As good as in the 50s. Great entertainer. A must for baby boomers and for the up and coming generations. Great songs. A 10 plus rating. He can still keep a crowd in motion!!! Delightful show.
Great show, Bobby sounded great, sang most of his songs, paid tribute to Sinatra and Darin, my only complaint would be that the show was about 75 minutes, really should have been longer.
Excellent show my husband and I had a wonderful time. Music was outstanding especially songs from Bye Bye Birdie. It was so worth seeing. He still has a wonderful voice. Loved it!

Bobby Rydell is a wonderful entertainer. His voice is still fantastic. Next time he's in town, I'm going again.
Bobby still can sing as good as ever. However, I was dissappointed that he did not sing all of his old songs. I was hoping for an "oldies" show, but his oldies. He did a few. But I thought the Bobby Darin and Frank Sinatra segments were not necessary. To sing his songs he need a vocal group to back him up (like his records) He was a great joke teller. Clean and not in the gutter. The band was great. The venue was not that good. Not acoustically made for musical shows nor is the seating arrangement.
His voice was amazing and he is hysterical with the jokes. It was an early Xmas surprise with my mom and her cousins and we had smiles on our faces the whole time and wiggling in our seats. Only negative was they had some kind of media on a large screen behind the musicians and it was unviewable from our seats on the side which cost the same price as every other seat.
Close your eyes and go back in time. We've all gotten older, but that voice is as good as ever. All ages enjoyed the songs that everyone knew and could sing along with. The screen in back was a nice touch, showing scenes from movies - especially "Bye Bye Birdie". After a standing ovation we all left with a feel good feeling that was priceless. Opening act comedian was very funny!
I saw Bobby Rydell once before but it was as part of Golden Boys of Bandstand with Fabian and Frankie Avalon. The only one of the 3 I wanted to see was Bobby Rydell. Because he was 1/3 of the show, I didn't get to see his full show. I've been waiting years to see him again and have it be the full show. It finally happened on Friday September 17th at the casino in Niagara Falls, N.Y. This was the first time for seeing a concert there. The place has only 444 seats which means that you see great no matter where you sit. I was able to get 3rd row center because I ordered my tickets as soon as they went on sale. I was so looking forward to this show and I wasn't at all disappointed. Even though he is 68 years young, he still sounds great and put on a fantastic show. There are songs that are favorites of mine that he didn't do but that didn't stop me from having a great evening of entertainment. Not only did he perform those wonderful songs but he is also very funny, telling many amusing stories. I was able to meet him after the show. Not only is he a great entertainer but a great human being also. We talked for awhile, he signed everything I put in front of him and he posed for pictures. The one of me and him will be enlarged and in a frame on my wall. I've been a fan since the early 60's and would go see him again anytime he is in this area. If you love the music of the 60's and have never seen him in concert, you owe it to yourself to see his show.
Outstanding show. Brought back many great memories of days gone bye. For being my first time at Bears Den ,, there was not a bad seat in the house.
Bobby Rydell was fantastic as was the comedian before the show. Only fault I have is with the seating we had at the Bears Den. We were in section 1 to the right of the stage. We were so far over that we were not able to see the projected images on the wall behind Bobby Rydell. He showed pictures and movies of his younger days as a singer. Would have made the show that much more enjoyable had we been able to see.
The show was absolutely outstanding. He is the consumate entertainer, and he hasn't lost his voice - he modulated 4 times in Mack the Knife.
