Blackbear in Concert
Blackbear's high-energy shows direct the spotlight onto his moody, emotional R&B jams. A jack of all trades in the music business, he also shows off his many talents in concert, hopping behind the keyboard stand and picking up guitars while hitting his signature high notes. Pairing simple yet effective video treatments with his gritty music, Blackbear's concerts are a feast for all the senses ā and feelings.
Blackbear Background
Blackbear has been a force on the pop charts since 2012, when he co-wrote Justin Bieber's chart-topping smash "Boyfriend." In the following years he carved out a name for himself as one of pop-R&B's power players by collaborating with heavy hitters like fellow "Boyfriend" cowriter Mike Posner, hip-pop powerhouse G-Eazy and rap-rock superstars Linkin Park. The man behind Blackbear, Mat Musto, was born in Pennsylvania in 1990. He began his music career in Florida in his teens as the vocalist for the pop-punk band Polaroid, but shifted his focus in the early 2010s to the emotionally resonant R&B he's known for these days. He self-released his 2015 debut Deadroses, which included the G-Eazy team-up "90210," and followed it with another self-released album, Help. Eventually he signed to Interscope, releasing his gold-certified third album, Digital Druglord, in 2017 and Anonymous in April 2019, which featured the singles "1 Sided Love" and "High1X." Blackbear has remained extremely productive over the years, co-writing for Nick Jonas and Mike Shinoda as well as producing releases by Gnash and Tyler Carter in addition to his own touring and recording.
Previously, Blackbear has brought crowds to capacity at the likes of The Fillmore (Minneapolis), The Fillmore (Detroit) and the Coca-Cola Roxy (Atlanta).

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MAN WAS AMAZING! 10/10 SHOW AMAZINGGGGG. MEETING HIM AMAZINGGGGG. PLACE AMAZINGGGGG.
Iāve been going to concerts for over 20 years now and I donāt think Iāve ever been to a show that was over there early as this one. I donāt like to get to a show before nine or 10 oāclock because you typically see some local act or lousy openers Unless promoted otherwise. I got to the show at about 955 to see blackbear play his last song. I guess all I can say is get there early.
Awesome live performer. Actually sings and doesnāt just yell over his own music like karaoke.
blackbear puts on the BEST concerts I have ever been to. he engages so much with his fans on stage so you're singing with him, it's such an incredible experience. he's so energetic and it's so much fun being in the audience, and you can tell he enjoys it just as much as the fans because he is always grinning from cheek to cheek. he sounds (and looks) even more beautiful in person and since he does not play his music in the background you can tell it's a 100% raw performance, vocals and instruments and all. even if you don't listen to a whole lot of blackbear, I completely recommend you go to one because it will fall in love with him and his music.
let me tell you this show was breath taking from the opener to the end. The crowd was beautiful and the music was amazing.
Had to stand in the rain for over an hour because they had only 4 people checking in. Full of 16 years on molly. A couple of adults that were there with there 13 years....shout-out to good parents! Blackbear itself had great show and Elohim was the best. Just bad crowd vibes...sorry fam
It was so amazing,, 10 times better than red rocks when i saw him last. and the openers were so amazing as well
The building itself was very nice and neat, but there was no ventilation near the front. I spent money to get in earlier so I was like 4 rows from the stage. Before anyone got to perform it was already hot and muggy. I barely could stand it up there and my girlfriend couldnāt, she passed out on me and I had to get her out of there. Also thanks for everyone who just watched and didnāt bother to help. But once we got to the back of the room it was much cooler. Besides the lights almost giving me a seizure, it was a great concert!
Blackbear is a natural performer and put on a really great show.
This was the best concert I have ever been to! It was a little unorganized but it was definitely worth it! No doubt. I have wanted to see Bear for a really long time and finally go to! I did the meet and greets and it was worth it!
The show was amazing and the openers were dope. There was plenty of standing room.
Blackbear did an amazing job as an entertainer. His voice sounded so so good live. I am definitely going to another one of his concerts. The only negative thing was the heat. The venue was so hot. Even Blackbear was commenting about it.
The atmosphere of his show was unlike any other Iāve seen and, people were so nice just having the best time with the best artist!! I went with a best friend to go see Bear and we took pictures too. Honestly, we were on shrooms when we first got there, so I didnāt say much to Bear besides hello... Iām a bit salty but I couldnāt stop smiling after meeting/ watching Blackbear LIVE. Truest blessed to have been able to see him. IGN 23/10
He was amazing live. I didnāt really like his newest album āanonymousā but once I heard it live it is SOOO GOOD. I miss him already:(
My friend and I enjoyed the show. But the lines to get in were confusing and the security didnāt seem to be communicating well about it since we were all told different things by some. The venue was also very warm but not too awful
Blackbear was amazing and one of the best concerts Iāve been to. It made me love his music so much more!
I love blackbear with a passion and had a magical & emotional night and that wouldnāt of happened if I couldnāt buy my last minute tickets off Ticketmaster. Thank you.
It was a fantastic show, openers and all. Wish I could experience it 10 more times
Great venue. @Bear was awesome loved the show !!!!!!!
