Super entertaining eclectic musical ride

Never seen a crowd move like that at the state theatre. Great energy and great players. Will definitely see them again if they come around
Amazing rock show from start to finish—highly recommend
Amazing performers mosh pit took up 80% of the venue
Black midi is one of the best live acts around right now, and the venue was great and clean.
And the best show too, and it’s not even close. Discovered the opening band having never heard a song from their previous two album, and was floored by them. The band sat on the stage and let the pianist take over for Turbines/Pigs, an epic track that has moments of pure beauty. It was a wonderful way to discover a band. Prior to the show, I had only read a couple of reviews for Black Midi and watched the music video for Welcome to Hell. That’s all it took, and I bought a ticket in the balcony. The volume was so loud and I loved every minute of it because I didn’t have any reference for the songs other than that one. I could just sit and absorb it in all it’s technical mastery. The pit looked amazing from the balcony with the youth head banging and jumping like there was no tomorrow. It’s been a while since the show and have listened to all of both bands discography and can confirm, these are two of the best young bands that are flying under the radar of the pop music scene and hopefully both stay true to their quirks that make them so unique and satisfying to listen to.
genuinely the best concert I have been too. Band had amazing energy and the crowd was going so crazy, even the band members were smiling watching us.
black midi definitely doesn’t make music for everyone, but to that niche audience, it is so much fun. everyone was moving and dancing, ga is wild, lots of great music, a fantastic concert.
Fascinating music and great performances. None of the incredible musical detail of the performance was audible unfortunately. It was so absurd that when Mr. Picton's bass amp went out, the only noticeable change was that my seat stopped vibrating.
Black Country New Road was fantastic to see. Unfortunately Black Midi was just so loud and the bass was so overpowering I could barely hear or enjoy anything else. It was strange watching the keyboardist playing but not actually able to hear any of it over the sound of the bass guitar
