  • Loved John Fogerty!!!!

by musikkat on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

What a great three days! Great music! Looking forward to next year. While the event was organized well, it may be advantageous to put up more garbage receptacles. The crowd was willing to use them, but they were full by mid-afternoon and after that everything landed on the ground.

Overall a pretty fun festival. Parking is insane and WAY too expensive. Line up could have been better.

  • It was all about Ed!

    by SharonRY1957 on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

I went with my son (23) and my daughter (20). Our first time. The ultimate goal was Ed Sheeran on Sunday night! But the whole festival was great! My only regret that I couldn't get Katie even closer to the stage to see Ed :) but it was still awesome! This 57 yr old Mama is a big fan too!

Have water fountains for free. Don't get greedy. Paying 3 dollars per water is outrageous, also provide parking for people

  • Beale is beautiful!

    by David59 on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

This is one of several festivals that we attend yearly, and one of our favorites. Memphis knows how to throw a party!

  • Everything was awesome! Especially Paramore!

by Sarofuss on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

This was the best 3 day converts ever! They had good bands set up, good food, and good people. It got a little crazy during the heavy metal concerts, but that's what made it awesome! And Paramore was amazing! I stood in the crowd for four hours to get up as close as I did and it was well worth it! Ed Sheeran was a really good one to go watch too!

by JessLew on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - MemphisRating: 4 out of 5

The ease of getting tickets was amazing. The crowd was massive but so was the talent. Music Fest this year was an epic experience. Hozier and Ed Sheeran killed it. Fantastic..

  • Don't ever miss Music Fest!

by memphisstars on 5/5/15Tom Lee Park - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

No matter what kind of music you like, don't miss this mega-event on the bluffs of the Mississippi River. The weather was perfect this year, for a change ~ no rain, no mud, no tornadoes, no cold. I once again spent most of my time in the Blues Tent. Incredible music for three days. Jarekus Singleton, up and coming blues band, was my favorite. Jarekus is so excited to be making the big time, and he really, really feels the music. Will Tucker is a blues guitar kid-wizard who FEELS the music. Kenny Brown from N. Miss Hill Country, and Memphis' Ghost Town Blues Band were also hits with the crowd. I have now heard an electric push broom, a cigar box guitar, and stand-up bass played with a bow. As usual the only weak link is the management of this festival. Supplies in the porta-potties always run out, and why they don't open the tent flaps to the river is insane.

  • Avett Brothers was amazing!!

    by BigTony12345 on 5/5/15Tom Lee Park - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

Perfect music festival for 20-40 year olds! Best music festival I've been to.

  • Avett Brothers, Ed Sheeran, Hozier, ETC.

Awesome people, music and weather!! I would reccomend to buy tickets early as the prices increase closer to the event date.

  • What the..?!?

by Cynsie on 5/5/15Tom Lee Park - MemphisRating: 3 out of 5

Drove 10 hours to go see a band that I have been wanting to see for some time now only for them to act like spoiled children, throw temper tantrums and walk off stage. I don't remember any other band having "sound issues" unless you want to count how bad Breaking Benjamin sounded (no energy). FFDP states they will make it up to their fans but, How are you going to make it up to a fan that drove 10 hours to see them and will probably not be going back to Memphis any time soon. Ended up going down to see Lenny Kravitz since FFDP couldn't get it together and loved every minute of his set!!

  • Well ran event

by DWJPhoto on 5/5/15Tom Lee Park - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

The festival was really well done. Plenty of bathrooms, access and lots of food vendors. Prices on food and beverages were reasonable considering the event. Location beside the river is awesome!

  • Avett Bros.

by LMOfo on 5/5/15Tom Lee Park - MemphisRating: 4 out of 5

Getting the Avett Bros. was enough. The shops, food, grounds were great, but they could have all been bad and it would have been worth it since The Avett Bros. came! Well done, BSMF.

Attended Saturday with my 20 year old son. Music was amazing. Big Head Todd and the Monsters was a wonderful surprise. The Avett Brothers were over the top. My first time seeing them live and was blown away.
