It was my first experience attending a Rodeo and I loved it. It was exciting and very entertaining.
Loved it! I wasn't bored for a single minute. Because it's live and animals are involved, you never know what's going to happen. The cowboys and cowgirls were great and the horses beautiful. Fun show and good competition.
Everything associated with the show was really nice, starting from the minute we walked in. We were treated very good the show was an experience I'll never forget and the food was good, everyone was having a blast.See you next year.
The Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo is an amazing experience. The skill displayed by the cowboys and cowgirls was phenomenal. Even the young people who participated were confident and knew what they were doing. I will definitely go again.
The overall rodeo performers were great. However, the hour long opening was too long. There should have been more information presented about Bill Pickett and the history of black cowboys. I know you have to thank your sponsors, but I felt like the repeated announcements took away from the show. There should have been programs handed out at the door on the order of performances. A colorful catalog was announced after the show started but did not contain a program. We left before the show ended after arriving at 6:30pm (showtime (7:30pm) and left at 10:00pm. We didn't see any bull riding, We will continue to support the Bill Pickett Rodeo in the future. There should have been at least one vender with books and materials for youth and adults about the legacy of black cowboys.
Proud to be a part of the viewing audience. Proud the riders represented my parents homestate of Texas. Prairie View A&M my mother’s Alma Mater. My home state of Calif represented and allll right Oklahoma. The show was exciting as well as some comical moments
Had an amazing time. Was intrigued the entire show . Will definitely be going next year.
My family and i had a great time!! It was a great experience and i plan to attend every year they come back!!
Loved the outfits. The children riders were amazing.
Simply the greatest show on dirt. We watched both show.
I really enjoyed seeing the talented young cowboys and cowgirls! They were so talented and focused and displayed a lot of appreciation for the horses!
The BPIR is a family tradition that my father started over 15 years ago. He traveled between Conyers, GA, Virginia Beach, VA and Upper Marlboro, MD just to see this rodeo. Although my father is no longer with us, my sister and I carry on the tradition...so happy that it is back. We had a tremendous time (even though we did miss seeing our favorite cowboy - Jason Griffin). Already looking forward to next year!
Every year i look forward to taking my grandkids to the BPIR. They laughed and yelled for cowboy roping the calves, was amazed to see the 7 year old cowboys and girls and eyes popped as the bulls tossed the vet cowboys off their backs. They were happy to see the cowgirls race around the barrels. A shout out to all the vendors with wears and food. It was so much fun and we look forward to the next Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo.
We enjoyed show and great customer service provided by Ticket Master!!! This is an annual event for us and we look forward to next year!!!
I enjoyed every minute of the show. It was first time but not my last!
The sound acoustics were off (too much echoing). And many people wondered why the rodeo announcer was European (white).
Great experience. I will continue to go every year.
Wonderful experience for the entire family. Entertaining and exciting.
Seating sucks. People saving multiple seats for others. Consider assigning seats instead of open seating.
This has become a tradition for me and my family!! Truly one of the best days I have every year. I pray this can become a bigger event in the future!! VERY PRIDEFUL DAY!!!
