He earned his stripes on Broadway... now the ghost-with-the-most is coming to Chicago.
It's showtime! Based on Tim Burton's dearly beloved film, this hilarious musical tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes. With an irreverent book, an astonishing set, and a score that's out of this Netherworld, BEETLEJUICE is "SCREAMINGLY GOOD FUN!" (Variety). And under its uproarious surface (six feet under, to be exact), it's a remarkably touching show about family, love, and making the most of every Day-O!

The show was absolutely amazing! I would love to see it again if I can get the chance. The cast was unbelievably talented and I loved it! Beetlejuice is one of my favorite movies and I was blown away by the broadway version of the show. It was just knocked out of the park by the incredibly talented cast. Such a great performance!
Beetlejuice was a phenomenal experience and show. The cast was phenomenal and just the overall experience was wonderful. A Fantastic night of theatre.
I enjoyed the musical very much. It was entertaining from start to finish and would definitely go again. The orchestra was amazing and the singing of the actors were so well projected. Loved this.
The show was great!! Very funny, singing, and choreography were fantastic! Lighting was wonderful!! Overall fantastic performance from start to finish!! However, the venue seemed to not open the doors until just before show time. We had no time to get beverages, or use the rest room. Unfortunately, a rest room break was unavoidable due to the length of our drive, and subsequently caused us to miss the opening of the show. We could hear, but the curtain was closed. At the end of the show as we were leaving, security was hurrying us out the door. Barely had time to get souvenirs. Show it self was far beyond expectations. The venue, or company the venue hired was not very efficient.
Much of the play was delightful, but the scene with Lydia in the dark singing solo and then when her father came in and they had a heart-to-heart, was so boring and just a major waste of time. I was not impressed with this play, but--each decorated set was beautiful.
Not at all what I expected, but turned out better than what I imagined! The musical followed the movie to an extent, but had unexpected twists to the story, which I thoroughly appreciated. A lot of adult humor, again which I appreciated, but not really appropriate for the younger kids. I would see it again in a heartbeat!
Poorly written…plot didn’t make sense…but the actor playing “Mr. Juice” was a riot. And Lydia has a beautiful voice! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
. I enjoyed the show and laughed a lot. However much of the humor is adult based. I was surprised at the number of small children in the audience. Maybe some explaining to do from the parents as I’m sure the young’s ones didn’t comprehend the meaning.
Hilarious! The jokes kept coming, the singing was powerful! I had a wonderful time.
The Musical is not and I mean not kid friendly. Talked about sex a lot, it was quite a few gay scenes like groping and kissing of the same sex. Also I understand that it’s a musical but it’s wayyyyyy to much singing, I feel like it should have been balanced out with the acting and singing. Plus it’s a lot of profanity. I recommend not bringing your kids, and it sucks because I grew up watching beetle juice as kid. This was terrible!!!
I’ve waited 5 years to see this show as I couldn’t see it in New York. The touring production was absolutely incredible in every way. The show truly had us laughing like crazy. It was a dream come true to finally see this amazing show!! Incredibly talented cast particularly Beetlejuice, and Lydia. Justin, and Isabelle were perfect as Beetlejuice and Lydia but the entire cast was just phenomenal. The show was perfect in every way. We saw it on the 16th at the auditorium theatre in Chicago do not hesitate to see this incredible show!! I’ll be coming back to see it next year
Just loved it. From the comedy, to the stage design, to the sandworm. 100% recommend!
We saw this on Broadway and loved it. The Chicago production had great singing and acting. The set was not as amazing as in New York. Very disappointed in all the F bombs and gay jokes (not in the Broadway show). In general, it was enjoyable.
BeetleJuice was so funny! Lots of quips that caught you off guard! Truly a great show to see!
the cast are absolutely amazing! so so so talented, writers did a great job with the show, & beetlejuice was really interactive with the audience the night i went as well. felt kind of packed in the lobby but it was basically a full house so it's whatever, the show's totally worthy of all the hype it's been getting.
Clearly saw and heard all the action. Even though it was a twist on the movie it was excellent. My grandchild enjoyed it too. At 15, he got the innuendos and it was subtle enough to not be gross.
The cast and show was awesome. Best show seen in awhile. If you can go see it, I advise you to go
From start to finish, this was an outstanding performance! The story, music and cast was excellent, especially the actor playing Beetlejuice. Well done!
I can’t say it enough how much we enjoyed it. Every actor did a phenomenal job . Highly recommend..
