We loved this performance! Learning Carole King’s life story told through the lyrics of so many songs we know and love. The cast was outstanding and had many in the audience singing and dancing as the curtain closed.

Would have gone to see it again, if Sun hadn’t been the last performance. Plan to catch up with it in San Antonio and take my two sisters. Loved it!

I saw it Friday night with a friend then went back with my boyfriend two days later. INCREDIBLE both times. I would rec to anyone.

This was an amazing show. We saw this show on Broadway and the Houston Performance was just as good if not better. Our seats were excellent, both in location and comfort. We have been to several shows at the Hobby Center and have never been disappointed. The only downside to me was the size of the audience. Houston, you have the opportunity to see a fantastic show in an excellent venue at a great price, take advantage of it.

Mother/daughter date. Could not have been a better show. Young or a bit older! We both loved it. Would see it again.

Such a great musical. The music was amazing and it was neat to learn about her early career. Everyone was singing and really enjoying themselves.

My sister and I really enjoyed reliving our teen years and playing Tapestry Album so much we almost wore it out. I did not realize so much about her early years. What great songs she has had a hand in writing. The story was told well and the singers were great! I highly recommend you won't be disappointed!

Music selection was great, cast was on point. Story line though was too saccharine for what seemed like some dark periods in her journey. Lighting was amiss , for example spot light not on one of the characters, especially noticeable during performances where all but one of backup singers were spotlighted. Sound was also amiss. The voices faded in and out as characters were speaking / singing. Overall, a fun enough experience because I like the music. But the production needs fine tuning.

The music is wonderful, the cast equally talented. The venue of Hobby Center is nice although I do prefer the intimate venue of New York theaters.

Musical had a great story line that depicted Carole Kings life. We learned a lot about how she became the person/performer that she is today. All of the performers did a great job performing the songs, which brought us back to the 60's & 70's. Great performance by all!

The music was incredible- brought back so many memories. The actors were wonderful. The whole experience was very memorable and convinced me I need to do more often. I met a friend from school I hadn’t seen for 40 years and we were able to relive so many beautiful memories. Thank you having this event - it was so worth the time and money to see it♥️
