Blackbear Background
Blackbear has been a force on the pop charts since 2012, when he co-wrote Justin Bieber's chart-topping smash "Boyfriend." In the following years he carved out a name for himself as one of pop-R&B's power players by collaborating with heavy hitters like fellow "Boyfriend" cowriter Mike Posner, hip-pop powerhouse G-Eazy and rap-rock superstars Linkin Park. The man behind Blackbear, Mat Musto, was born in Pennsylvania in 1990. He began his music career in Florida in his teens as the vocalist for the pop-punk band Polaroid, but shifted his focus in the early 2010s to the emotionally resonant R&B he's known for these days. He self-released his 2015 debut Deadroses, which included the G-Eazy team-up "90210," and followed it with another self-released album, Help. Eventually he signed to Interscope, releasing his gold-certified third album, Digital Druglord, in 2017 and Anonymous in April 2019, which featured the singles "1 Sided Love" and "High1X." Blackbear has remained extremely productive over the years, co-writing for Nick Jonas and Mike Shinoda as well as producing releases by Gnash and Tyler Carter in addition to his own touring and recording.
Previously, Blackbear has brought crowds to capacity at the likes of The Fillmore (Minneapolis), The Fillmore (Detroit) and the Coca-Cola Roxy (Atlanta).

Getting inside took far to long especially since it was pouring down rain. But once inside the place was AMAZING!! Several beverage stations and restrooms. And the show was AWESOME!! Can’t wait to see Mod Sun again!!!

Went to red rocks amphitheater to see him and it was pouring for hours but it was still amazing!!
Just saw blackbare live in Austin for the first time and….. wow!!!!!!!!! Just amazing I’ve always loved Blackbeard but I’ve never seen him live and I wish he’d done the whole concert!!!! I’d definitely go to just him!!!!! Love you!!!!!

I had so much fun seeing bear perform at ISU. My friend drove down 2 hours from Wisconsin and from my house, we drove 1.5 hours to get to ISU. It was our second time seeing bear as well, saw him open for Maroon 5 in Milwaukee in August. We agreed he’s an artist we’ll keep seeing live, so it was 100% worth getting tickets!
This concert was definitely one of my favorites I have ever been to. He was so energetic and got the crowd going wild! His voice sounds exactly how it does on recording and all you wanted to do was jump around with him!! This is your sign to buy tickets right now :)
So I've been dying to see blackbear in concert for the longest time and you know what it was well worth the money well worth the show I loved it I had the best night in my life seeing him at the stadium at Hershey love every second of it fan of his for a while now I can't wait to see him again
The line to get in was unorganized because it was GA and a lot of people hot there early to be first in line, but when the gates opened people started cutting and the guards didn’t have a structure set up how they are going to let people in in order, so you really had to pay attention. Other than that it was just hot ash, crowded and sweaty. It was a standing concert so everyone was tired, but blackbear was great. I wish it was maybe 5 minutes longer tho.
Blackbear killed it!! I have always loved blackbear and recently got into EDM so I figured while he was touring with Elohim I would go see him. I am SO glad I did! He had such a great mix of older songs and stuff off his newest album. He engaged the crowd and by the end I was the amazing kind of exhausted you are after dancing and singing your heart out. I am so glad I made the effort to be there. It was a night I'll never take for granted.
I bought this ticket months earlier and when i got to the event that day general admission was $25 when i paid $45 on ticket master. The concert only lasted an hour. The artist you can barely hear the lyrics of his songs because of the background music. Very disappointed blackbear is one of my favorite artists.

Kind of disorganized with the lines to get in but they did get everyone in quick. Temp inside was comfortable. Staff inside were active and friendly. Flew from Dallas just to see the show and wasn't disappointed.
The concert itself and the show blackbear put on was amazing, but we werent let in the venue until 7 which was when the concert.was supposed to start, then we waited until 8:30 when the openers finally went on and after that at 9:30 he finally went on but after that the concert was amazing!!! 🖤🖤🖤
Blackbear’s show was easily the best night of my life. Yung Pinch and Elohim were amazing, and Blackbear himself was also amazing. i got meet and greet tix so i met blackbear and he was the nicest person. not to mention hid performance was absolutely insane. from his crazy vocals to his hyped up personality on stage. i even got a piece of his guitar that he smashed on stage. definitely would recommend going to a bear concert
Bear is a scholar in the music industry. He’s an extremely talented individual and you don’t know how talented he is until you see him live. I’ll never miss a local show of his.
I have been listening to Blackbear for a few years now and was so excited that he came to the Denver area! It was my first show at the Fillmore and I was pleasantly surprised, I loved that it was almost all general admission and we got a good spot close to the stage. One of my favorite concerts ever!
I absolutely loved the show. Blackbear is an amazing performer and I wanted it to keep going and going. The venue was great and so was the security. There was a guy that was pushing everyone and when the six security guards intervened, the guy even started fighting the security but they did a great job of getting him out of there. Show was great and I especially loved that I was in the first couple of rows in the genera admission. I would definitely see him again.
