BRANDON FLOWERS IN CONCERT:

Whether he's fronting The Killers or getting fans dancing with his synthpop-heavy solo work, Brandon Flowers is a consummate showman renowned for his powerful voice and flawless performances. Even though he packs the arena with tons of glitz, glam, and stunning visual effects, Flowers still forms a sincere connection with his fans on standouts like “Can’t Deny My Love” and “Crossfire” before indulging them with his countless hits from The Killers' catalog. Ticket buyers can’t help but swoon to his confident stage presence as he smoothly navigates the unique twists and turns of his dynamic setlist. With his album The Desired Effect still burning up the charts, Brandon Flowers is touring to bring his dance-worthy live show to cities across North America in 2015.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

The youngest of six children, Brandon Flowers was born in Henderson, NV in 1981. After moving to Las Vegas he answered an ad posted by guitarist Dave Keuning in 2001, and they formed The Killers soon after. The group's 2004 debut Hot Fuss spawned a string of massive hits including “All These Things That I’ve Done”, “Smile Like You Mean It”, and “Mr. Brightside”, and was eventually named one of the "100 Greatest Debut Albums of All Time" by Rolling Stone. International success and critical acclaim followed the band in the ensuing decade with hit albums like Sam’s Town (2006) and Day & Age (2008). Flowers made his solo debut in 2010 with the album Flamingo, which premiered at no. 1 on the UK Albums Chart behind the success of powerhouse single “Crossfire”.  Flamingo proved that Flowers had more than enough material to spread between projects, especially when The Killers returned in 2012 with the hit album Battle Born. His sophomore solo effort The Desired Effect arrived in 2015, once again reaching the top spot in the UK. Brandon Flowers’ live shows continue to reach new heights of sophistication and sheen, even as he maintains an intimate connection with his fans thanks to his passionate and powerful songs.

  • Brandon Flowers=INCREDIBLE!!!!!

by Anonymous on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

An SUPERB concert. He had so much energy and intensity and really seemed to be enjoying everything. The venue was great and we had really phenomenal spots because there was only standing room. He sounded amazing and sang not just his songs but a couple killers songs too which everyone really loved. I would recommend this to anyone who likes that type of music. Absolutely fantastic.

A wonderful, incredible show! Brandon Flowers sang many songs from his own album, but he also sang a bunch from past albums with The Killers. Amazing!!

Brandon Flowers' new album is great, but it is even better when you get to hear it live. He has so much energy when he performs you can't not have fun. I definitely recommend seeing him if you can, I loved every second of it!

He has such a dynamic presence on stage and his voice was unbelievable! You could tell he was really into the show and performance. I'm going to be thinking about this performance for a while! I will definitely go to see him or The Killers anytime they come to town.

  • Very "Brandon-esque"

by sicklullabies on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

He was so Brandon this show! It was amazing, I saw him back in Chicago on Aug 23 and wow was he nervous compared to the Philly show. Seeing Brandon this time was like seeing The Killers on a much smaller scale. Philly was so much better than Chicago. I was not disappointed when I left Chicago... he did an amazing show, but after Philly..... well there is not contest... he hands down rocked Philadelphia! He also came back with an encore that included "Read my Mind" so that alone made it special, but we did get to hear "When you were young" in Chicago....another favorite... but "Read my mind" is what keeps me going in life......

Most amazing show I've been to. Sound was great and lighting. One of my favorite artists. I would see this show everyday for the rest of my life if it were possible.

  • Brandon Flowers puts on better show w/ The Killers

by MichelePharmD on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 3 out of 5

I am a huge Killers / Brandon Flowers fan and have seen The Killers play numerous times. I was quite disappointed by the fact that Brandon only played for about an hour, which didn't seem to be much longer than the opening act. It didn't even seem as though he played the entire solo album, and he barely played any Killers songs (just a few short medleys). When he was performing, it was great (as always), but I just really wish he would've put on more of a performance. I mean, he didn't even have an encore. It's really sad that the show was over by 10:30 pm!

  • Different Reaction

by EmCrock on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

Depending on what you expected from Brandon, this show could've been great or a let down. Going into this event understanding that this was NOT the Killers made the me and most of the audience focus on Brandon's performance as a solo artist rather than the entire band. In this context, he puts a lot of himself into his performance and sings and points to certain members of the audience as well as introduces his songs in a heartfelt way. The only downside of this entire performance was his opening number which was a great song but to slow to open with. If you expect the album Flamingo than go. If you're expecting to hear well known Killers hits, than don't waste your money.

  • Brandon Flowers was great

I thought the show was great....Flowers brings amazing energy. If I had one problem it was that the show was a little too short. But overall a good time.

  • Pretty amazing

by PrettyAmazing on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

i must say, he was a lot better live than i expected him to be. he seemed to be having a ton of fun, which makes for a fun show for the audience. of course did mostly his solo stuff and a few covers, but also incorporated a few of his killers material but was able to switch it up in an interesting way.

  • Brandon Flowers was outstanding!

by JojojojoM on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Brandon Flowers brought his solo album to life in this concert -- what an outstanding performance and a perfect venue to be able to see him! It would be great if he released a live version of Crossfire. Great voice, great energy, loved the concert!!

  • Little slice of rock history

by Anonymous on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Honestly, I just feel bad for people that didn't attend this event. After this tour you will never be able to see Brandon Flowers in a small venue. It was an epic evening to be sure. "Crossfire" in concert is a sight to be seen and to finish up with "Mr. Brightside"... wow.

Took my seven year old to this concert since he is a serious Killers Fan. He absolutely had an amazing time. This was his first concert and he rocked out and loved singing to Brandons new hits as well as some ole favorites from the Killers.

The show was lovely. However, we sat upstairs at the electric factory and froze our butts off thanks to a fan that was running at full speed. I had a hard time getting into the show because I was shaking due to the cold. The set list was nice, a short show, but since he only has one album, that is to be expected. Even the Killers have short shows. It was nice that he played a few Killers songs - if he hadn't, the show would have been 45 minutes tops.

  • The show was awesome

by Peddieart on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

The music was top notch! He is a true performer. Entertaining and talented beyond. I was surrounded by young and old, dedicated fans and new followers and everyone enjoyed the event. It was a bit short with him only singing a little over an hour, but what he sang sounded great.

  • Fabulous las Vegas in suck ass Atlantic city

by NatAlieab on 11/29/10House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Brandon flowers is nothing short of fabulous but I as a nj resident was ashamed by the turnout and lack of enthusiasm of the crowd. I went to see him in Philly the next night also though and it sold out and the crowd showed him some more love.
