BEAUTIFUL tells the inspiring true story of King’s remarkable rise to stardom, from being part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history. Along the way, she made more than BEAUTIFUL music, she wrote the soundtrack to a generation.
Great, loved every minute of it, laughed, cried and sang along! Would see it again in a heartbeat!
Beautiful was entertaining, engaging, informative, and kept me bouncing in my seat and tapping my feet to all the good tunes!!! The singing was superb and the warerobe and hair and makeup was spot on for the different time changes. It was a wonderful combination of humorous and serious sides of her life. Everyone was fantastic, the costumes explosive and the singers right on!! I would highly recommend it to my family and friends.
Everything about it was absolutely excellent!! The singing was brilliant! the conductor/director/keyboard artist was BRILLIANT, the acting, stage direction, props, orchestra....ALL of it was EXCELLENT!
This was a great show with fabulous performers. I didn't know Carole and her husband wrote so many songs for other well-known performers. My only critique was that the orchestra was a little too loud for the singers. I was in the balcony so many it was the acoustics of the venue. The actress who played Carole was perfect with an amazing voice.
This musical was an awesome performance and I loved all the music!
Fantastic! Wonderful! Exciting & not wanting it to end!
Great music, good acting, and well made storyline. Stage production was awesome, too. Highly recommended.
what a great show we could attend close to home and not have to survive new York traffic. The characters were believable. My wife and I were so upset with Carole's husband we wanted to boo him when they took their curtain calls. Their was enough humor to overcome the heartaches that occurred. Two thumbs up
This one is in my top 10 musical events of a lifetime. Spectacular cast. Do not miss this one.
