Billy Porter's show is one-of-a-kind! It's energy filled, exhilarating, and uplifting! And of course, nothing beats his voice.....gorgeous vocals on every song. Plus he is very interactive with the audience, which is so fun. You can tell that Billy Porter just loves what he does and was having such a great time doing it.
Weren't sure what to expect but knew it would be good and Billy didn't disappoint us! 2 hours of fun!! We even got upgraded seats from balcony to orchestra! The only complaint was the use of lights shining out to audience! Gave us headaches!
Truly gifted, so much love in the room. We enjoyed the evening.
I would not consider myself a fan of Billy Porter but respect his character and work so went to see the show. What a treat!! He gave a great performance, as I expected he would, and delighted us in so many ways. Highly recommend seeing it and doubt you'd regret it.
From the time the curtains opened to the end, this production was fantastic! Loved, LoVed, LOVED the talent of Billie Porter, but moreover LOVED his warmth, humor and ability to move the audience through the phases of the performance. If you want to have an exceptional experience while being fully entertained, get your tickets and show up expecting an artist who gives you something to talk about after you leave the venue. We are still telling our friends and family about the great time we had. Thank you Billie Porter!!
Mr. Porter put on an amazing show. He’s a gifted entertainer, singer and storyteller. He came to SLAY (and he did!) 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
OMGsh where to begin! The fashion darlings the fashion! The vocals were insanely beautiful. I’m just in awe of the range and complexity of your voice! Truly, an instrument unlike any other. There’s only ONE Billy Porter! The message proud and heard! The change is happening! Love you Billy ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Took my 16-year old niece to the Billy Porter concert at the Paramount Theater in Seattle, and we had a blast! He is so energetic and so comfortable in his skin! And the outfits were amazing! His voice is incredible! I'm so glad he's showing the way forward for people who aren't always represented in the entertainment industry. The girl next to us yelled out to him that he was her fairy godmother - I think he's that for a lot of young people! What a great way to spend an evening with my youngest niece!
BUT…. The base player and drums were too loud, distorted Billy’s voice. I could not hear the lyrics until he sang a ballad.
The show was energetic, so fun, at times thought provoking & filled with joyful music!
Combine phenomenal singing, a tight band, 6 stunning costume changes, multimedia show to showcase Billy’s evolution, you get more than a concert. It was a Performance. Add his deep spirit and call for Goodness and Kindness, and it was a show that feeds your soul—- like going to Church, in the best sense of the word.
It was incredible! So much love, fun and music. Also such diverse audience! I’m so glad I got to see Billy Porter on stage!
Billy was fabulous! Unfortunately his band and the sound system drowned out his beautiful voice. You just couldn’t hear him or understand most of the words of his songs. So unfortunate! I love the way he presented a trip through his career with pictures and clips on a large screen on the stage. Another unfortunate thing was that they didn’t have any big screens with close-ups of his face during him singing, another oversight. It was his first concert, so I’m sure they will become better and better. He also brought the audience together in the end, and that was very touching all in all it was a good concert, but could have been much better. Had the sound system not drown him out.
Musically, this was a beautiful and entertaining show. More importantly, Billy was brilliant and inspiring. He got me. The audience was completely moved.
Billy Porter is an incredible talent. His voice is amazing and the show was energetic, with a variety of musical offerings. He is not your mother's entertainer, and came out in thigh-high, red patent, spike-heeled boots for the second half! It all just adds to the energy of the evening. Billy exudes and promotes love! Can't wait to see him again.
Wonderful, well organized show, as always. Have seen Billy many times and he never disappoints
