BLEACHERS IN CONCERT:

Indie pop outfit Bleachers is the latest project from Jack Antonoff, the talented singer and songwriter best known for his work with the band Fun. With Bleachers, Antonoff builds on the anthemic pop sound that elevated Fun to superstar status by expanding his palette to include more electronic textures and cutting-edge production techniques. Fun is known for performances that live up to their name, and Antonoff's live show with Bleachers is no different. Ticket buyers will see fan favorites like "I Wanna Get Better" and "Like a River Runs" get the full live treatment as Bleachers hits the road in 2014 for a string of highly anticipated festival appearances.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

New Jersey-born Jack Antonoff began working on his side project Bleachers while on the road with indie superstars Fun in early 2013. For nearly a year he kept the project under wraps until he launched his debut single "I Wanna Get Better" in February 2014. The track peaked at No. 2 on the US Alternative Songs chart, generating significant buzz around the project. Antonoff has stated that he remains fully committed to Fun, and plans to work around that band's schedule as he begins to tour in support of Bleachers. With his debut full-length Strange Desire hitting shelves in 2014, Antonoff has Bleachers fans chomping at the bit to catch him at his upcoming shows.

Walk The Moon spiritually moved me

by danielLongster on 12/20/14The National - Richmond

Overall, amazing. The opening band was really cool and was great. Glad I was exposed to them. Loved how Richmond-y it felt. Walk The Moon got the whole place bumping and made my life amazing. I'm never going to forget that experience. Bleachers killed it. I'd never heard them before That Wednesday and I regret it because I love their sound. Thank you XL 102 for this miracle. Next time have Walk The Moon play MORE

    I LOVE WALK THE MOON!!!!!

by Anonymous on 12/20/14The National - Richmond

I went to this show to see WALK THE MOON and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! My only complaint is that they did not play for longer. My friends and I went into this concert expecting them to close the show since they have been around for longer and have more music than Bleachers. But they still rocked and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise that they went first because my friend ended up slipping and spraining her ankle while Bleachers was playing and we had to leave early. We still heard some of Bleachers (Rollercoaster, Shadows, songs I love.) They even covered Fleetwood Mac! I dug the opening band, Prinze George, too. I may look into some of their music. All in all a Fun. concert! Pun intended (Jack Antonoff of Bleachers is in the band Fun.)

Great show Bleachers and Walk the Moon killed it

by BizarroSpur on 12/20/14The National - Richmond

Bleachers played a high energy set but I think Walk the Moon had a better overall set. Would like to have seen WTM played last but either way it was a great show.

    Bleachers was flawless

by Anonymous on 11/28/14Paradise Rock Club - Boston

I had seen Fun. a few years prior but I was towards the back and couldn't see much. I was amazed with how close I was able to get and the energy that jack antonoff and the rest of the band emitted to the audience. I wish I had more storage in my phone to take more videos. Post concert depression is hitting me like a brick

Bleachers + Wild Cub = AMAZEBALLS!

by nonijuice on 10/31/14Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

So, lucky for us, Atlanta was the first stop on the tour for (the) Bleachers. They really started their tour off right. Wild Cub was an amazing opening act and complimented the overall sound of the show really well. They had a lot of different drums, and other instruments, and everybody moved around a lot and played them all which was really really cool to see such versatility from a band! Bleachers also did a fantastic job. They basically played all of "Strange Desire" + a couple covers. Vocals and everything were ON. POINT. I had such a great time!! Thanks 105.7! ^_^

Best show I've been to all year. Love Bleachers and Wild Cub. This was my first time at Center Stage and I was impressed - plenty of seating if you want to sit and very well organized. I hope 105.7 does this again next year.

    Bleachers

by cuddlybaer11 on 9/4/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - Philadelphia

I've been to a lot of the block parties, since last summer I've only missed one of them, and this one definitely earned a spot in my personal top 3! Although I wish the performance was on the other stage I had so much fun with the crowd and the artists.

    Jack Antonoff is excellent

by LemonGerard on 8/29/14Saint Andrews Hall - Detroit

Bleachers was great, as was MisterWives. The whole show was very intimate because we were super close to the stage. I wish it had been a little longer.

Bleachers and Misterwives blew me away!

by Allnamesweretaken on 8/23/14Deluxe at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Such an amazing concert. The groups were interactive with the audience and enjoyable to watch. The Bleachers sound just the same as they do on their cd if not better. I would definitely recommend seeing both groups. Such an enjoyable show. Thighs for days. :)

Bleachers first show sets high standards!

by smhIN on 8/23/14Deluxe at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

The Bleachers concert in Indy from their first tour was unreal. Songs were played in order of their listing on the album except for two songs that were saved for the encore and one song was not played. Jack lived mixed "Like a River Runs" and it was awesome. He was so grateful and appreciative of the fan base who turned out for this show and took time to talk with us between songs. So far in 2014 I have been to 10+ concerts including OneRepublic, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Punch Brothers, Andrew Ripp, Gemini Club, The Oh Hellos, and several others who have been touring much longer than Bleachers, but this show was the best. Beginning to end it was a great, fun show and I'll definitely be seeing them next time around.

    Awesome show!!

by ShrubDub on 8/7/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - Philadelphia

I was brought to the venue as a Bleachers fan, but Jukebox the Ghost was pretty good too. Overall, radio 104.5 had a great lineup and I had an awesome time. Thanks Radio 104.5!
