Active for nearly 40 years, Boston’s combination of hard progressive rock, phenomenal guitar work, and soaring vocals is still as riveting and relevant as ever. In 2013, the acclaimed rockers dropped their sixth studio album – and first since the death of lead singer Brad Delp in 2007 – Life, Love & Hope. Delp sings on a handful of the tracks, while several other vocalists fill out the rest of the album. 2012 saw the band touring for ticket holders across the country, performing fan-favorite songs from their hit-filled back catalogue.
Boston’s self-titled debut album came out in 1976, catapulting the band to stardom with the smash singles “Long Time,” “More Than a Feeling,” and “Peace of Mind,” remaining on the Billboard charts for an astonishing 132 weeks and becoming the best-selling debut album in US history. After opening concerts for Black Sabbath, Blue Öyster Cult, and Foghat, Boston charted its own headlining tour and became the first band to play Madison Square Garden in their New York City debut. Their second album Don’t Look Back came out in 1978 and sold over seven million copies, with its title track reaching No. 4 on the charts. Boston’s third album Third Stage came out in 1986, expanding their sound with electronic drum samples, and remained the No. 1 album for four weeks on the strength of top 20 singles “Amanda,” “Can’tcha Say” and “We’re Ready.” 1994’s platinum-selling Walk On followed, as well as 2002’s Corporate America.

I am only 25 but love old rock. I was the best experience to be able to see my and my parents favorite band together!
New lead singer had a strong voice, hit most chords. gutiars, pianos were terrific.. played all the hits.
They sounded awesome!!! I didn't know what to expect with Brad being gone but David Victor and Tommy DeCarlo did great. Really liked David Victor a lot.
I have never left a concert before I attended this one. It was much too loud, and it hurt to be there. We had to leave after half an hour. Not at all recommended unless you attend the sound check
Sorry to say that although it was their first stop on the tour, I think they could have done a more professional job. In particular, the sound was muddy and a bit too loud. Of course the voice was not the same but tht's to be expected under the unfortunate circumstances.
Fantastic show in St Aug FL - we had tickets for the ill fated 2008 St Aug concert that was canceled due to some nameless Hurricane. Tom and his band rocked hard and long launching into hit after hit and playing steady for about 2hours. A must see for any Boston fan.
ive seen my fair share of shows!! but, my god!! Brad Delp!! RIP!! but, this band is superbly awesum!!! LIVE!! u gotta c them..
To the band Boston Been seeing this band of years. Tacoma Dome for Third Stage 7/31/87. Cool. Went to the tribute show on the water for Brad in Boston, took R and B to the show and We have the shirts from the show. Took R to see the band in ATL. with Styx 8/17/08 always try to see them when I can. Seen at least one show from each tour and I can't wait for the next stage of the band. To the band: I'd like a shot at the singing job if the chance should come up. Wish I could buy a DVD from the band. The internet stuff isn't in any quality at all. RFF
Boston still alive and well in 2010! Work on another studio album IS progressing but at an agonizing slow rate..I do not want to give much info about the new album - It will have the very recognizable BOSTON sound...I think everyone will enjoy it as long as they like big band swing & rap...JUST KIDDING! Unfortunatly we will not be finished for a summer tour BUT we will have a tour to support our album.. SEE YOU ALL IN LATE 2010-2011!!
