Beauty and the Beast Tickets

Wonderful performance! I brought along our 10 & 8 year old daughters who were in awe of the talent on stage. Loved it.

Took my 5 year old daughter to see Beauty and the Beast. We were so close, she could see down in the orchestra pit. Daughter was mesmorized by how close the characters were, and is asking when we will go to see another show. An event I will never forget experiencing with her.

I was surprised at the additions to the story. Things like obvious drinking (one girl falls down she's so drunk) and the sexual undercurrent between several characters. Gaston goes so far as to raise his hand to Belle as if to stike her! These are not things I want my 5 yo to see! I was very disappointed. I was trusting Disney.

This was very enjoyable and the performance of the cast was outstanding. The music was great and the stage settings were really imaginative. All-and-all, it was worth going to see.

I saw this show at Devos Hall in 2002. The 5/23/10 production was 15 minutes shorter, the crowd scene when the townspeople stormed the castle was eliminated. The transformation from beast to prince, candleabra to man, teapot to lady ect. was simple and without the special effect from '02. The fight scene between Gaston and Beast eliminated the fall from castle to cliff. The very beginning with the begger lady tranformed to princess was just plain stupid. Singing was great, acting was diminished because the show was so dumbed and scaled down. I should have been forewarned that this was the "all new" production.

I first saw this play as a child, and again as an adult. This is truly a classic story with loveable characters and unforgettable music.

The set, singing, acting was awesome. It was funny and loving and it took me away from the adult world of working & stress and it let me be a kid with dreams!

I saw Beauty & the Beast for the first time 12 years ago at the Chicago Theatre, and at that time, was blown away at the performances, costumes, set, music, every little last detail. Since then, I have always wanted to see it again and now 12 years later, I was able to take my 2 oldest daughters. The girls loved the show, and couldn't stop talking about it afterward. They loved the songs, the costumes and the humorous moments throughout the show. I myself, a former thespian, was again amazed at the professionalism of the performance, it was just like seeing it for the first time. I appreciate how true it stays to the Disney animated film and how all of the additions to the story, merely complement what we've come to know from the screen version. It's like watching the animation come to life. Great job, Disney!

The performance was great, the staff was very helpful and very kind to all the children in attendance.

The play was great! My 7 year old loved it! It did have a few parts that would be scary for the little ones. I didn't notice any crying, but I heard some neighboring adults telling them that it was pretend... maybe a warning for them might help. Very fun!

good show, funny and great actors. This was my son's first play to see and He and I weren't sure he was going to like it, because it seems like it would appeal more to girls, But he enjoyed it. The play was comedic and entertaining. I recommend it and plan to see more shows because of the good experience we had there. Although the security were extremely uptight regarding having your cellphones cameras even out of your bag for fear of pictures.

It was absolutely the most wonderful experience I could've had with my daughter! So much glamour & glitz!! Definitely far beyond a high school presentation. It's a definite must see for all. My son and husband would've loved it. Non-stop excitement.

Took high school students to see this play. On the way up to Grand Rapids the van was very quiet. However, on the way back the students talked about their favorite parts and then realized they covered the complete play from beginning to end. A side note. Sometimes the orchestra overpowered the performers.

I took children and grandchildren ranging in ages from 3 yrs. to 36 yrs. and they all loved the show. The music and costumes were beautiful and the story, of course, is timeless. DeVos hall is a gem of a venue...Grand Rapids is truly fortunate to have such a fine performance hall!

Second time this weekend for this show and it was better this time. Maybe I just expected too much from the first time I went on Friday. Nothing can be as good as the first time you see a broadway show. The performance was very good. Great show for the whole family.

I took my 11 year old daughter to see Beauty and the Beast. The tickets were purchased as a gift for her recent birthday. We both enjoyed the show very much. The actors really brought their characters to life and the singing was amazing. Our tickets were a bit costly ($50 each) but after we visited the show I felt it was worth every penny.

The show was very good. There was an extreme amount of talent on the stage. The sets were great. Would definitely recommend this performance.

The colors, storyline and cast were amazing! Just like the movie!
