Blackberry Smoke on Tour
Though they've had their biggest success in the country market, the guys in Blackberry Smoke are rock 'n' rollers at heart. When they hit the concert stage, that becomes immediately apparent, but of course, so does the twangy side of their sound. Ultimately, what comes across is a roots-rocking blend that incorporates the influences of classic Southern rock, '70s/'80s heartland rockers and yes, a dash of modern country. And whether they're delivering a chugging good-time tune like "Rock and Roll Again" or a reflective ballad like "Let Me Down Easy," what comes through the loudest is the band's authenticity. These ol' boys are the real deal, playing it their own way with no nonsense and no rock-star moves. And since they do exactly what they feel, don't be surprised if that extends to covers of songs by their favorite artists such as Little Feat, The Grateful Dead or Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Blackberry Smoke in Concert
Blackberry Smoke has always done things their own way, rising to stardom by building an audience from the ground up, remaining resolutely independent and staying true to their roots. The band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000, with singer/guitarist Charlie Starr, guitarist Paul Jackson, and brothers Richard and Brit Turner on bass and drums, respectively, and that lineup remained intact into their breakthrough and beyond, adding keyboardist Brandon Still in 2009. They released their debut album, Bad Luck Ain't No Crime, in 2003, but it wasn't until their third album, 2012's The Whippoorwill, that Blackberry Smoke started achieving major commercial traction. Their next record, 2015's Holding All the Roses, reached No. 1 on the country charts as well as No. 29 on the pop tally, underscoring the band's pan-genre appeal. Their homegrown blend of Southern rock and country has remained authentic and untainted through it all.
Who says rock & roll is dead!! These guys play with a passion and can rock like like it's the 1970's. They easily make the transitions from a "george Jones" feel to Led Zeppelin!! This band has plenty of grit and play rugged country/rock !!!!! YOU MUST SEE THEM!!!!!
They kill it every single time they play! Set list was great, couple new songs on their set like Wishing on one hand, Payback's a Bitch, and a couple older songs I haven't heard them play before
Great venue, plenty of room, not oversold. Opener was good, wish the lead would've played that Dobro he was wearing for decoration though. Blackberry Smoke rocked out. They were great, just crankin out the hits one after another. It was also LOUD. Dont miss them if they're headed your way.

Acoustics were phenomenal . Both bands were great. Blackberry smoke just had a wonderful energy and sound!

Great show . These guys are as good or better live than on record . Sound was great . Opening acts while pretty good , were just too mellow when you're amped up for someone like Smoke . The Tabernacle is one of my favorite places to see a show .

First time checking out BlackBerry Smoke and this is one super good band,the best band Ive heard in along time,lots of great music and people a great show all the way around,The smoke are a must see if you like good stuff
Blackberry Smoke was the best concert for us in YEARS. And their CDs are awesome. We will definitely try to make their concert anytime they come back to our neck of the wood.
I have seen Blackberry Smoke 3 times in the past year and each time has been an amazing and thoroughly enjoyable experience. They have always been at the top of their game, never a disappointment. The venue was excellent as well. The staff at the L'Auberge were friendly and courteous. The stage was outdoor by the pool and the acoustic were spot on no matter where you were at! I would recommend Blackberry Smoke to anyone. People of all ages would love them. They are hardworking, down to earth, what you see is what you get Southern Rockers and they are worth every penny and more. I personally don't think they charge enough per ticket they are certainly capable of getting more because they are true musicians in every sense of the word.

BlackBerry Smoke was great. The best part of the night was the opening band. Americana band The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit was amazing. Lots of complex solos and well written catchy songs. Definitely a band to keep your eye on.
From start to finish, Blackberry Smoke wow'd their fans and kept them rocking throughout their performance at The Fillmore in San Francisco. Always amazing, be sure to get your tickets to see Blackberry Smoke if they are within your time zone!
Amazing venue, amazing Blackberry Smoke equals an amazing Fillmore memory that can be passed on to my grandchildren. Blackberry Smoke was perfect. They really rocked the house. They mixed in some Zepplin's "When the levee breaks" and various Allman Brothers classics. with their own music. Caught everyone by surprise with a great smile on ones face when you heard the lead riff for the Midnight Rider. Beautiful leads even took on the sound of Jerry Garcia and right there at the Fillmore. I would go again and again and again... If Skynyrd took it to the next level, I think Blackberry Smoke is already there. NIce to hear some fresh new sounds from the South..
Blackberry Smoke is awesome to say the least. They have a powerful sound that is utterly unforgettable.
I was totally blown away by their show in Tempe, AZ. The sound was great, crowd was rowdy and they WERE ON! Where did the opening band, Psychedelic Mooj, come from? They hit the stage full-force and rocked like I've never seen from an opening act. I guess when you get your chance you go all-out and Psychedelic Mooj did!
