The entire event was thoroughly organized and energized. It was amazing to see children as young as 4 years old riding a horse and the matured age of 80. The attire was beautiful. I loved the experience! Thank you!

This was my first time attending the Black Rodeo but it won't be my last!!! I had a hoot of a time‼️! The music🎶🎶🎶 and performance🐴🐴🐴 was very exciting!!! It was a beautiful event. And, I love, love it❤️❤️❤️ See you next year⛈️ or 🌞

Catch the next show. You will not regret the greatest show I’ve ever seen. All of the guests were fully engaged. Good Food, Photo Shots, Bull Wrestling, Racing of all ages and good clean fun. A show for adults as well as children, I was amazed at the children in the show who were just as talented as the adults. Children ranging from 4 years old to 20 riding and racing horses as well as tackling bulls was spectacular.
Exciting loved it something very different planning to come next year loved the kids everyone seem to take what they were doing serious crowd very enthusiastic

I loved everything about this show from beginning to end. My 5 year old was thoroughly entertained and inspired. I will try to make it back every year!! Much love to all the black cowboys and cowgirls. You made me proud watching your skill and dedication in action
The Bill Pickett Rodeo was exciting but just a little too long. Perhaps I missed it but I wish we had a schedule/brochure of the events. Highly recommended though!
We always have a great time when we attend the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo. The food, the fun, friends and family was the best part. We went from the 2 of us to inviting 8 more guests this year. We are looking forward to next year.
Overall, this was a great experience. We will certainly be there for the 40th year Anniversary show! It was amazing to see the skills and discipline of the young cowboys. The volume for that size venue was too loud, and it was hard at times to understand with clarity what was being said due to music volume and the announcements happening simultaneously. There was a nice variety of foods to enjoy and vendors to support. The staff was really good at engagement with the audience, and I learned a new line-dance; that was fun.
Such a fun evening! Cowboys and cowgirls of all ages put on an amazing display of talent. The entertainers and music kept the crowd engaged the whole time. Not a bad seat in the whole house.
For my first rodeo I'd have to say the experience was very fulfilling. all the men women and children that made the Bill Pickett Rodeo work, worked. will definitely repeat the next time they're in town with a bigger party.
This was my first time attending a rodeo of any kind. It was especially great to attend an all Black rodeo. To see the skill, the supporters, the pride, ALL of the adult and youth, male and female cowboys and cow girls was an enlightening and proud moment. The story of Bill Pickett needs to be shared.
It was wonderful even though it was longer than I expected. I attended the first show and I enjoyed the performances, the fellowship and the food. And I was very happy to see all the sponsors - since we own three Toyota automobiles. Also, my husband rode in the parade.
Didn’t think they could sell more seats than they had. But people had to stand even though we paid for seats. That just is not right.
My family always travel from NC to enjoy the rodeo to see the talent displayed by the African American cowboys, ladies and kids! Love the experience and wish they were published in American history!!

This was my first time attending a rodeo. My husband is from Oklahoma, and he was able to relive his experience as a child growing up attending the rodeos with his father and uncle. From the start to the end the show was fantastic. There were so many African American riders and I learned a lot about the structure and scoring of the rodeo. I am looking forward to attending my next rodeo with other friends.
