i have loved Billy Porter from his first album, i still listen to Borrowed Time on all my playlist when i'm driving down the road. The concert was amazing, he is so in touch with what's going on in the world and i felt way better on my birthday after seeing him. When he comes back i will see him again.
Billy puts on 2 1/2 hours of a party. His costume changes are epic and he takes you on a journey through his career, much of which preceded his Tony award winning stint as Lola in “Kinky Boots.” Don’t go looking for a night of Broadway because you’ll get very little of that. Most of the music is Billy’s original music in the pop, rock and R&B genres. Also, be prepared because he does let the cussing fly and does share his thoughts on the current state of the world. This show is not for the faint of heart, but true Billy Porter fans will be dancing in the aisles.
This was an absolutely phenomenal experience!! I was so honored to meet him in person. So appreciative of Billy Porter showing us his authentic self and cannot say enough about the positive energy he brought to the stage. His voice is incredible. He kept it real and we need that in the world today. Totally hoping he will come back again.
The venue was very comfortable. Billy Porter was everything and more, than I anticipated! So glad I made the trip from NY.
The show itself was amazing. I also did a meet and greet with Billy, and he was such a fun person to be around. He asked you your name, shook your hand, posed with you for multiple pictures, answered questions, and autographed whatever you brought. The show itself was phenomenal as well. It was all about his career from beginning to now, plus all his highlights. The costumes, the singing, dancing, and band were great. He incorporated current events and comedy into his set as well. He got in the crowd and sang with us. A ton of crowd interaction. He even did a 20 minute encore as well. One of the best performances I've ever witnessed.
Billy’s show was one of the best I’ve ever seen!! He put his heart and soul into his performance and it’s obvious this is what he was born to do!!! Loved it!!!
A fabulous show - that was entertaining and thought provoking!
Billy is an incomparable, uncompromising, generous, and passionate performer. WYSIWYG and it is all fabulous! He performed for over 2 hours with his talented backing band, taking us through a retrospective of his career and evolution as an artist. Of course, mutilple costume changes, including Lola’s iconic red boots. Go see him!
What a performance!! 2.5 hours of singing and learning more about his life and what he went through to get to where he is. So much fun and would definitely recommend!
Loved the show! He was amazing ! From the band, lighting. His outfit changes were everything!!! He kept the audience engaged. My only negative comment is the venue seating. The seats at the top were not made for tall people. Overall I loved the show
Billy Porter was fabulous! The show was full of great music, comedy and awesome outfits. I had such a great time!
We literally had front row seats. I thought Billy was/is an exceptional performer. He was respectful, kind, caring, talented (all the positive adjectives o could think of describes Billy as a performer and just a good human being. I wish I had not been so shy and asked him to autograph my copy of his book.
I witnessed true greatness and an awesome Broadway production. Billy, the band and the vibe were on point and really tight. I had been waiting to see him forever and he did not disappoint. Job well done, and I cannot wait to see more of him and his awesomeness.

My meet and greet experience was not a good experience with #billyporter. 1. They had us standing outside for an hour when we finally got in we had to stand for another 45 minutes to get our photo op. 2. For me it felt rushed and wasn’t worth the money spent especially after standing so long to get to meet him. 3. Also there were no giftbags given to the VIP participants. Ive been to other meet and greets where the artist gave giftbags more time and was very personable. I cant say the same here I was disappointed. I guess #theebillyporter was upset because I brought a notebook with his photos on it that I bought from Amazon for him to sign. Perhaps this is why I felt rushed. However, the show was good, I enjoyed the outfit changes, audience participation and his on stage energy.
Seeing Billy Porter at one of my favorite venues in DC, was a stellar experience. Billy made the evening one of love and acceptance. The perfect way to start Pride Month. Bikky gave us his soul for 2 1/2 hours and brought the crowd together inviting us all to hold hands at the end. Very proud to say he is from my hometown of Pittsburgh. We love Billy, but we had higher expectations. The show was okay and he was on time.
Loved it!! Loved his Voice. Loved his Politics. Loved his Outfis. Loved his Performance. It's time his name is known without explaining who he it. He waited a long time for the fame he deserved years ago.
Incredible from start to finish! A True Superstar!!!!!!!
It was a great show, or could have been if the sound had been better managed. Both the mix and levels were way off.
