Bobby Rydell Tickets

Very professional production with each act blending into the next. We couldn't pick a favorite ... and it lasted THREE HOURS ! We were more than pleased. However, the sound system at this venue was not synched correctly and some acts, like the poor Shirelles could barely be heard. Shirley looked so flustered but handled it like a lady on stage. I hope she gave someone hell when she got off.

Enjoyed the show, would highly recommend it. seeing all the great all groups were a great treat and they all sounded unbelievably wonderful. My only disappointment was that Bobby Rydell, who was the "Headliner" didn't get enough time on stage. I've seen him many times before with the "Golden Boys of Bandstand" and it was a much better show. The Show Producer should not have used Bobby as the "Headliner" as it was very misleading with his picture on the advertisement.

Was a very good show highlighted by the Shirelles and Flamengos. Was a little disappointed with Bobby Rydell who performed more of a night club act rather than a concert. Overall was a very good show. And I would recommend

Enjoyed the show which was music from my youth. All the groups were great, especially The Flamingos (I Only Have Eyes For You). Bobby Rydell was a lot of fun with good renditions of his music. The only disappointment was that he didn't sing more of his own songs (only 4 of many). He sang other artist's music. This was our second year attending this event with different acts each year. Enjoyed both and would highly recommend it to those "teens" from the 50's and 60's.

I would give this show 6 stars! Fabulous. Bobby Rydel put on a fabulous show. This was as good as any Las Vegas performance I've seen. Bravo.

We arrived at the auditorium a little early to have a glass of wine but on a college campus and no alcohol is served..The show started on time. Seating was good, can see from all seats in the venue. The show was much more than I expected, the add did not mention that there were going to be a number of 50's & 60's groups playing. The Flamingos, the Shirells and others were fantastic. Bobby Rydell was very good. He was the second half of the show after intermission. He sang a few of his hits but mostly others hits and show songs. Would have like it more if he stuck to his songs but still very entertaining. The show lasted three hours.and was a great value.

The sold out, as far as I could see, event was well worth the money. I thought the Mystics were great, the Sherells good and Bobby Rydell awesome. My wife is from Peru but lived here for 40 years and this is what she missed growing up. She loved it.

Having a second row seat made this event even better!! All groups were terrific. Great 10 piece band. The Classics, The Shirelles, The Flamingos, and Mystics were the first two hours of the show. Bobby Rydell did the last hour and was great beyond expectations. He still has a great voice and his stage presence was outstanding. Really enjoyed the night.

Went with another couple to our first doo wop concert.....always a huge music lover but amazed myself Joe I remembered the words to all the songs from every group performing

One of the most enjoyable doo wop shows we've seen. Every act was terrific!

Let's start by assuming the sound guy got fired. Between musicians drowning out the vocals, mikes not equalized, feedback galore. After 3 acts, Flamingos finally had the smarts to just stop and complain so the remainder of the show was bearable to the ears. On a separate note, why do these performers think we want to hear their rendition of someone elses songs. People buy these tickets to hear the songs of their youth, from the original acts. And always "embarrassingly" telling the audience how long ago..... Everyone (99%) there is as old or older than the performers! Anyway, overall disappointing night at $50 a ticket for sure.

Bobby still has it , they were all great except for the microphone problems the show was great went last year also can't wait for next years show ,my husband is asking for dion...

Bobby Rydell sounded better than he sounded 50 years ago and he sounded great 50 years ago...All of the groups were in top form..The Flamingo's really rocked it...Emil added much as MC and I sat beside Dennis Tufano who was part of the audience...Not often that I feel like the product was worth more than the price...

5 stars First we have never been to an event at FAU . Excellent facility great seats.All the acts on the Pop,Rock & Doo Woop live show were great.Bobby Rydell was super. He sang Mack the knife by Bobby Darin. Would recommend the FAU auditorium . parking was great. 5 STARS!

I grew up in the 1950's and 1960"s. I became interested in rock and roll at a very young age. I think I was about 8 years old. I grew up on Long Island and so many of the early pioneers of Do Wop were from in and around that area. My wife and I attended the concert at the FAU Auditorium and I have to say it was truly a magical night of entertainment. The venue was really nice and appropriate for this type of show. My wife has always been a huge Bobby Rydell fan as have I. I was also a big Shirelels fan and to see Shirley perform brought back a lot of memories. I loved the other groups including the Flamingos as well and I was singing along with every song that was performed throughout the evening. I can only say that for anyone who was a fan of the type of music that was presented, you could not go wrong if you have an opportunity to see this show.

EVERYONE OF THE GROUPS WAS SENSATIONAL. THE BEST THOUGH WAS BOBBY RYDELL. EACH OF THE GROUPS INTERACTED WITH THE AUDIENCE WHICH WAS GREAT. HOPE THEY ALL COME BACK SOON. Classy show.

Not nearly enough Doo-Wop. The night before the Crests and Gene Chandler (Nader) show in Fort Lauderdale was spectacular compared to the Bobby Rydel event. Please: more Doo Wop! Bring back the Bellmonts and for sure recruit the Crystals and the Crests and we'll be back happy as can be! Gene Chandler is another to consider - GREAT ACT!! I realize that year by year more Doo Wopp groups and Doo Wopp fans are disappearing but if you get really good and true Doo Wopp acts and really advertise that in South Florida you will pack the house and make a lot of old timers happy!

Enjoyed the show. Wish more of the group's or singer's hit songs were sung. Show lasted almost non stop for 3 hours, great. Shows like this bring back a special part of my life.

The show was fabulous. Hearing these groups brought back wonderful memories. Bobby Rydell was excellent. His Voice is as good as when he was young. The only negative was the problem that they had with the microphones for several of the performers.
