BRANDON FLOWERS IN CONCERT:
Whether he's fronting The Killers or getting fans dancing with his synthpop-heavy solo work, Brandon Flowers is a consummate showman renowned for his powerful voice and flawless performances. Even though he packs the arena with tons of glitz, glam, and stunning visual effects, Flowers still forms a sincere connection with his fans on standouts like “Can’t Deny My Love” and “Crossfire” before indulging them with his countless hits from The Killers' catalog. Ticket buyers can’t help but swoon to his confident stage presence as he smoothly navigates the unique twists and turns of his dynamic setlist. With his album The Desired Effect still burning up the charts, Brandon Flowers is touring to bring his dance-worthy live show to cities across North America in 2015.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The youngest of six children, Brandon Flowers was born in Henderson, NV in 1981. After moving to Las Vegas he answered an ad posted by guitarist Dave Keuning in 2001, and they formed The Killers soon after. The group's 2004 debut Hot Fuss spawned a string of massive hits including “All These Things That I’ve Done”, “Smile Like You Mean It”, and “Mr. Brightside”, and was eventually named one of the "100 Greatest Debut Albums of All Time" by Rolling Stone. International success and critical acclaim followed the band in the ensuing decade with hit albums like Sam’s Town (2006) and Day & Age (2008). Flowers made his solo debut in 2010 with the album Flamingo, which premiered at no. 1 on the UK Albums Chart behind the success of powerhouse single “Crossfire”. Flamingo proved that Flowers had more than enough material to spread between projects, especially when The Killers returned in 2012 with the hit album Battle Born. His sophomore solo effort The Desired Effect arrived in 2015, once again reaching the top spot in the UK. Brandon Flowers’ live shows continue to reach new heights of sophistication and sheen, even as he maintains an intimate connection with his fans thanks to his passionate and powerful songs.

Great energy on stage, backing band was really good - A great time all around! Love the new album but it sounds even better live!
Great show- Betty Davis Eyes was my favorite....I hear he switches up the set list quite a bit, which I liked so it kept the concert unpredictable. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because he didn't play that long....about an hour. I wanted more!!!!!
The show was fabulous. He's an amazing live performer, both in The Killers and solo.
I had gone to the pre-show up in NYC (the intimate evening with BF), and wasn't blown away by that show. It was subpar to say the least, so when this show came up, I was excited, but not like I usually am for a Killers concert. This show was superb! The set list was great, and the encore was fantastic...it was a great end. He was full of energy, the crowd was into it, and it was overall a great show - for any of you that have gone to a Killers concert, it was like that.
The guy loves himself so much, he didn't show up until 2 hours after starting time.
Brandon Flowers is extremely talented. He sounds great live- it was an amazing show!
Given his Vegas upbringing, I was hoping for a really extravagant stage set up. Upon arriving, I realized that wouldn't be the case. Flowers kept the set simple but his talented lighting designer really accented key moments thoughout the night quite well. Flowers' passion is evident for the duration of the performance. On top of that, I got an unexpected but pleasant surprise when he did an interesting Killers medley revolving around "Mr. Brightside". Overall, I had a great time. I'd gladly pay money to see him again.
saw him the day before, would go a third time if i could
Brandon Flowers is ALWAYS amazing! He has great energy and knows how to put on a show.
I love Brandon Flowers' new album, but was unsure how a concert on his own would be. I wasn't unsure for long. He is just as wonderful as when he is with The Killers. He played a few Killers' songs and did a great cover of "She's Got Betty Davis Eyes." Thoroughly entertaining and energetic. His stripped down version of "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" was beautifully haunting.
The BEST show I've been to in a VERY long time! Brandon Flowers put on an awesome show! Of course it helps to have a Fantastic album to perform! Recommend his show and especially his album "Flamingo" to EVERYONE!!!
I am a big The Killers fan, so watching Brandon Flowers seemed a logical thing to do. Amazing concert, amazing music. Great performance. I will be attending every single concert on east coast.
I enjoyed the concert so very much! His performance was absolutely excellent. Brandon Flowers is a definite must see, I cant wait to see him again!
Voice is amazing. Short setlist. Bang for your buck.
The Stone Pony was the perfect venue for this show. His voice is incredible live and he was really able to connect with the crowd. A wonderful, memorable night!!!
I absolutely love shows at the Pony. Close to home, small and up close. Brandon was in great form. Love his solo music..sad to see it end..a little to short..great close though!!
Brandon Flowers has an absolutely incredible voice, he's better live that he is recorded. Great night.
Played for an hour, seemed like a canned performance, lacking passion. Sounded good, the songs were good, but Brandon seemed tired and his voice also seemed tired. I liked all the songs but was hoping to be blown away to see such an accomplished performer in such a small setting. Promised land was nice and sounded good also, but was also uninspired. Seemed like Brandon mailed it in.
It was amazing to pay $22 to see such a talented, seasoned performer at venue like the Stone Pony. Asbury music scene attracts and supports world class talent and it would be great to see more shows like that happen there. My only complaint is that he did not introduce his band. They almost seemed incidental.
Awesome - my first trip to the Stone Pony - a classic venue that has to be on your bucket list. Asbury Park is a short drive form most major sities on the Mid Atlantic area - Philly / NYC. Flowers put on a very powerful 1 set performance - playing a combination of Killers, new Flowers stuff and even paid hommage to the Pony's most respected graduate - Bruce Almighty - playing a Springsteen classic "Promise Land" - and performed an excellent rendition of which Bruce would be proud. Flowers is a must see - I'm now hoping to see him live with the Killers.
