Too short & people holding stuffies

by debee on 5/22/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

My granddaughter could not understand why people were "holding"the large stuffed animals. I thought it would be people in costumes. After 45 minutes they started saying goodbye and I said to my seat mate, I wonder how long intermission is and she replied, it's only a 50 minute show? I wouldn't recommend for the price.

    Depreciating Value

by Enrico Pallazzo on 5/22/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

Overall the show was a great experience for my two kids, who are 6 and 9, and both love Bluey. High enjoyment level with fun interaction at the end, which the kids absolutely enjoyed and is paramount However, I was surprised about how short the production was at about 45 minutes. A bit short on value for price of admission.

    Too short.

by Grace on 5/22/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

Overall I think I was expecting an episode of Bluey and or more main characters. My daughter was looking for Lucky since Lucky's Dad came out and the amount of money paid for the tickets the show was wayyy wayyy to short . It was only a 45min show and for it to be at the Wang Theater I was expecting a better performance and longer show .

    So entertaining

by Shan on 5/21/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

We'll done! At First I wasn't sure about having people behind the characters but it's like a large puppet show without the strings. My granddaughter loved it and so did I!

    Short

by leopardgirl0123 on 5/21/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

The play was cute but it was a bit short for the price. At the end they released balls into the audience to play keepy uppy but none ever made it to our row which resulted in all the kids crying.

    Not what I expected

by GrandmaD on 5/21/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

I did not know that there would be humans behind the characters controlling their movements. I don’t know why they didn’t just have people in the costumes. It was a distraction watching humans jumping all over the stage.

    Very sweet and fun show

by LK on 5/21/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

Bluey's Big Play was a very sweet and fun show. My 3 yr. old granddaughter absolutely loved it! We paid for the VIP Meet and Greet tickets, and it was worth it. The show is only about 45 minutes long, which is perfect for young children.

    It’s a glorified puppet show

by Cris on 5/21/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

Took my 3 kids to see Bluey’s big play- ages 2, 4 and nearly 6… essentially what this is is a puppet show. The characters are strapped on to a person controlling them and what’s annoying is they are not trying to conceal the person. They’re wearing bright green and bouncing all over the stage. My oldest was upset about it. The other 2 didn’t see to mind. The puppets and props are nicely done. As well as the audio being the actual show voices. The stage was a little bare though. It was a good length for little kids- about 50 minutes. Storyline was typical of a show. Overall cute, but disappointed in the puppeteers being part of the show.

    Extremely short

by AAA on 5/21/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

The show was half the length of any other children’s play we have been to. Very disappointing to spend this kind of money for a 40minute performance.

    Fun & creative

by B.Nice on 5/21/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - Boston

Bluey's Big Play was sweet, delightful, fun & funny. Felt brief at 50 minutes, but that was fine. The puppetry and artistry was really creative and uplifting. Felt like we were supporting a cool form of art and expression!

    Amazing

It was a blast for the family! My daughter had the best time! Run time was perfect to keep her attention plus the way the performers made it so much fun!

    Too short for price!!

by Bluey on 5/19/24The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

Show was great, but only 45 minutes. Tickets were way over priced for such a short show. Paid over 200 for 3 tickets.

    Reviews are accurate

    by Diaz on 5/19/24

Cute show, but very short. Should have read the reviews. It’s worth it if you buy the $25 ticket and you don’t mind sitting way in the back. I dropped almost $200 on tickets for a better view and the show was only about 50 minutes long in total. I expected it to run at least an hour, or just over. Around 45 minutes they begin a little encore portion by playing “keepy uppy” with the audience which is great if the balloons make it your way and you get to participate. Merch was pricey as expected. I was more disappointed with the length of the show. Not worth it.

Great experience but the time 👎

by Elicaridura on 5/18/24The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

When I bought the ticket it said it was a 2 hour show even though the show was amazing and we enjoyed it to the fullest my kids were happy I in the other hand expected a 2 hour show not an hour. I think that for an hour show I would of not bought the tickets..

    Bluey Play House

by Mary L. on 5/18/24The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

It was a fun interactive show. While it was puppets it was done very professionally. The kids loved it! Worth the amount I paid. One downside is the cost of the merchandise. They really don’t need to charge that much. A small Bluey or Bingo was $25. The tee shirt was $35 and the spinner light up was $25. Crazy prices and of course the kids what them.

    Extremely short!

by Lolli & Pop B. on 5/18/24The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

We were very much looking forward to taking our 4 yr old granddaughter by ourselves to this event. Super excited as Bluey is a favorite show of hers. It was a little hard to hear it understand the words in the beginning. But the most disheartening thing was it started 10 minutes after the 6 o’clock start time and by 6:55 it was over! everyone thought it was intermission. When we went out to get a pretzel, the stand was closed and people started filing out of the theater saying the show was over! I was told this age group has a small attention span, but that certainly was not true of everyone. I’m sure patents who purchased tickets with very small children knew they might not be able to sit through the whole thing? But it was certainly not worth the value of almost $100 per ticket for less than an hour. Long show. Definitely enjoyed what we did see :-)
