What an amazing experience to hear live, the soundtrack to so many notable movies from the same orchestra that laid down the musical tracks for the original productions! the Boston Pops is one of the best orchestras in the world and Keith Lockhart still gives each performance his energy and sparkle.
The Boston Pops concert was simply a delightful experience for our group 4 older people. The John Williams selections were right on the mark and the incorporation of the MSD students was inspired. Kudos to to Keith Lockhart and the entire organization.
I have always enjoyed the Boston Pops. I think Keith Lockhart is a great conductor for these times. I did not pay attention to what they were going to be playing when I ordered my tickets but when I found out it was John Williams I was so pleased. It’s music that we’ve all grown up to and music that we all love. I was not disappointed.
Fantastic experience watching the Boston Pops Orchestra play the music of John Williams. The conductor paused to speak to the crowd in between a lot of songs to give context and back story to John Williams brilliant career. Soloists performed outstandingly. The inner music nerd in me was in total glee.
This was an awesome tribute to John Williams. Great music.
Too much emphasis on one composer, regardless of his fame. Too much of one person's style, even if it was by John Williams. His style is most enjoyable, but hardly unforgetable.
The music was great, of course! Sitting in the balcony was a mistake. I will remember to spend more on better seats for the rest of my life.
The Boston POPs is always a wonderful concert whether in Boston or on the road. Locckhart’s commentary is always informative as well. He lends context when other conductors are mute about the music.
What a privilege it was to see such a talented group of musicians play pieces from some of my favorite movies. It is impossible to pick a favorite. The genius that is John Williams was well represented by The Boston Pops!!
Wonderful way to spend the evening. The selections were a perfect blend of the best of Williams.
Fantastic evening of beautiful music, Only change would be to have music of different composers, They dedicated the evening to the music of the great John Williams, I would have liked to have heard other greats. But it was a fantastic show and I am already making plans for next year

The musical selections played by the Boston Pops Orchestra really showed what a gifted and talented composer John Williams has been. The concert also showed how varied and productive he has been. The Pops conductor, Keith Lockhart, did a really good job of providing background information on John Williams and the musical selections.
Music was awesome, and quite nostalgic. Had me smiling throughout the evening.
My husband and I had a Pops date. I was wondering how he’d like it based on it was his first time. As it ended he said he wanted to come back next year. We loved it! A nice way to sit back and actually enjoy Christmas.
Keith Lockhart always puts on a marvelous show he outdid himself this time he’s a fun conductor an excellent conductor the show was a marvelous
My husband and I attended the performance and had a great time!! The venue was very festive. The choice of music was terrific, especially The 12 Days of Christmas. We loved the pairing with the local choral group. It was our first time attending this year, but it will probably be an annual tradition now.
Fantastic from beginnng to end. Great seats, great music, we will definitely come back.
boston pops was amazing. i think tickets were a little overpriced for how many empty seats there were. my friend and i had the row 122 all to ourselves. i would love to see them again next year!
Outstanding performance. Delightful, uplifting experience. Entrance to arena a hassle. Program should be longer.
