Ok- not amazing. Glad we went. Wouldn’t go again. Can’t submit review.
I loved the energy, the music and the show!!! Blue Man Group is a must see!
Attended with 3 adults and 2 eight-year-olds. This was the highlight of our trip to Chicago. Such a talented group, and the audience interaction was fun. There's not a bad seat in the theater, although I would not want to sit on the balcony. For the best view of the stage, probably sit about 5 rows back from the stage or farther. Our kids keep making drum noises and tapping on random things now trying to reenact the Blue Man Group. Don't arrive late!
Great show! My daughter and I loved the show. But please put a bottom age limit - there were 2 small children who sat behind me and kicked my chair or talked through the entire thing. Not cool!
Theatre is small with great views of show. House band is talented, we loved their neon attire! Performers were very interactive with the audience, even during covid which was nice! Show was funny and upbeat. The guys are quite talented just a great vibe.
Nonstop entertainment! Something was always happening on stage or in the audience.
Loved the music - drumming and band. The skits were a little corny but got laughs. All in all a good show.
This was my third or fourth time seeing the Blue Man Group at Briar Street Theater, and it was my first time taking my kids. The show is fun, funny, interactive, and the music is great! There have been changes made to the show/acts along the way, and this particular show was my favorite so far. The theater is always clean, it’s the perfect sized venue for this show, and I appreciate the current mask requirement as well.
I saw the show 30 years ago.. and was completely entertained ! The show is still running and it’s something that I thought my 14 year-old son would like. Well, They didn’t disappoint.. they made some changes that bought the show to the present time, with the same super energy and entertainment... twists, and surprises.. My son and I both enjoyed it very much, and I’ll say it is a must see for the young and old .. A great fun show...
For Christmas i don't buy presents. They get experiences. This year it was a train ride to chicago for 2 days. There are 11 of us. Your event was a hit. Our ages range from 9 to 72. Thank you for a family friendly experience that had us all in stitches. I laughed so much my face hurt. 9 of us had never seen Blue Man Group, but 2 had so they knew what to expect. The best review would be theirs when they stated this event was excellent. The whole experience was good. Don't fix it. It's not broken.
My family (me, husband, 13 year old son) had such a great time at this show. It is very interactive, very entertaining, and very messy for the first 3 rows. I got called up on stage for a skit, and it was very exciting and fun. I highly recommend this show. Real family fun.
Took the grandkids and they loved every minute. One got to go up on stage which I am sure she will always remember. Very interactive.
Many broadway shows were closed so we did not have many options. Was not impressed. Corny funny just wasn’t my cup of tea. Drumming was good that was it.. no more blue man for me
It was absolutely incredible !!! We loves the show !!!
11 family members had a blast with Blue Man! So fun and whimsical! Great rhythms, cool effects, funny with audience participation. We had so much to talk about over dinner afterwards! The kids started practicing catching marshmallows in their mouths the next day, lol!
Love ❤️ the way the blue men interacted with the audience. Love ❤️ the band. They played their butts off. My wife and I had a ball.
This is the second time my husband and I go. The first time was during the summer of 2015/2016. It was a nice Christmas touch this time around. We didn’t remember the whole show so it was almost like we’ve never seen it before. We laughed, genuinely clapped. Loved the engagement between the audience and the Blue Man Group. It’s an interesting and entertaining show. Love how they call out the late arrivals, so don’t come late!!! Lol. We’re actually planning on going again. We took an edible this time, which was even better.
I expected to see a more human performance, more drums, paint, and tubes, not so much screen entertainment.
Went there with my older grandson who is the age my son was when we saw it first time. I am glad it did survive and still draws public. It is "much ado about nothing", but so well done - creative and entertaining. Mix of clown, mimes, music, visual effects. I enjoyed it myself in addition to through my grandson's eyes. In fact my son asked for any pictures from the show. I could not make them, but may be a good idea to go with him again some day.
