  • Not the best

by NHPride on 12/24/19SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 3 out of 5

The music was wonderful. The sound did not sound the best due to the speakers or the way the room bounced the sound around. Wish it was a little louder. Keith Lockhart was amazing with all the crew on stage! Our seats had obstructed views. I could NOT see the stage very well at all. We had floor seats and peoples heads were in our way. Very disappointing for this and the cost of almost $200 for 2 tickets and we couldn't see. Also getting to our seats was a bit confusing. There should have been more help at the arena with finding seating.

  • Boston Pops

by Pat on 12/19/19New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

The show was incredible! It was one of the best holiday concerts I have ever attended. I would definitely make this a yearly thing, even though I travel in from Pa. Keith was at his best and the selections were wonderful. The "12 days of Christmas" was amazing and the Polar Express made me teary. The choral singers were fantastic! Please continue to bring this show back every year!!

  • Fantastic Concert by Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops

by J. S. on 12/19/19New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

The Boston Pops on Tour at NJPAC on 12/15/19 was fantastic. I have seen Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops at Tanglewood a number of times; and their concerts are always my favorite summer events. I was so thrilled when I found out last spring that they would be coming to NJPAC in December. I bought my tickets as soon as I heard about the concert. The concert was outstanding. They always give a great concert; and this concert was above and beyond. They did all of the Christmas favorites and included a sing along; and it was all so enjoyable. NJPAC Prudential Hall is a great venue. I had a great view from the first tier and the sound was terrific. I am so glad I went and I will certainly go again if/when Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops come back to NJPAC for another concert.

We’ve seen the Boston Pops at NJPAC for a number of years. This concert was the best we’ve seen. The song selections were excellent. The music - flawless.

  • Boston Pops at NJPAC

by Jeannie on 12/18/19New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience enjoying the Boston Pops concert! The orchestra presented a good selection of pieces. Having listened to their CD of holiday songs for years, I figured I would just hear the same songs live and in person. No! It was even better. They did an excerpt from "Amahl and the Night Visitors," a musical work which was introduced to me by my fifth grade teacher in 1959. It was great to hear it again! They did a presentation of "The Polar Express" which I saw as a movie, but the narration of the book accompanied by music was absolutely spectacular. The orchestra's rendition of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" was a work of musical art! Bravo!

  • Superb Holiday Concert

The concert was well planned, organized but most of all just pure holiday fun. No one should miss the Boston Pops.

  • Black Friday Discount Tickets!!!

by Bob-ooo on 12/18/19New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

Grabbed some cheap seats for the fourth level at NJPAC for this show. The acoustics are wonderful and you can hear the piccolo parts quite well. Keith has done an amazing job of keeping the Pops at the top with his creativity and musical talent. The orchestra along with the choir made for a truly entertaining time. This is probably the best Christmas show that I will see this season!!! Try to catch them every time that they are around!!!

  • WONDERFUL

by Gail on 12/18/19New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

We missed seeing the Boston Pops at NJPAC since they were last scheduled to appear-it's been several years and we're so glad to have them back. Such fine performing and a wonderful way to get in the Christmas spirit. A solid 2 hours of enjoyment. The only NOT wonderful part was the purely political message by Gov. Murphy, both in the Playbill and read by the conductor before the governor read "Twas the Night Before Christmas". We've been at several concerts and other governors did not insert their political message. Definitely unnecessary. There were many snickers near us in the audience.

  • When they finally come back to New York or New Jersey again.

  • Waiting years to go

by Jenny on 12/18/19New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

Boston Pops is an event everyone should see. It was a wonderful time. The orchestra played so beautifully. The Chorale (group of chorus) was amazing. At the end they did a 5 song sing a long with the audience. My 10 and 7 year old were singing because they played Christmas songs everyone knows. I am hoping they come back to NJPAC again next year. Looking forward to going again.

  • Fabulous evening w/the Boston Pops

by Johnny W on 3/24/19The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman - WoodlandsRating: 5 out of 5

First time attendee. The Pops was as good as advertised and of course, exceeded in person compared with what you see on TV(though we enjoy the Independence Day concerts, from afar in Houston, very much). Keith Lockhart is simply one of the very best conductors, as is evidenced by his long tenure of close to 25 years with the Boston Pops. Look forward to seeing them back in The Woodlands soon.

  • AMAZING!

by Cata on 2/21/19Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I invited my mom to this concert on her bday. She has always been a great fan of this orchestra but had never seen them play live. So we travelled from South America. She did not know about the invite till just 3 hours before. Seeing her face when the doors opened and later when the orchestra started playing, was absolutely priceless!

  • The Boston Pops away from home

by J. on 2/18/19Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

We love seeing The Boston Pops in Fort Lauderdale. It is an easy ride from our timeshare, the parking is connected to the Broward Center, the seats have great sight lines...even the $55 seats. The acoustics are wonderful. The temperature is not freezing. All in all...we had a convenient and delightful experience. We love hearing the music of John Williams.

  • Out of this world!

What a sensational evening. Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops are world renown for good reason. Pair them with the music of John Williams and you have a night to remember and treasure.
