Bluey Live was great but there definitely is room for improvement for nuerodiverse families. Like maybe a quiet room or something.
This was very entertaining for the kids, especially the very end with the bubbles and "Keepy Uppy".. As for the play the people standing behind the "Dolls"or "Puppets"was a little strange. Every adult i spoke with said the same thing, it should have been either someone in a costume or a Puppet where you can't see the people controlling them. Also 50 mins was extremely short for the price. Not even a full hour?
Waste of time & money. Took more time to get to the theater, park and get to our seats that the length of the show. The entire production was 45 minutes in length including balloon bouncing for 5 minutes and swans for another 2 at the beginning. My grandchild ask will Bluey come out as a person in a costume? And instead there were puppeteers in green standing behind waist high stuffed animals, moving their limbs and mouths and carrying or dragging them around stage. Parents & Grandparents all left saying "are you kidding me? 45 minutes, no real plot, & puppeteers who simply carried the puppets around. And we had to buy souvenirs too?"The cost of tickets were almost $90 pp. While the kids liked it because they saw a Bluey stuffed animal talking to them, it should have had a intermission with a second Bluey adventure. Sorry but as many parents said, "what a rip off."
We brought 4 kids who love Bluey on TV ages 6-11. Nobody enjoyed it. Inaudible. Incomprehensible. Shorter than the 50 minutes advertised. Total waste of time and money.
Very disappointed. I literally spent more time looking for parking than the actual show. Would not recommend
Grandson enjoyed it which made it acceptable. Now grandpa wasn’t too happy. At $500 for the visit, the show started at 11:10 and ended at 11:50. Forty minutes! I thought it was an intermission until I saw no one was coming back. lol, my bad! The show was ok but nothing to write home about. The sound was poor. Difficult to understand, clarity was poor. I’m familiar with Bluey and was disappointed in the show.
This was one of my favorite theatre experiences. The puppeteers were superb at their craft. I don’t want to give any of the contact away but GO! GET YOUR TICKETS! This one will keep smiling, reflecting and possibly repairing. We loved it!
My 2 year old daughter is obsessed with bluey so I knew she would love it. I didn’t have any expectations for myself. I was a bit apprehensive that adults were not dressed up as the characters but used them as puppets instead and how that would be viewed from my seat. I sat in the balcony and even though I could see the adults/actors behind the bluey characters they were so into the movement of the show that it didn’t bother me! They truly brought each character to life. My daughter was enthralled the entire hour performance.
This was the most obvious cash grab attempt I've seen. The production was extremely low quality. "Puppets"were just people standing behind big plushies. All the sound and dialogue was pre recorded. Honestly just save yourself the money and time and rewatch some Bluey episodes.
This was a great show for littles the 50min time was perfect for their attention span. I think any longer and they would’ve been nap time meltdowns lol
