    Good as usual

by chrisr777 on 7/8/14Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara

The Bowl is a great place for a show. We were right up front and Bobby was great as usual. Steve Kimock on guitar is a monster as well. Chris Robinson Brotherhood was almost as good as the opener.

    The joint jam was great

by FrigginOldDude on 7/7/14Greek Theatre - Los Angeles

Chris Robinson was energized and the whole show was when they shared the stage with Bobby. Bill Walton was funny as hell trying to have rhythm. Great show, and vibe!

    Awesome Show

by Velcroandlace on 7/6/14Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara

The music was great starting with the Chris Robinson Brotherhood as the opening act and continuing with Bob Weir and Ratdog. The crowd danced from the pit all the way to the back of the Santa Barbara bowl during both performances. I will definitely go to see both of these performers again.

The band was great, the crowd was awesome, and the venue was super-cool. I'll never willingly miss a Ratdog show.

Ratdog and Chris Robinson Brotherhood at The Greek

by katyfurl on 7/6/14Greek Theatre - Los Angeles

Chris Robinson Brotherhood was great- as expected- and very similar to The Black Crowes. They seemed to really be having a good time. Loved their setlist and would go see them anywhere, anytime. Ratdog was great as well. Opened with a free-form jam that led in to a well-played Feel Like a Stranger. On to some Minglewood Blues and then a nice nod of the head to Bobby Womack, may he RIP with a good version of "It's All Over Now." Bobby did his best Jerry with a heartfelt "Mission in the Rain" and then Chris Robinson joined the band for a powerful duo of "Hard to Handle" and "Turn on Your Lovelight". Set 1 End. The 2nd set started with a fun When I Paint My Masterpiece" and a solid "Friend of the Devil." The jam then commenced: "Playing in the Band" into "Terrapin Station" into "Dear Prudence" closing out the set with "Going Down the Road Feeling Bad." Quick "Touch of Grey" encore and we were off. Great venue, good vibes, beautiful night and an overall great experience. Thank you Greek Theatre, Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Bob Weir and Ratdog!

    Just okay tonight

by Joe50 on 7/6/14Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara

This was my first time seeing Chris Robinson and I really enjoyed his band. Ratdog was just kind of meh tonight. This current version doesn't do it for me as well as the line up from a few years ago.

Show was excellent - seat was crammed!

by topcat63 on 7/5/14Greek Theatre - Los Angeles

I have always enjoyed shows at the Greek Theatre as it is one of the best venues in the US. However, the folks at the Greek seemed to have added another seat in each row of the terrace next to the edge of the overhang. This new seat number "1" (1 for North Terrace, 2 for South Terrace) is crammed right up next to the bars and is very uncomfortable for any human over four feet tall. This has turned what was once a first class seat into something worse than coach! I had seat 1 in row DD for this show and seat 1 in row P for another recent show with the same result - I had to move. I understand the desire to maximize revenue but when the back rows in section C are covered... Please go back to the older configuration!!

    Bobby Just Keeps Getting Better

I have been going to Dead family shows since 1967 in St. Louis. This was a perfect night.

    The Best Night with Ratdog.

by Toffguns on 7/5/14Greek Theatre - Los Angeles

I thought this concert night was perfect and it went off without a hitch. The show started promptly at 8, the bands including CRB sounded great, and it was overall an enjoyable night. It was a night I would do over again in a heartbeat and can't wait to see 'em again next year. Long live Ratdog, my new favorite band!

    Bobby's Still Got It

by hhillsbill on 7/5/14Greek Theatre - Los Angeles

Great new version of Ratdog. Steve Kimmock is at the top of his game. The two bass thing is a nice touch. Rob Wasserman is a master. And Bob is sounding better than ever.

It was a classic concert the band was fantastic. It was a great mix of newer BobWeir songs in the first set mixed with great Dead songs after intermission. Lots of tie dye t shirts in the crowd I hadn't been to the Greek in years it was a really enjoyable evening all around

Bob Weir and Ratdog is ALWAYS outstanding!

by melissacwp on 7/5/14Greek Theatre - Los Angeles

If you ever get the chance to see this legend, DO IT. Always a fabulous show no matter who is joining him. The man rocks for HOURS and never seems to run out of energy. Every show is different, always varied songs and the jams are the best.

Another fun but forgettable show from Weir ...

by LASaguaro on 7/5/14Greek Theatre - Los Angeles

Ho hum set list. They played well. But an entire show of Weir singing can be a bit much. When Chris Robinson joined him, it was sad to see Weir trying to match him musically and energetically. He wanted to. He just couldn't do it. Personally, I would rather have heard more songs than long periods of pointless jamming. The sound system sounded clear and loud. Don't get me wrong ... Weir was as good as he could be and the band played well together. But this wasn't as good as Furthur.

    Bob Weir and Ratdog

by Knickerbocker85 on 6/14/14DeVos Performance Hall - Grand Rapids

Absolutely a great show. Over three hours of music. I will look for Ratdog again!!! Long jams and Dead Tunes. DeVos was a great place to see this show. I am actually sort of speechless it was that good. First experience for my Son to see any show related to the Grateful Dead and he was amazed. Rock On Bobby!

Bobby and the Boys were having fun!

by Drock58 on 6/13/14DeVos Performance Hall - Grand Rapids

Although a slower tempo show than the last one I saw, this show was none the less played well and Bobby appeared to be having fun up there. The venue was real nice and chill... a good place to catch a show, but from the 8th row what venue isn't?! Peace!
