BRANDON FLOWERS IN CONCERT:

Whether he's fronting The Killers or getting fans dancing with his synthpop-heavy solo work, Brandon Flowers is a consummate showman renowned for his powerful voice and flawless performances. Even though he packs the arena with tons of glitz, glam, and stunning visual effects, Flowers still forms a sincere connection with his fans on standouts like “Can’t Deny My Love” and “Crossfire” before indulging them with his countless hits from The Killers' catalog. Ticket buyers can’t help but swoon to his confident stage presence as he smoothly navigates the unique twists and turns of his dynamic setlist. With his album The Desired Effect still burning up the charts, Brandon Flowers is touring to bring his dance-worthy live show to cities across North America in 2015.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

The youngest of six children, Brandon Flowers was born in Henderson, NV in 1981. After moving to Las Vegas he answered an ad posted by guitarist Dave Keuning in 2001, and they formed The Killers soon after. The group's 2004 debut Hot Fuss spawned a string of massive hits including “All These Things That I’ve Done”, “Smile Like You Mean It”, and “Mr. Brightside”, and was eventually named one of the "100 Greatest Debut Albums of All Time" by Rolling Stone. International success and critical acclaim followed the band in the ensuing decade with hit albums like Sam’s Town (2006) and Day & Age (2008). Flowers made his solo debut in 2010 with the album Flamingo, which premiered at no. 1 on the UK Albums Chart behind the success of powerhouse single “Crossfire”.  Flamingo proved that Flowers had more than enough material to spread between projects, especially when The Killers returned in 2012 with the hit album Battle Born. His sophomore solo effort The Desired Effect arrived in 2015, once again reaching the top spot in the UK. Brandon Flowers’ live shows continue to reach new heights of sophistication and sheen, even as he maintains an intimate connection with his fans thanks to his passionate and powerful songs.

  • Mr. Flowers was excellent!

by CFinx on 12/3/10The Stone Pony - Asbury ParkRating: 5 out of 5

The 12/1/10 Brandon Flowers show at The Stone Pony was simply amazing. I have seen The Killers twice, but was unsure how he would do as a "solo" act. He passed my expectations. Brandon sounded amazing, the band was sharp, and the backup singers added just the right touch. He even played some Killers songs so that was an unexpected surprise. The atomosphere at The Pony was great and the crowd was very chill. It was an excellent night all around.

Awesome. His voice is just as good live (if not better) as it is on his records.

I have waited years to see Brandon Flowers or the Killers in action, and this concert was the moment I had been waiting for. It surpassed everything I had hoped it to be. The venue was perfect for the show and there wasn't a bad spot in the house. I can't wait for him to tour Philadelphia again so that I can relive such a great experience.

Brandon put on a strong show in Philadelphia. Dude is a showman. His voice was as true and his clothes were as tight as I ever could have hoped for. I didn't know if Philadelphia was ready for a "glam rock" superstar like Brandon, but I was. Thanks BF.

  • Brandon Flowers was fantastic!

by Anonymous on 12/1/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I most enthusiastically encourage everyone to see Brandon Flowers! He was fantastic all the times I saw him with The Killers, and he is just as great on his own. This is a "Don't Miss"! This is my second concert at Electric Factory in Philly. The acustics are not the greatest. Also the lighting is not the best, so that Brandon was singing the whole concert with no spotlight on him, so he was in the dark. It is not my favorite venue,

  • Flowers rocked it!

by Peterow on 12/1/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

The chance to see this guy up close and personal versus an arena was awesome. I've been to killers concerts and they are great to say the least. I'm very impressed how he stood on his own and then pleasantly surprised he covered some of the killers stuff in his set. The stage effects were pretty impressive for the size of the show. I just wished it was longer but any amout of time in that setting with Mr. Flowers is and will be unforgettable.

  • Best Show Ever! Im Obsessed

by Anonymous on 12/1/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

As my first real concert, it was nothing short of amazing! His energy, stage performance and his incredible voice will be remembered always. Cant wait to see him and his suit vest again! Reviews were dead on with saying this is the show to see

Transfer (opener) and Brandon Flowers blew my mind! They all had great stage presence and good energy. Flowers' bassist was awesome, too.

Show was excellent. He is a great performer and sounded great live!

  • He blew the roof off

by CFurillo on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Brandon's voice is amazing on the record, but was actually even more amazing in person. I have seen the Killers twice live and now Brandon Flowers solo. His voice is so amazing that he gives me chills just listening to him sing!

  • Brandon Flowers is in a league of his own!

by jonascheer on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Brandon Flowers. Wow. I knew he was extremely talented, and that he would be a great live performer, but I had no idea how spectacular he really is. I can honestly say it was one of the best and most enjoyable concerts I've have been to. And trust me, I have seen many, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Elton John, Jonas Brothers, Honor Society, Maroon 5, Bon Jovi, etc. His show left me wanting more! The only thing I can complain about is having to wait till the next time he is on tour to see him live! Definitely worth seeing.

BF was in excellent form and voice.Stage was kind of retro cool. High energy show , a little bit "Vegas". I was glad that he threw in some Killers at the end.

  • Brandon in top form

by zigtig on 11/30/10House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Great show and if you haven't seen Brandon on his solo tour, you just won't understand how great his shows really are

  • by Anonymous on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely incredible. If you like his solo album and were unsure if he would be as good performing without playing with the rest of the Killers don't be. Brandon knows how to give a great live show.

  • Awesome

by CBEB on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I had seen the killers a long time ago when they were promoting Hot Fuss - Brandon has just got better and better! I love his solo album and was very excited to hear he would be going on tour. I got my tickets right away! He did not disappoint! He was great and so was his back up band/singers! The crowd loved him! ^_^ (only downside was tall ppl getting in the way at moments!!!! no offense to tall ppl!)

  • Way better than I expected... Totally incredible!

    by SV64 on 11/30/10The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

The Brandon Flowers concert was amazing! He played all the songs off of his solo album, Flamingo, 3 Killers songs (Losing Touch, Read my Mind, Mr. Brightside), and a cover. It was so awesome and I'm so glad I went!
