  • AWESOME!!

Bored Teachers is the best way to end your Teacher Appreciation Week! Many of the jokes were things that teachers understand you would love to say but know you can't!! To hear someone say these things and everyone around you is laughing and relating to them is a great morale booster for any teacher!! I highly recommend it for some self care!!! It will make you laugh until you cry!! Best P.L.C. I have gone to in along time!! It was totally for my entertainment!!

  • Hilarious!

Had such a fun time at Bored Teacher! It was very relatable! Great night out!

  • Integrity Teachers

by Lou on 5/8/24Columbia County Performing Arts Center - EvansRating: 4 out of 5

The situations shared were real that have happened in the classroom & we could identify with! I would improve telling these true stories by less 4 letter words, even though we are adults-some comments were more on the crude side. Having a tshirt/towel with For the Kids (but really stands for something else) was not funny, and our group didn't approve of using that in their act. Somebody has to be the grownup even when we're angry with student behavior.

  • Laughing and laughing and laughing

by Kelly R. on 5/8/24Macon City Auditorium - MaconRating: 5 out of 5

To be in a room with a group of educators who get it. To have comedians who get it. The unity in laughter was an amazing experience. Thank you to the talented comedians (and teachers) for bringing empathy and light-hearted comedy to the hardest job on the planet.

by CJ on 5/8/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

I bought the tickets for me an a friend as a retirement present for myself. 42 years of teaching. We laughed so much during the show. It was one laugh after another.

  • Laughed through the entire show!

by Jan on 5/7/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Had a wonderful time and laughed throughout the whole show. If you’re a teacher you will relate to this entire show.

  • Not bored

by Bill on 5/7/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Very nice show, my wife is a teacher ( 40 years ) so yes I had to go with her 😂. So I understood all the jokes.

  • So funny I peed myself a little

by Tara on 5/7/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

This was a wonderful show and even better than I expected. I regularly watch videos on Bored Teachers Facebook and was super excited about the live show. All of the comics were incredible and even my husband who is not a teacher had a really great time. I can't wait until they return to Charlotte!

  • A show for all to enjoy!

by Orrin on 5/6/24Columbia County Performing Arts Center - EvansRating: 5 out of 5

I am not a teacher And this show is hundred percent geared towards teachers! I laughed so hard at all of the jokes! It’s funny to see how my kids and other kids and how the teachers respond. These are wonderful hilarious human beings really did a top-notch job.

  • Funny but unnecessary language

by AMe on 5/6/24Columbia County Performing Arts Center - EvansRating: 3 out of 5

The first and last act were great. They shared funny stories about their real teaching experiences. The middle two acts come across as jaded and rude.

  • It was hilarious

by TFox on 5/6/24Columbia County Performing Arts Center - EvansRating: 4 out of 5

I really wanted to see Ms. Richardson, however the entire show was very good!

  • Taught for 31 years.

by Retired Teacher on 5/6/24Columbia County Performing Arts Center - EvansRating: 3 out of 5

I see several video reels and they are about real classrooms. I was shocked at the language! Very little about being a teacher. Almost impossible to understand because the sound was so loud.

  • Sound system

by Retired teacher. on 5/6/24Columbia County Performing Arts Center - EvansRating: 2 out of 5

Comedy was good ( what I could understand) but the sound system in the Columbia County performing arts center is terrible.

  • So hard to hear jokes!

by Carmen on 5/6/24Columbia County Performing Arts Center - EvansRating: 3 out of 5

As,a retired teacher, I was excited to see this show. The venue is great. Our tickets were for balcony seats. I was so very disappointed in the ability to hear/understand the jokes due to sound quality...I rarely heard the punchlines- the louder they spoke into the microphone, the harder it was to understand what they were saying. 3 of the male comics were tough to understand. The female was the best of the 4. People around me weren't laughing because we couldn't understand them. People around me kept saying "what did they say?". I felt as though I missed out on so much for the ticket price. The front rows seemed so happy with the show. My friends and I were very disappointed.

  • Poor Sound System

by John W on 5/6/24Columbia County Performing Arts Center - EvansRating: 1 out of 5

The sound bounded and rebounded that I didn't hear much of what was said. I don't know if it would have better at another seat (my wife and I were orchestra center). What few jokes I heard were funny but I heard so little that it wasn't worthwhile.

  • Hard to Hear Performance

by Frustrated on 4/28/24Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

So … I am a teacher AND - I love to chat with my colleagues. I will take every opportunity I can to do that. I will own that. However - the amount and volume of side conversations at this performance were such that it was VERY difficult to hear the comedians.

  • Just Ok

by Dodger on 4/24/24Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 2 out of 5

The show wasn't that great, a few funny parts but was totally geared towards teachers and not the general public. If this is the format it should be advertised accordingly. We were expecting funny stories about student/teacher interactions and not just catering to teachers and their troubles with "admin". I eould not go to another one of these shows.

  • A teacher of 20 years.....

by Kim on 4/24/24Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic show, I laughed so hard, my stomach hurt!!
