Beautiful was amazing from beginning to end! Can't go wrong with all those old familiar songs from my favorite artist. It was a great mother and daughter musical to see together.
The show was a wonderful tribute to Carole King and kept the audience enthralled with the best of the hits, through the music of the 50s, and the history and culture of the music business. Highlighting such amazing talents, the show just sparkled. I highly recommend seeing it, no matter your age, because it is a truly American show, with the grit and stamina of musicians and singers who lived their passion to the fullest.
What a great show. Not much for musicals, but I was truly captivated by this performance. The numbers were so well formed and the show was produced extremely well.

Absolutely loved this MUSICal! I saw it on Broadway the first time and loved it - so had to see it again! I will never hear a Carole King song without thinking of her life. This cast did a fantastic job! Very well one
I went with medium to low expectations, mostly because i like Carol King, but wouldn’t consider myself a fan. My wife loves her. The show far, far exceeded my expectiions. Carol Kings life as a song writer before she became famous as a singer was very interesting and the music she wrote that other groups performed was wonderful. The entire cast was top quality. A really, really fun night in the theater.
Attending Beautiful was my third time to attend an off Broadway show at this venue. The theater is fantastic and the people who work there are very gracious and helpful. I appreciate the quality of shows that are shown here and I highly recommend this theater.
Beautiful was...well...Beautiful! This fast paced musical celebrated the life of Carole King in music with 27 loved and memorable songs! Some were performed by the groups she and her husband and musical partner wrote them for, and some in her own voice after she became a solo artist. The show transported me back in time and was a true toe tapping good time from beginning to end! Loved every note and every minute! I felt the earth move under my feet! Beautiful!
great show great seats I would recommend seeing shows there. It was our first time that my husband and I have been to the theater.
Music was, of course, fantastic. The story well told - so much about Carole King’s life I did not know. Great fun!

I'm a fan of Carole King. Her songs are the sound track of my life during the 70's and 80's. By hearing the songs, I get to touch that part of my life. Learning about her life and the history behind each song was just...beautiful.
Awesome show. I love ever minute of it. I knew all her songs, I didn’t know she wrote and sang so many. I would see this show again.
If you like Carol Kings music;then this is a Must See! The music and performers were Great.
We sat in row 21 under the balcony. I don't know if this was the cause of the extremely poor sound or if the speaker system just needed to be replaced years ago. Either case the volume was action movie loud which I can understand for a movie, but not for Carol King. The sound was like old worn out speakers, as the volume increased the sound got fuzzy and lost the base which made it even worse. This was also the opinion of the people sitting next to us. I am assuming that the mixing was also not up to par because when the 50's groups were singing the backup to the lead singer was as loud or sometimes louder. We will probably give the CPA another chance, but will not go if these are the only seats in the theater available. I would think that Nederlander would demand better sound for it's productions than what they are getting. The cast and their performance was very good, just the sound was TERRIBLE which was very distracting.
A fantastic show. Beautiful centers around the musical career of Carole King as her life develops. I’ve recommended the show to others. I recommend it to you as well.
