About
For the past 25 years, Queens-based Bayside has represented a lifestyle, a counterculture, and a deeply-held commitment to integrity and earnestness. At their core, Bayside is a band that has constantly proven that music is not about gimmicks and ephemeral trends, but a timeless reflection of our life and our times. It is through this authentic expression and creative spirit that the band has amassed a cult-following that lives and breathes everything the band creates.
It's a spirit that permeates an impressive and storied discography, including Sirens and Condolences (2004), Bayside (2005), The Walking Wounded (2007) and Shudder (2008). Covering the "Victory Records Years," Bayside grew their reputation as road warriors with their impressive amount of touring. From basements to clubs to Warped Tour, the band led melodious sing-alongs everywhere they went, with fans flocking to Anthony Raneri's personal, yet universal lyrics and story-telling. Fan favorites like "Devotion and Desire" and "Duality" continue to be staples in the bands' live show.
While the band held strong to their punk roots, what set them apart from their peers was their musicianship. Diverse in thought and background, but united in a shared desire for authentic expression and immense musical talent, Bayside continues to push the boundaries of what a Bayside song could be. In the second half of their legendary career, covering the "Wind-Up and Hopeless Records Years," Bayside embraced the heavier and grittier side of themselves, while keeping the anthemic choruses of the earlier years. With Killing Time (2011), Cult (2014), Vacancy (2016), Interrobang (2019), and There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive (2024), the band focused on creating songs that are relevant to people who want substance, rather than being relegated to one genre. In 2023, the band even collaborated with Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills on their rock anthem, "How To Ruin Everything (Patience)" - their first song charting at Sirius XM Octane.
Having toured the world multiple times over, sold thousands of albums, and amassed millions of streams, Bayside has achieved a lot in their storied career. And while many bands would coast on their past success, Bayside has always rejected that premise and continues to prove time and again that the best is yet to come.

Bayside rocked.
by girlnamedjack on 10/14/11Majestic Theatre - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5I overall enjoyed the show. Bayside blew me away; they are all so musically talented and really have great stage presence. I personally wasn't feeling well which kind of inhibited my "fun", but as soon as Bayside took the stage, it seemed that I forgot about not feeling well and enjoyed their set.
Amazing Show
by acfine on 10/10/11Royale Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5Transit was absolutely amazing. The crowd loved them and they named the show their "record release show" since they didnt have one when their new record came out. I am the Avalanche was great too. Great energy. Venue is amazing and the beers/drinks are very tasty. Saves the Day was also great, though not as high energy. Moshed my brains out during Bayside and ended up a sweaty drunk and exhausted mess. Perfect way to end the show. Bayside was amazing too by the way. Just an amazing show. Highly recommend going to see this tour or going to this venue.
Bayside...absolutely amazing
by asizzleforizzle on 10/10/11Royale Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5Bayside is without a doubt my favorite, and thee best, band ever. Royale was an incredible venue. The opening bands were actually pretty good.
Silverstein Amazing!
by walshwarrior7 on 5/31/11Altar Bar - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5I drove from Cleveland to see Silverstein for the first time and Polar Bear Club for the second time in 3 months. The venue was really cool and I would definitely go back. Silverstein should've been the headliner though since they drew a larger crowd than Bayside. I hope to see Silverstein come back around soon!
Best show I've been to
by Spacemonkey1984 on 5/30/11Altar Bar - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5When Bayside came on stage the crowd went nuts, almost every person in the room was singing along with the whole setlist

by Leese123456789101112 on 5/1/11Electric Factory - PhillyRating: 5 out of 5Last Saturdays show was amazing, started off a little slow but the three openings did a really good job pumping people up for Silverstein and Bayside......who were amazing! Once Silverstein and Bayside started i dont think i stood still once! Can't wait til they come again to Philly......which they better:)
Silverstein and Bayside amazing!
by 10dannyl44 on 4/29/11The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5I am not much for the polar bear club or the swellers but hey were not bad! I really liked to experience texas in July because I had never heard of them before. They were really good. Time Silverstein went on stage seemed so short but its probably because that is the band I wanted to see! I danced my butt off and Silverstein played all of my favorite songs and brought great energy! Bayside was really awsome too! They played really great and I loved that they played devotion and desire which everyone in the crowd really wanted to hear. The whole experience was amazing and I learned that nobody does it like the burgh!

Bayside never fails to deliver. They always sound amazing live. Silverstein was good also. Some of the opening bands were questionable, but overall, awesome show.
Amazing show
by WCblackbear on 4/25/11The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5I have seen Bayside many times at venues all across the Philly area. This past saturday's show was probably the best. The other bands, Texas in July, The Swellers, and Polar Bear Club, all did a great job getting the energy up for Silverstein and Bayside. All I can say is it was a great show and if they were coming back again tomorrow I would get tickets to watch it all over again. Looking forward to next time.
Bayside is always good
by Anonymous on 4/25/11The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5Every bayside show I've ever been to I've always been on my feet. Its never a dull moment and they're just great entertainers.
AMAZING
by Anonymous on 4/25/11The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5I've seen Bayside seven times now and they never disappoint. The set they played at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia was the best I've seen in five years. The crowd loved them, everyone sang along, and mutual respect for both the audience and the band filled the room. It was amazing. Silverstein was also extremely entertaining. This was my first time seeing them and I was definitely impressed. The venue was also impressive. The lighting and sound were of good quality and event staff did a great job.

Bayside was THE BEST
by KBQT4L on 1/19/11Water Street Music Hall - RochesterRating: 5 out of 5I was not expecting this show to be that good. But it was amazing...The opening band sucked, but they were local. Terrible Things played next and they were unbelievable. And then it was The Sleeping who I am not a big fan of, but they sound much better live. When Bayside came on it was amazing! They were so loud! It was so much fun...it was the first non-metal concert I've been to where people don't just stand around and stare. Everyone was into it.Oh and Bayside did an encore!
Highlight of my Life
by 1162011 on 1/19/11Water Street Music Hall - RochesterRating: 5 out of 5The beginning high school band did a great job opening for Bayside. Terrible Things were very enjoyable and should definitely be noticed more by music lovers. The Sleeping got the crowd going and really lifted the atmosphere during the wait for Bayside. When Bayside came out the tension was insane waiting to hear Anthony's voice. Needless to say the stage was up close and personal and the crowd sang every word. The energy in Water Street Music Hall was the best energy I've ever felt at a concert. Anthony took the time to dedicate his songs and even played some old ones which was really nice to hear. This concert was awesome. Every band, every note, every word was worth the wait for months. BAYSIDE YOURE AMAZING. Don't stop making music, ever.
