BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Ben Howard was raised in a musical household where folk music held court. Inspired by artists like Joni Mitchell, Simon & Garfunkel, and Van Morrison, Ben began playing guitar and writing his own music at an early age, penning tunes in the highly melodic, rootsy style of his folk idols. His 2011 debut LP Every Kingdom was a huge success both in the UK and the US, yielding the hit singles “Old Pine” and “The Wolves” and earning him two Brit Awards in 2013—British Breakthrough Act and British Solo Male Artist.
Ben Howard is the real deal. He has a haunting voice and he is an incredible guitar player. He had the audience with him the whole time, he really brought the house down. Just loved it. The sound system was not great. What happened to the great Filmore tradition, there were no posters at the end.

His tracks are so chill that I was both surprised and thrilled when he displayed so much passion live. He's a brilliant musician as well as a first rate performer.
I have to say that Ben Howard and his band are just absolutely amazing! You just feel the music when he sings. I didn't like that it was an all ages show though. I can do without young kids at that kid of venue. Terminal 5 was okay. Wouk like to have been closer to the stage. All in all a brilliant show! Going to see him next time he's in NYC.

Terminal 5 is awesome, acoustics were great....Ben Howard and gang your awesome. The opener Willy Mason, my man your legit. Overall a great experience! Ben Howard is a new breed of musician the only way to see him is live! Terminal 5 you did it awesome!!!!

Ben Howard is a great vocalist, as well as instrumentalist, so it was no surprise that he performed perfectly live. Terminal 5 is a pretty nice venue, they even had candy, mints, etc in the restrooms.
AMMMMAAAZZZIIIINGGG! Ben Howard has an INCREDIBLE voice and made the concert quite enjoyable and I went all by myself!
I've been to every NY show Ben has had since he started touring in the USA last year. he's an unforgettable performer at any venue. i highly recommend going to any and every show Ben Howard and band has to offer.
Ben Howard surpassed our expectations with his on-stage presence. Black Flies, Esmerelda, extended versions of a many songs from Every Kingdom, and a secret number no one had heard before - what more could you ask for? The crowd was enraptured throughout his performance, so much so that when he announced his next performance in the summer, it was clear that everyone was ready to return. Venue was massive so didn't feel too crowded, sound and lighting were great. Only downside was that despite the crowd, it was so cold - wish they had turned down the air conditioning!

The show was great - Ben Howard's voice is incredible and his skill as a guitar player is just as good. The stage design was really nice and simplistic and fit with the tone of the show. I stood very near to the stage and had an amazing view.
Second time seeing Ben in New York and he surpassed my high expectations. Looking forward to his next trip to the area.
Ben Howard is a genius. You don't except such a powerful voice to come out of this average looking guy. His music is inspiring & the fans know all the words. It was a magical experience. Definitely recommend going to see him live!! Probably my favorite show of the year.
This was hands down the best live show I've attended. Not only was the venue small enough to make each and every person feel up-close and personal, but Ben Howard was (obviously) amazing. If I didn't worship him before the show, I sure do now. I encourage everyone to attend this show - fantastic opening acts and an incredibly down to earth and chill performance by Ben.
