Blippi The Musical on Stage
Blippi The Musical is a two-act comedy about a boy named Blippi who loves to play in the world while taking his viewers along for the ride. He inspires kids to explore their environment with curiosity and creativity, teaching them about responsibility through song and play. Stevin John is the original creative force behind Blippi, whose energetic, childlike persona is portrayed in thickly framed glasses, a blue button-down shirt, bright orange suspenders, bow tie, and cap to match. John wrote, acted, filmed, edited, produced and shared Blippi's first episodes on YouTube in 2014. The videos quickly became an obsession among kids between the ages of 2 and 6 years old, and the parents who discover Blippi in search of wholesome kids' content on the internet also appreciate John's safe material. The show's popularity amassed billions of view counts as Blippi catapulted into the limelight. John would eventually sign a master toy deal with Jazwares LLC and sell his edu-tainment program to Moonbug Entertainment, who partnered with Virgin Media to distribute the show in the United Kingdom. It's now dubbed in Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, German, Arabic, and Hebrew, and the spin-off show, "Blippi's Treehouse," began airing on Amazon Kids+ in 2021. I loved the live show, my kid was up, jumping and dancing. She was very excited. But we were expecting the “real ones” or at least the ones that appeared on the show. It was a new Blippi and a new Meekah… My daughter noticed this, I would have given 5 starts…. Everything else was great.
The whole experience was dope but everything including the food down to the bottles water which was $6 was hella over priced.
My kids LOVE blippi! But they were not to interactive in this show. Beside that 20min break when it had just started is insane! But I understand they need a break from all that dancing.
False advertising. When i bought tickets there was no clear message it would be someone else acting as Blippi.
My baby brother had a good time but paying money for just a hour in a half is crazy but we are TeamBlippi still just would of been nice for a longer show
It was fun and nice. But overall I don’t think it was worth what we paid.
The show was good, but I expected the authentic Blippi. I felt cheated.
We loved watching my granddaughter enjoying the show! She wanted to see more of Meekah! I wish it was in a smaller venue so the children could be closer and feel a more personal connection. I also wish it was not during most kids nap times!! You should have offered an early (11) and a later (4) show.
The show itself was great. The kids really loved it. However the Fox Performing arts venue had a few issues. The line to get in was very long and around the block. However once the doors opened it moved fairly well. The concession areas were not well organized and took a long time. There should be a separate line for alcohol beverage sales and popcorn etc. why was alcohol even served at a kids show anyway? Plus a can of water was $6. Pricey.
We totally loved it! So worth it! I was even excited they gave us a break in the middle, needs to let people know if they can bring their own snacks. Best show for kids!
