Blackberry Smoke on Tour
Though they've had their biggest success in the country market, the guys in Blackberry Smoke are rock 'n' rollers at heart. When they hit the concert stage, that becomes immediately apparent, but of course, so does the twangy side of their sound. Ultimately, what comes across is a roots-rocking blend that incorporates the influences of classic Southern rock, '70s/'80s heartland rockers and yes, a dash of modern country. And whether they're delivering a chugging good-time tune like "Rock and Roll Again" or a reflective ballad like "Let Me Down Easy," what comes through the loudest is the band's authenticity. These ol' boys are the real deal, playing it their own way with no nonsense and no rock-star moves. And since they do exactly what they feel, don't be surprised if that extends to covers of songs by their favorite artists such as Little Feat, The Grateful Dead or Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Blackberry Smoke in Concert
Blackberry Smoke has always done things their own way, rising to stardom by building an audience from the ground up, remaining resolutely independent and staying true to their roots. The band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000, with singer/guitarist Charlie Starr, guitarist Paul Jackson, and brothers Richard and Brit Turner on bass and drums, respectively, and that lineup remained intact into their breakthrough and beyond, adding keyboardist Brandon Still in 2009. They released their debut album, Bad Luck Ain't No Crime, in 2003, but it wasn't until their third album, 2012's The Whippoorwill, that Blackberry Smoke started achieving major commercial traction. Their next record, 2015's Holding All the Roses, reached No. 1 on the country charts as well as No. 29 on the pop tally, underscoring the band's pan-genre appeal. Their homegrown blend of Southern rock and country has remained authentic and untainted through it all.

Blackberry Smoke was fantastic! The venue is really nice. The opening band went on a little too long, in our opinion. They were more a head banger kind of music, so a matter of taste, than performance. Peace
One of the best concerts I have ever attended. Blackberry Smoke brought their A-game as always and when paired with Sweetwater's state of the art sound system, it was a night to remember.
The band was amazing great show. I would have to say I’m a little disappointed with the vip tickets since I wasn’t able to access the tickets in my ticketmaster app and the casino does not have a will call to pick up tickets. Was worried I wouldn’t have a ticket I waited to get into the show which I would have liked to go back to my room to drop off my autographed poster to keep it from getting damaged.
They were so amazing. Great music. Great time. Will definately see them again. They really put on a great show.
We drove 8 hours to see the Blackberry Smoke for the 3’rd time and were not disappointed. Everything went smoothly from the ticket purchase to the hotel stay. Can’t wait for their return to this area!…
Blackberry Smoke put on their usual great show at the Ho-Chunk casino. Sang all their best songs. I was blown away. Even my sister became a big fan that day.
Good seats for cheap. Great sound. Reasonable priced drinks. Good merch. Charlie and the band were amazing. Very interactive and I think Charlie had the best vocals I have heard from him. Please book that venue again! I'll get front row seats next time. This was a great concert and decent accommodations. Wish Ho Chunk resort had a breakfast restaurant.
This one of the best shows we have seen in a long while. We are new to Blackberry Smoke but have seen 100s of concerts. High energy and engaged with the audience. Lots of fun!!!

Fabulous band, great choice of songs performed, they sounded just wonderful. Wish they would have interacted with the audience more. Venue seating was tight, but sufficient. Would absolutely see this band over and over again!

This is one of the best touring bands in the world. Their performance and energy combined with the beautiful venue made for a magical evening. I have followed BlackBerry smoke for 15 years and they continue to write and perform at the highest level.
An excellent concert with a great crowd, seen a couple times, always lots of fun, great music, talented and great band, recommend as a must see.
