Thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable, great music, of course, and very well done. Highly recommended.

This show had the right amount of story line, humor, music, and a variety of singers that keep you excited from curtain up to the encore. I loved Carole's music before I went, but now I really love her - as well as her talented cohorts throughout her life. The actors and the musicians did a super job. This show is a must-see!!

It has been a l-o-n-g time since hubby & I have seen a Broadway performance so when I saw a preview ad for Beautiful I knew we'd enjoy it because the music was familiar and the genre we liked. The portrayal of Carole King's life and how her songs came to be was very interesting. The stage performances and creativity & ingenuity of set scenes were fantastic. We loved the music (of course) and there was the right amount of humor & drama mix. The actors' performances were very well done as well. With so much TV acting more easily available for viewing, it's easy to forget the amount of dedication & talent it takes to do live stage acting along with the added element of singing in musicals. The cast of Beautiful gave excellent performances.

I saw this musical in NYC/Broadway and enjoyed the DPAC production just as much! I would recommend it.

Beautiful! captured the music of a generation and captivated us from start to finish! A must see for Carole King fans and music lovers of all ages. Voices, choreography, staging were exceptional - what an amazing and talented cast! Loved it and can't wait to see it again!

Great music and a great but sad life story. The variety of music Carol King and her husband wrote was incredible and very well performed. When the star sang Natural Woman she brought the house down.

I was amazed at the songs that I love that were written by Carol King. The variety was truly remarkable. Thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

This production is extremely well done. The set was creative and very pretty. The cast members are quite talented. I have no bad words to say about it. Enjoy!

One of the best plays we've ever seen. We laughed, cried, and sung along. It was a LOT better than I expected, knowing nothing going in. We highly recommend it to all.

"Beautiful" is absolutely awesome, totally captivating. The story is excellently written and portrayed; the characters have great depth. In any story, EMOTION is the key. This one has it, and its resonance is across genders -- definitely much more than a female point of view. You'll be cheering for Carole!

What a fantastic jukebox musical! SO much fun. Lots of laughs and a few tears, but certianly had me dancing in my seat! Highly recommend.

Was fun to hear all my favorite songs again, and to learn about Carole's life. Have been a fan for a very long time. Knew she was involved in many of the songs from the 60's but didn't know how many. The cast is very talented and all the music performed well. A "feel good", fun afternoon!

Loved, loved, loved it. Could hardly believe it when it was over. I was entranced the whole time. Will see it again.

We were on the top level, as my friend had correctly told me there was not a bad seat in the house. (The only thing we missed from up there was the awesome detail on the Locomotion Ensemble's shoes!) The sound from the cast and orchestra was perfect, which is exactly what you hope for with a powerhouse cast and real life soundtrack like that!! Not only was the music of course incredible, but so was each and every cast member. We sat so riveted and enthralled watching their (Carol & Company's) lives develop on stage that we were surprised at how fast the whole performance went by. We didn't want it to end! All at once fun-filled, thrilling and heart-wrenching, the show was simply amazing.

Two thumbs up! The performers are great! Had to watch it again for the second time in one week! Great music!!!!

I have recommedned this performance to everyone I know. The performance and DPAC were extraordinary. One of th emost enjoyable evenings I have spent.
