About

Black Label Society are the ongoing musical creation of infamous guitarist Zakk Wylde, who was plucked from obscurity by Ozzy Osbourne in 1987 and soon became a household name among heavy metal enthusiasts. Black Label Society were formed in 1998 after Wylde split from Ozzy and company. They recently released Unblackened, a live CD/DVD featuring a batch of stripped-down versions of their songs. The CD contains six bonus tracks, including covers of "Ain't No Sunshine" by Bill Withers and "A Song For You" by Leon Russell. Concerts give ticket holders plenty of bang for their buck. The band is a world-class live act, dishing out powerful sets of blues-based rock and metal songs fueled by Wylde's unmistakable guitar work and vocals. The band's recent unplugged-style concert performances may hint to a mellower approach in the future.

By the time Wylde embarked upon and struck out on his own solo career, he was a well-established name in the rock community. This eventually allowed him to achieve stand-alone success with the formation of Black Label Society and the debut album, Sonic Brew. Eight more albums, along with subsequent tours, were to follow. Their most popular studio release was Order Of The Black, which hit shelves in August 2010 and reached No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. The band has another studio album that is set for release sometime in 2014. Whether it will rediscover the band's hard rocking roots or continue in the mellower vein is a mystery. Based on the band's history, it's anyone's guess.

They let WAY too many people in the Venue

by Slabwagon on 11/30/21Summit - Denver

First of all, Obituary was Amazing! That's about all that was good. I've been to several concerts over the last 20 years and I have never had an experience where they let so many people in you couldn't move. I couldn't buy beer or buy merchandise because of the crowd. If there was an emergency in the venue there would have been nowhere to go. Summit showed a complete lack of public safety. It got so bad that I left the venue before BLS even started playing. I'm NOT going back to Summit.

BLS was a showboating trip from start to finish. Was not impressed, and that ballad was horrific!!

    BLS VIP Experience

by Jlakkari on 11/30/21Summit - Denver

I had an absolute blast! The nazi, “gold star,” “prove to us you deserve to stay out of the gas chamber” process i and everyone else had to go through will not be tolerated. I will NEVER do that again

    Vegas Vacation

by RobnMelT on 11/28/21House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

BLS show at the House of Blues was awesome. Staff made sure we were well hydrated for the show. ADA accessibility wasn't what was promised 2 hours before the show, but paying HOB for the upgrade wasn't the worst way to spend money. We made several attempts to make arrangements before we traveled to Vegas from Houston, Texas with our disabled daughter. Manager made a promise, then completely threw her in the nose bleeds, 3rd floor.

    Great Show!

    by Cole on 11/28/21Rialto Theatre-Tucson - Tucson

Great bands who have been around for a while. Prong was right on note and Obituary were their usual, growling selves. Zakk and the boys were shredding. Loved it.

    Great show

by Cara on 11/28/21House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Both the venue and show were great! We traveled from CT for vacation and grabbed these tickets before we left. General Admission tickets and the floor was full but not overcrowded. Show was great

    Not worth it.

by Metcraft on 11/28/21House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

The seats are tiny in this place, so basically if you're sitting next to another man you won't have any space at all. The severe price gouging for drinks is just ridiculous as well.

BLS @ House of Blues Las Vegas

by Matt W. on 11/27/21House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Both openers Prong and Obituary were on point and they sounded real good. As well it was very visible that they were enjoying themselves as they performed. BLS was good but their sound guy wasn’t doing them any favors… It was like everything was somehow muted or took a back seat to Zack’s guitar to include his vocals which were so muted it was hard to even make them out.

    BLS in Las Vegas

by Iccy on 11/27/21House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

From the Meet & Great, to the Opening Act until the finale of the Main Event, BLS and accompanying acts delivered one hell of a rock-n-roll show!

Incredible performance by Zakk Wylde and the Doom Crew

by D. M. on 11/27/21House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Absolutely amazing performance by BLS from the opening curtain banner drop to the finale at the House of Blues Las Vegas the nite of Nov 24 2021. Lasers, smoke effects, a huge wall of Amplifiers and Zakk's legendary Stacked Skulls Microphone was a stage visual to see! Truly impressed by the way Zakk displayed the album covers on a huge projection screen above the band when the songs from that album were being played. Unlike a lot of bands I've seen in the past, they sound exactly like they sound on the album...Not to mention complete respect by Zakk for his FANS the entire show!!! If you are a true fan of Black Label Society and haven't experienced them live, recommend making it a top priority to see them next time they're in your town, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!
