We have been fans since the early 90's and they have never disappointed us. We missed Sammy but Kurt is still spot on. I look forward to listening to them for many years to come.

  • What a great night!

    by CDavid1 on 6/21/12Variety Playhouse - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I have liked this band since the late 80's but never had a chance to see them in person. They rocked the place playing a great mix of classics and a couple new songs. Go see them if you can. You will have an awesome time!!

  • Bodeans - lively, energetic - fun!

    by 123Song on 6/16/12Jannus Live - St PetersburgRating: 5 out of 5

Had a great time, danced for two hours, able to see all their faces and expressions - great experience, always is at Jannus!!

  • BoDeans rocked Portland!

by igloominati on 6/13/12Aladdin Theater - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

BoDeans opened with Idaho which was very cool but then played quite a bit of new material before getting back to their old familiar music. Had there been more "oldies" I would have cast that fifth-star their way on this rating, but alas they receive four which are well deserved. People were dancing down in front of the stage and carrying on like a bunch of teenagers; it was really a great show with amazing energy!

  • Bo...Donts

by Dahlbert on 1/6/12Burnsville... - BurnsvilleRating: 2 out of 5

OK here it goes...I have watched the BoDeans in tune of 30 times or more...for the last 20 years...Saw them at their BEST...and now after the deal at Burnsville...well it was their WORST....After Sammy left...the BoDeans said they where continuing on with the band...and that would be to play BODEAN songs...well thatdidnt happen...Isay keep on playing where they came from...even without Sams amazing impact and go from there....and ya add some stuff(Kurt)....but please for the sake of the BoDeans...keep playing it ALL....otherwise my dear...Im sure it will become the Bo Donts....and we all loose....Better yet...tell Sammy we miss him dearly and suck it up and get back out there....with the greatest band ever...THE BODEANS....Love ya and miss ya...

  • Awesome!

by ratherbfishing on 1/4/12Burnsville Performing Arts Center - BurnsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

We drove from WI to see the Bo Deans for the first time. The show was great with high energy. The new line up was great too. It was worth the drive home in the storm. I definitley would go see them again.

Totally enjoyed the group and the setting. The music sounded great.

  • BoDeans - Amazing even without Sammy!!

by Keywest3 on 1/3/12Burnsville Performing Arts Center - BurnsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

It started out slowly, and it was strange not to have Sammy playing/singing, but as I got used to Kurt and the different sound of the harmonies it returned to 'amazing'!! The BoDeans are very different with the current lineup, but still very much the same. Hard to explain, but true. Give them a chance; unless the only songs you have liked in the past were Sammy's, you won't regret it! :-)

  • BoDeans and Alison Scott...Awesome.

by crinch on 1/3/12Burnsville Performing Arts Center - BurnsvilleRating: 4 out of 5

BoDeans were great - all of the Musicians on stage were talented and great to listen to. It was a GREAT surprise to find out when I arrived that Alison Scott was performing, also. I would have paid just to hear her...so double bang for the buck. My only issue was that i assumed the Burnsville Arts Theatre would have had better sound. I was in the 3rd row on Left of stage and could not understand Kurt when he spoke. And it was not because he wasn't speaking clearly. It was a strain to hear any speaking. Music volume was perfect not too loud,,,I would definitely go see them again. It would be 5 start except a bit disappointed in the Theatre Sound system.

Great show. Very talented musicians. Had trouble hearing vocals sometimes.

  • Great concert by Bodeans

by hillheaddeb on 1/1/12Burnsville Performing Arts Center - BurnsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I attended the concert...really didn't know the Bodeans music well before but we definitely will be listening to them often now. We both loved it!

  • Thanks BoDeans for a great show!

by MagdalineC on 1/1/12Burnsville Performing Arts Center - BurnsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

We loved Alison Scott who opened for BoDeans! BoDeans put on a great show. They are all very talented. This was our first time seeing them in concert, but, we have love their music for decades! Thanks!

  • BoDeans were very good!

by DoctorMo on 1/1/12Burnsville Performing Arts Center - BurnsvilleRating: 4 out of 5

BoDeans put on a good concert. Basically all music and no special effects or annoying lighting to deal with. Had some concerns about the band being different after one of the founders moved on recently but the show was still good and upbeat. They played their main stuff and a few new items. They kept the songs coming and did not waste much time. The encore was a couple more songs that rounded out the night. Good effort considering the recent loss of Sam Llanas. Kurt Neumann keeps the band on track and rocking on.

  • BoDeans Best Performance

by Flowertrellis on 1/1/12Burnsville Performing Arts Center - BurnsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Proving life goes on without Sammy with their best performance ever!

  • Unexpectingly great show

    by Registerednurse1 on 10/8/11Vogue Theatre - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

I actually didn't know what to expect. I knew of only two of their songs and hadn't heard from anyone that had seen them. I was pleasantly surprised. The show was good, especially when the lead singer went and played with the drummer on the last song of the set, and the encore was great, when they finally played the two songs I was familiar with. All in all, well worth it.

  • Awesome experience with Kurt and the crew

by MaryKateD on 10/8/11Vogue Theatre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Truly we found out about the BoDeans loss on the way to the concert. Wasn't sure what to think but so glad we went. Kurt is an amazing compelling musician and Jake was a great addition. As a lifelong BoDeans fan I would count this as one of my favorite shows with them ever

  • No harmony

by BigjimIny on 10/8/11Vogue Theatre - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

Didn't know the other dude left the band. Bummer. Nothing sounded right.

  • Bodeans Rocked

by NoBubbleGum on 9/19/11Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I saw the Bodeans 20 years ago at the Chestnut Street Cabaret in Philadelphia. I have since relocated to the Cincinnati area and got the opportunity to see them again. Although Sammy is no longer with the band and their sound naturally was a bit different without him, Kurt was just as amazing as I can remember him being 20 years ago. The rest of the guys in the band now are no slouches either. It was a very impressive show.

  • Great show

by Beeeeee on 7/25/11Minnesota Zoo Amphitheater - Apple ValleyRating: 4 out of 5

The Bodeans are a great jamming band. I went to see Alison Scott and knew a few Bodean songs. I was very delighted to hear the great jamming sounds of guitar and vocals with the Bodeans. Very good concert!
