  • BlueMan Group was hilarious!

    by Ateam7905 on 11/7/11ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 4 out of 5

I couldn't believe how funny they were! I didn't know what to expect, because I had never seen them before, other than the typical music video on youtube. So, I was under the impression, they just played music....but they really entertained in other ways as well. My face/cheeks hurt from laughing/smiling so much!

  • Go See Them!

Blue Man Group is thoroughly entertaining for ALL ages and whatever you pay for the tickets is totally worth it. The only negative was that they did not allow the use of cameras.

Very similar to the Vegas show, if not the same. Overall, a very fun, entertaining show. If you've seen the Vegas version, don't go to the touring version expecting to see much difference. But if you haven't seen it at all, definitely check it out.

  • Blue Man Group great as always!

    by Sher1224 on 11/7/11ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

This is the 4th time I've seen BMG and it didn't disappoint! There were some changes to the performance in this venue, but the core show I love was still there. My only disappointment was that I didn't know they were in town and didn't get tiks until too late and had to sit in row 24, lol!

  • Blue Man Group was awesome!

    by educator10 on 11/7/11ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

The Blue Man group was so good! They used so much special effects, it was amazing! They way they played their "instruments" was excellent! Their acting was great! It is hard to explain how great it was. Anyone would like it, kids to mature adults!

  • Good but not spectacular

    by DanTheMan999 on 11/7/11ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 4 out of 5

I love Blue Man Group and try to attend any performance that comes to Phoenix. I took my son to see the group for the first time and he absolutely loved it. Having been to other performances, I would have preferred more music intermingled within the skits. The coordination between the graphics and the live performers was a little off and that is the first time I have seen that happen at any of the performances. Also, we sat on the end and it was very hard to see part of the end skit. I know they have to work around limitations of the stage but this is something that made me not be able to say it was amazing.

  • Blue Man Group

This show was AMAZING!!! Fun for the whole family. We went for my husband's birthday and took our two children. We all enjoyed if very much and would love to see them again. If you can afford to get the more expensive seats, I would highly recommend them. They come out into the audience.

  • Lots of fun

by AZMonkey on 11/7/11ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 4 out of 5

The show engages the crowd since the very beginning. Jokes are very funny, family oriented and they have a great production. It was a great show.

  • Blue Man was good but...

by BlueinPhx on 11/7/11ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 4 out of 5

They can skip the non-music skits. The dinner scene was too long and un-interesting without music integrated into it. I love the innovative and creative music. That's why I go.

Good solid family fun! Nothing racy, super funny and good for all ages.

  • Blue Man with family Rocks

    by DesertDog1 on 11/6/11ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

Great show. Family friendly (atleast 5 years old & above). Can get very loud at times. Good mix of music, visual, & humor.

My 15 year old daughter and I went for the first time and LOVED it!

  • Great!

by RebeccainTempe on 11/6/11ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 3 out of 5

I always love the Blue Man Group, It was funny, quircky, with great music. I wish there was MORE music however...more playing of their different percussion instruments and less of the complete silent skits they do.

  • Blue Man worth seeing

by CJKjer on 11/6/11ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

The group is enjoyable, entertaining and audience interacting.

  • Blue Man Group was AWESOME!

by Amethysthummingbird on 11/6/11ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

I was completely and pleasantly surprised by this show! I was expecting to hear music but had no idea they were so funny! I would recommend you buy tickets on the Orchestra level and in the first two rows for this show if you can get them. When you are in the balcony you can't see what is going on behind the performers which detracts from the performance.

  • Blue Man Group funny!!

    by ljsflute1 on 11/6/11ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 4 out of 5

They were extremely funny and entertaining. However, as a musician, I would have liked to hear a whole lot more music!!! In my mind, that's what made them who they are...the PVC pipes and awesome musical innovations!!

  • Not what they used to be

    by Jen63nambi on 11/6/11ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 2 out of 5

We've seen Blue Man Group before and this was in general a disappointment. Audience participation is a great idea, unless you have 'duds' from the audience...which is what happened. Boring.... Capn Crunch was just gross and dumb. Some bits ...like the paint/water and giant balls were fabulous. The dance moves were fun, but why not incorporate those into the 'butts' dance at the end....it would have made the end more fun instead of monotonous. Blue Man used to be a riot because of their expressions....gone. Threesome interaction was poor. Some great beats, some good laughs, but overall, not what they used to be.

  • Amazing as always!!
