side is that listening to the CDs will never be as good. Brandon Flowers has an incredible voice, and I couldn't believe his energy on stage! I hope I get to see him again someday!

  • Fran/Brandon are the perfect combination!

by CareyT on 11/25/10Liberty Hall - LawrenceRating: 5 out of 5

We had such a great time, so did our kids. My husband was going to see Brandon Flowers and I was going to see Fran Healy!! We loved both shows, and really appreciate that Fran Healy stays and meets his fans. I have been a long time TRAVIS fan so this was great for me.

  • by Anonymous on 11/24/10First Avenue - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was very good. Also enjoyed Fran Healy, just wasn't impressed with the group of ladies beside me, they were being obnoxious and bothering everyone around us. But the show itself was great. Fran and Brandon did a very nice job.

  • Brandon Flowers great even for an old mom like me!

by MotherofNick on 11/24/10First Avenue - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

My almost 18 year old son is a fan of Brandons so he talked me into taking him to concert. Was nervous about the venue and what kind of music I would be forced to listen too. Turned out First Avenue was a great venue and Brandon Flowers was really easy to listen too and enjoy. Brandon was kind enough, after standing outside for 45 minutes AFTER the concert to allow about 15 die hard fans to come to the bus for autographs and pictures. It was a highlight for my son. Thank you Brandon for a great concert and the kindness shown to your fans.

  • Mr. Flowers

    by JackieGeronimo9 on 11/24/10Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

I absolutely LOVED the Brandon Flowers concert. Would it be enough to say that I cryed during the first song? Well, if not...it was totally awesome. I could feel the sound, and had to jump up and down to the beats. The atmosphere was perfect and so was the opening act. I am now a new fan. Everything about the show was wonderful. What a great show. The lighting and lighting effects were phenomenol. The second section that the theatre was divided into was a perfect distance; didn't have to look up the whole time and not too far from the stage.

  • Brandon Flowers is a "Killer" performer!

by joshanderson on 11/23/10Liberty Hall - LawrenceRating: 5 out of 5

Brandon Flowers put on one hell of a show. The show was at Liberty Hall in Lawrence, KS. The venue has a small "home town" theater feel which provides a very intimate setting. Brandon was on key, energetic, and enthusiastic the entire set. In addition, the band was all excellent players and entertaining. The show was very well put together and could have easily been played in front of a sold out crowd in any arena or amphitheater. As a solo artist Brandon shows a different flavor of lyrics and music. While having the splash of some Killers, which is to be expected, the music is exceptionally written with heart and soul of his own individuality. It was obvious Brandon wrote every song with 100% effort and meaning as he described nearly every songs origins during the set. Those who have given Flamingo a less than exceptional review were not reviewing Brandon, they were expecting a Killers album. If you want to hear the Killers then listen to one of that band's albums. If you want to hear a unique, well crafted album with no fillers, listen to Flamingo and then put the cherry on top and watch the live performance. You will be nothing but blown away by Brandon's charisma resembling that of Freddy Mercury and Wayne Newton combined. Afterwards, my daughter, her friend and I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Flowers. It is clear he is a genuinely nice guy and was more than accommodating in having his photo taken and giving them his autograph. The only disappointment was the crowd. The audience, although definitely fans of Brandon, apparently do not know what it means to get in to a show. Except for a handful in the balcony and a few on the floor, the crowd was very stiff a majority of the time. I will mention this; they did sing along for the most part and were very pleasant. I highly recommend going to his show, and would go again if the band came back through.

I was expecting a great performance, as Brandon always knows how to put on a great show - and like always, my expectations were beyond met. He always brings a great energy to the stage and his vocals are always so nice to listen to - better live sometimes than on record. Saw The Killers and will definitely see them next time they're in town, and got to see B-Flow and will be attending the next time he's here as well. Was awesome hearing his solo stuff and some re-makes from 80's songs, along with some rare killers songs and remixes.
