All groups were great but especially liked little Anthony n imperials and bobby rydell. Bobby didn't do as many of his songs but still loved him. I really missed the Bowser but tea notes were awesome. Can't wait to see who is coming next year.
The show was tremendous! Starting with the opening act of Shirley Austin Reeves, to Little Anthony and the Imperials, the Tee Tones, and finally with Bobby Rydel! It was great to hear all their hits and then some. Their voices are still as wonderful as when they were popular through the 50's and 60's.
A most enjoyable evening filled with musical moments of the fifties.
I would have to say that I was disappointed. Compared to the previous two years when Bowser was the Host. You need a host. The sound also was poor and camera man should not be standing in front of the performers. i don't know if we will attend next year.
This was a fantastic show, along with the days events outdoors. I thought this was one of the best oldies shows that the convention center has arranged.
The show was fairly short but he told stories and sang his hits - still hitting the big notes. He looked and sounded great!
Awesome show! He was so funny, sang great. Overall one of the best concerts I've been to.
This was my first time seeing him solo. I loved his tributes to the late, great Bobby Darin and Frank Sinatra. Fantastic show. Seats were close enough you could actually see what he looked like, slightly off center. He stayed center stage the entire time not venturing to the sides. That was the only drawback.
He seemed like he wanted to talk and when it came to singing he sounded great but the hits were overshadowed by his desire to do the Sinatra/Darin songs. 1/3 of concert was just talking... I came for the Music...
Bobby Rydell still has a great voice. And a great sounding band. Also enjoyed his stories about his Italian heritage. Only negative, show was very short, barely one hour long.
Show only lasted barely an hour and did not sing that many of his old hits, only 3. Bobby Vinton a better show
Bobby's voice is still solid at 74. The instrumental musicians were absolutely outstanding. A little disappointed in occasional "PG" language which slightly tarnished a stellar performance but overall a tremendously enjoyable evening.
IF you want to see a classic and classy entertainer---then you need to go to a Bobby Rydell performance. This guy knows how to entertain a crowd!
first half hour was slow..second part of show was better.his choice of songs wasn't the greatest.his voice is still pretty good.
Nice venue at Golden Nugget, Bobby Rydell still sings well, very entertaining concert, nice crowd, he is very well liked and loved by his fans...hope he can perform for a few more years!!!
GREAT show. Bobby sounds wonderful. Totally enjoyed seeing/hearing him.
His performance is incredible. I love the songs he sings beyond his hits as a teenager: Wild One, Wildwood days, Volare. He sings many songs of the era of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and he has a voice that does them justice. His comedic part of the act was so down to earth and hysterical! If you ever get the chance to speak with him, you will be meeting a talented, humble, funny guy who makes you realize he's like one if the guys you grew up with! A gem of a person! Thank you Bobby for letting us enjoy the music of the good old days through you!
Bobby was fantastic. His voice is better than ever and he has a great sense of humor. He had a book signing of his autobiography. Had I known he was selling the book after the show, I wouldn't have pre ordered it on line. I did get to meet him. He was very polite and gracious, not only to me, but to everyone who wanted their book signed.....and always with a great big smile on his face! I would see him many more times. He's my all time favorite teen idol.
Bobby Rydell put on a wonderful show. He sang his greatest hits plus great selections from the American Songbook..where he honored Sinatra and Darrin. Funny and in excellent voice the show was a treat!
Three full hours of a packed show. All the original greats were fantastic. The last hour was a wonderful show by Bobby Rydell ! He still has it! What a great entertainer and showmen. The show was much more than expected!,
