Chris Robinson Brotherhood was great- as expected- and very similar to The Black Crowes. They seemed to really be having a good time. Loved their setlist and would go see them anywhere, anytime.
Ratdog was great as well. Opened with a free-form jam that led in to a well-played Feel Like a Stranger. On to some Minglewood Blues and then a nice nod of the head to Bobby Womack, may he RIP with a good version of "It's All Over Now." Bobby did his best Jerry with a heartfelt "Mission in the Rain" and then Chris Robinson joined the band for a powerful duo of "Hard to Handle" and "Turn on Your Lovelight". Set 1 End.
The 2nd set started with a fun When I Paint My Masterpiece" and a solid "Friend of the Devil." The jam then commenced: "Playing in the Band" into "Terrapin Station" into "Dear Prudence" closing out the set with "Going Down the Road Feeling Bad." Quick
"Touch of Grey" encore and we were off.
Great venue, good vibes, beautiful night and an overall great experience. Thank you Greek Theatre, Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Bob Weir and Ratdog!
