BLUES TRAVELER SHOULD'VE BEEN BETTER...
by MAUIWOWIE on 9/16/15Variety Playhouse - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5I was really expecting a lot from this band, bu was really disappointed. John, the lead singer, was fantastic on harmonica, but was visibly drunk. He had several solo cups and turned his back to the audience more than I have ever seen from any other performer. I go to a lot of concerts, and the stage hand is never seen unless the house is burning down (someone needs new guitar strings, etc.) Last night, the stage hand was used as the band's personal bartender; bringing them out drinks every song. Why in the world do you need a 5-minute-long keytar solo? The synthesizer was way too loud, and the jamming was just too much. I love listening to Blues Traveler, but last night failed.
