As a long-time educator, I thought the show was hilarious, laughing until I cried. The jokes were spot-on with education. My husband, who was not an educator, thought it was very funny too but didn't understand all of the jokes. It was a great time and well worth the money to see it!
4 very funny comedians and a great experience all around. It's a must go to show!
I am so happy I went to the Bored Teacher's Comedy Tour. If you haven't been, you really need to go! It was packed to capacity, so be prepared. Anyway, I laughed from start to finish. I haven't laughed that much in what feels like forever, and to laugh from start to finish, is extraordinary for me. If they return to Mississippi, I am definitely going to attend again.
Saw the fb ad about the show. We love a good comedy show…Bored Teachers… hmm. My impression was the comedy would be about teachers making light of parents and students and faculty…the show was great if you are an educator because it was geared towards teachers and faculty… My wife and I attended and really enjoyed it… but since we are not educators or in the field we feel we don’t need to attend another show.. Maybe if you could change the material and share some funny stories/tidbits of what some parents do/say and same for the kids…. We may consider seeing another show..
My cheeks were sore from laughing! I was so excited for Bri Richardson (Mississippi girl) to be one of the comedians at the show I was at in Mississippi. KJ Mack was a great Emcee and comedian! The whole night was full of laughter!
What a great show! The comedians are genuine and kind and hilarious!
All the teachers (comedians) were hilarious. So many stories are relatable which makes them even funnier. It was a great night!
Was very funny but we were in the back row and it was at times very hard to hear the speaker.
As a teacher spouse and one-time middle school teacher, I give you an AMEN! It was like looking in a mirror and listening to my wife's stories every night. It also reminded me that if I were to go back into the classroom I'd probably be arrested for assault the first day. Educators deserve way more $$ and respect than they get in today's society. They do more testing and parenting than actual teaching on many days.
Great show! It was hilarious and entertaining. Every comedian had a different delivery style and relating material (teacher). It was a great time! We laughed so much.
I just saw the Bored Teachers Comedy Tour in Ottawa. Very funny, lively , well put together. It was fun to see some of my favourite YouTubers in person. It's their first tour to Canada, and there were was lots of material that was topical for our city. I have no tolerance for crude and inappropriate humour - there was none of that! The three shows were sold out. If you are a teacher with a sense of humour, please go.
The show was fantastic and funny. I could relate to many situations that were mentioned ..some of the new Slang words or expressions , I had no idea what they meant , but laughed anyway . The cast members were hysterical and very pleasant to meet . I really enjoyed the show .
The show was awesome and I laughed the whole time. Great stress relief for me and my fellow teachers. I was surprised though, that the show started 20 minutes late and was done around 9:30pm. I expected at least another 20 minutes and/or another comedian. I thought this show brought 5 people with them on stage.
The show was great, but I won’t see it again. Teachers make the worst audience, ones sitting near me talked the whole show.
This show was so funny and entertaining. The fact that I can relate to so many of the funny stories made it that much better! I’d definitely see them again.
I learned that teachers can be just as rude and inconsiderate as their worst students. Audience members were on their phones, constantly walking to and from the bathrooms and carrying on conversations above whisper levels. It was the epitome of “do as I say…” I wouldn’t be surprised if they stuck bubblegum under their seats. Many deserved a trip to the principal’s office. This show itself was like any classroom presentation. If you can ignore the distractions, you might get something out of it. Two performers were great. Really funny with nicely developed routines and good timing. Another was so-so, and I’m guessing they’re improving. But one was just plain loud. Yelling the punchline doesn’t make it any funnier. Yes, I would recommend this show. But you’re going to wish you had a detention pad.
Great show. All 4 teachers had different styles and funny stories from schools, kids, and colleagues!
I had such a wonderful, relaxing and fun time at the show. It is rare that I get to go out, being a teacher and a parent to 5 children. I laughed from start to finish and luckily didn't pee my pants. Thank you @Bored Teachers. I really needed that.
I was looking forward to this with great anticipation. There were 4 comedians and for the most part their humor was educator related. I was not impressed with the first one, a woman who just did bathroom humor for her entire set....literally talking about her turtle heading while teaching. Just not in my interest area. Two out of the other 4 were very funny as their humor was much more relatable to educators. Devin Siebold has made me laugh for years on youtube but his set seemed rushed and not authentic. His video skits are hilarious and spot on and I was hoping he'd use them or parts of them on stage but he just stuck to one liners mostly. The blonde woman was by far the funniest, we enjoyed her the most!! Maybe add an older teacher, close to retirement who's seen it all...or close to it that can tell stories and inject humor more universally relatable. Let the young teachers see what they have to look forward to...That would be hilarious if delivered correctly!
