Boston Bruins History
Established in 1924, the Boston Bruins were the first American team to join the NHL(Opens in new tab). They won their first of six Stanley Cup championships in just their fifth season in 1929, defeating the defending champions New York Rangers. It was the first Stanley Cup championship to feature two U.S. teams. The Bruins added championships in 1939 and 1941, and between 1943 and 1958 they reached the final five more times.
After the arrival of future Hall of Famers Bobby Orr (a three-time MVP) and Phil Esposito (one of the greatest goal-scorers of all time and the first player to score 100 points in a season), the Bruins won Stanley Cup Championships in 1970 and 1972. The image of Orr flying through the air after scoring "The Goal" in overtime to defeat the St. Louis Blues in 1970 is one of the most memorable in hockey history.
On April 9, 2023, the Bruins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-3, marking their 63rd win of the season and setting a new NHL record for the most single-season wins. They made history again on April 12 when they reached 133 points scored in a single season thanks to a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals, besting the 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens for the NHL team with the most points scored in a single season.
Twenty-nine straight appearances in the Playoffs followed — a record among all professional sports — including Stanley Cup Final appearances in 1974, 1977–1978, 1988, and 1990.
After a two-decade absence, the Bruins returned to the Stanley Cup Final in 2011, defeating the Vancouver Canucks in a thrilling seven-game series behind the goaltending of Tim Thomas. To date, the Bruins have made 20 appearances in the Stanley Cup Final, including most recently in 2019. Legendary players who have worn the Bruins’ jersey include Hall of Famers Cecil "Tiny" Thompson, Eddie Shore, and Aubrey "Dit" Clapper.

saw a great game in a great environment. had good seats and would deffanitely recomend to any hockey fan who wants to watch some good hockey.
It was the first game and it was something that I will always remember. It was Amazing and the seats were PERFECT.
We really enjoyed our seats we love Hockey I'm sure we will go back to more games, hopefully in future
Everything was good except most of the Bruins players did not look like they were trying, they looked lazy, this was dissappointing for a "Grudge Match".
A great game, although a lot of our key players were missing. Really glad we won, not too happy with the energy, without Luc & Savard, Wideman & a few others, the energy was just a little lacking. Overall, great win, happy to see them play.
this was my first NHL game and I was blown away by the intensity of the fans, and the theatrical aspect of the game. i cant wait to come see another.
Attending a hockey game is not something people from my country, The Netherlands, often do but I would recommend it to all of them. I was eyes and ears short all game long. This game is so cool to watch live! Even better than on TV besides that: the atmosphere and show is amazing. First I thought that 300$ for 2 tickets was a bit too much but is was worth it all. Even while the Bruins lost.
The game was awesome and the seats were spectacular, center ice 18 rows back.
Wow, that was an amazing experience! My family & I had never been to the "new" garden so it was doubly amazing. The game was awesome, the temperature was cool but not anywhere near as cold as the "old" garden that I remember. Would go again in a heartbeat!
Loved our seats, children were comfortable. Food is very over priced.... i got a veggie wrap and a bag of chips for $12. 50....... Come on.... Make it more affordable..
Great seats, great place, wonderful people, and my team won. I'd go again to this location in a heartbeat.
By far the best bang for your buck...We were able to get tickets, park and feed the whole family of four for an affordable price. They make it entertaining for the kids...which is very cool. They had a blast.
Over all the B's have to go out there & play a good tough 60 minutes. When they were working hard things happend. But there were too many times they let up & they got walked all over.
I hate driving my family 300 miles to watch the B's play no D. They let Kessel and Yelle go with no apperant fill-ins, and really did nothing to shore up the defense. They gave us a taste last year of what could be, but have decided to go back to mediocre play. I think the organization owes the fans more.
Paid $140 x 2 for Bruins tickets. Brought my son along. Great game. But the people behind me screamed obscenities throughout. And they got belligerent when I (and others) asked them to quite down. I don't need the grief.
Bruins played well in the first period, things went down hill after that. Loss to Ducks . Better Luck next time.
dramatic finish to an aewsome night
Bruins hockey is a great night out, even though the B's lost to Anaheim the Garden is a great place to see a game.
The Garden is always a great place to see a game. However, the B's choked and were beaten by "Disney on Ice"...they did not put any effort into the game and quit skating and playing after the first period a very disappointed fan, michele
The game was awesome! We lost...what can I say, the Ducks played hard last night. Luckily it was only game 3. Any night at the Garden is worth while. ...Of course, I'd much rather a win!
