About

For the past 25 years, Queens-based Bayside has represented a lifestyle, a counterculture, and a deeply-held commitment to integrity and earnestness. At their core, Bayside is a band that has constantly proven that music is not about gimmicks and ephemeral trends, but a timeless reflection of our life and our times. It is through this authentic expression and creative spirit that the band has amassed a cult-following that lives and breathes everything the band creates.

It's a spirit that permeates an impressive and storied discography, including Sirens and Condolences (2004), Bayside (2005), The Walking Wounded (2007) and Shudder (2008). Covering the "Victory Records Years," Bayside grew their reputation as road warriors with their impressive amount of touring. From basements to clubs to Warped Tour, the band led melodious sing-alongs everywhere they went, with fans flocking to Anthony Raneri's personal, yet universal lyrics and story-telling. Fan favorites like "Devotion and Desire" and "Duality" continue to be staples in the bands' live show.

While the band held strong to their punk roots, what set them apart from their peers was their musicianship. Diverse in thought and background, but united in a shared desire for authentic expression and immense musical talent, Bayside continues to push the boundaries of what a Bayside song could be. In the second half of their legendary career, covering the "Wind-Up and Hopeless Records Years," Bayside embraced the heavier and grittier side of themselves, while keeping the anthemic choruses of the earlier years. With Killing Time (2011), Cult (2014), Vacancy (2016), Interrobang (2019), and There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive (2024), the band focused on creating songs that are relevant to people who want substance, rather than being relegated to one genre. In 2023, the band even collaborated with Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills on their rock anthem, "How To Ruin Everything (Patience)" - their first song charting at Sirius XM Octane.

Having toured the world multiple times over, sold thousands of albums, and amassed millions of streams, Bayside has achieved a lot in their storied career. And while many bands would coast on their past success, Bayside has always rejected that premise and continues to prove time and again that the best is yet to come.

  • 2 night shows are a MUST now!

by Mmmegan on 6/30/25House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of the best shows I’ve been to, ever. For a band that’s been together this long, anything less than a two night show should be illegal. The House of Blues in Anaheim is a great venue. It has plenty of pit space to move around in and several well placed bars so the lines aren’t too terrible, or you’re not missing the show waiting for drinks. I love Bayside and I love Anaheim! Bayside, I’ll be seeing you in New York in September! ❤️❤️

  • AMAZING!!! Bayside was incredible!!!!!

by Justin Foster on 6/23/25House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Went on night two to hear the newer songs and they blew me away. It was my third time seeing them and they never disappoint. They sound just like the albums and you can tell they genuinely love what they do and care for their fans. They seem to be having so much fun up there and in return the audience gets an unforgettable experience. The setlist was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better evening.

  • Bayside Errors night 1 amazing

Very good show as usual and wish I had bought both days. The Smoking Popes were great too. Bayside never lets me down.

  • Bayside.

by Goose on 6/9/25Summit - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Greatest band ever! Been going to shows for 20+ years.

  • If I ever rate Bayside less than a 10/10 it’s a cry for help

by Marianne on 4/9/25House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Bayside played two phenomenal shows, which is absolutely no surprise. They have always been and will always be my favorite band. Do not hesitate to see them any chance you get. 100/10.

  • Phenomenal

by AaronEspo on 4/9/25House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I can never say enough good things about Bayside. Amazing live band that is so connected with the audience and their fans. Every note reverberates along with every perfect lyrics being screamed from the crowd back the band. Perfect way to celebrate 25 years of Bayside at the House of Blues in Chicago. I have to also say the venue makes for a perfect night as well. The staff all are amazing. Accommodating, understanding, and fantastic to interact with. Water along the barricade, letting you wait inside when it's freezing out, they do their best and shows. Amazing 2 nights in Chicago with Bayside!

  • Bayside never disappoints!

by Dddesiree on 4/8/25House of Blues Cleveland - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen Bayside live probably 40 times over the course of their 25 years of making music. They still show amazing passion and energy when they are on the stage. The atmosphere in the crowd is unlike anything I have ever experienced, you feel like you are with 2000 of your best friends, singing along and interacting with the band. With each passing year, their music gets better and better, and their stage presence remains strong. They are hands down one of my favorite bands to see live.

  • So good

Absolutely awesome show! Sound was great !! Venue has some strange rules!

  • Bayside was great, venue could be better

by LDS on 4/7/25House of Blues Cleveland - ClevelandRating: 3 out of 5

Bayside was amazing as always. That said, unless you're in the pit or up on the balcony, the sound quality was pretty rough. It sounded muffled. The only time I could hear it clearly was in the bathroom.

  • Straight Bangers!

    by Krreid04 on 8/6/24The Ritz - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

The whole lineup was fire for this show! I wish we'd gotten in earlier to see Winona Fighter's full set, but I can see that band blowing up and playing bigger shows soon! Armor for Sleep, Finch, and Bayside also killed it with each of them appealing to my little black emo soul <3. Much like the 20 Years of Tears tour, please keep these kinds of lineups coming (we miss warped tour!!!!!)

  • Amazing!

by Amanda on 5/7/24Bogart's - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

After about 15 years of listening to Bayside I finally got to see them live. It was amazing and I plan to see them the next time they are near me!

  • Flawless transitions, nonstop energy

by Ajr on 5/7/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Armor for sleep opened..sweet teasing toned vocals..movable energy. Then came Finch wit some ferocity, we opened the pit for the rest of the show by their mid set. That there really found me a place for the whole night..i am not very familiar with bayside and i love singing along so i had envisioned myself jus standing there rockin out but no words..hated the thought..i freakin moshed thru nearly every awesome Bayside song except the slow stuff, we gave the pit to some couples. They too had high energy and they dumped song after song..lookin at everyone the split sec a song ended n they were ALLLL ready to keep moshin cuz the next song already started. To say 1 of my fav shows ever was 1 i didn't know the bands too well is highly impressive.

  • Excellent Show!

    by Adam W on 5/5/24Bogart's - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

What a great show! Bayside had everyone singing along to every song. Finch is one of my favorite bands of all time, so to finally see them live was the highlight of the evening for me!

  • Bayside, Finch, Armor for Sleep, and Winona Fighter

by Nick on 5/3/24Bogart's - CincinnatiRating: 2 out of 5

I arrived in Clifton and parked in the lot next to Hangover Easy, I was charged $22.49 to park because it was considered event parking. This isn't a stadium show, it's a club show, that's absolutely ridiculous. The security/bartenders were friendly and professional but 2 beers at $26 is a bit much. For the last several years I've noticed that the sound quality at Bogarts has been much worse than in the past. The sound for the first band Winona Figher was atrocious, it improved a bit for Armor for Sleep but the vocals were distorted and hard to hear. It seemed to improve once Finch played but should be consistent for the entire show. The bands were all great but as someone who has been coming to Bogarts for over 20 years, the parking and drink prices are making me rethink attending as many shows as I normally do.

  • I’ve been seeing Bayside since 2007.

by Clay on 5/3/24Bogart's - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent band who kills it every time they perform live.

  • Bayside is always amazing…I just wish…

by Fallon on 5/2/24House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I just wish any band that I love would never play at house of blues Chicago. It’s the worst venue and the most difficult to see if you are not on that center floor. If you’re lucky you might be able to view the band around a giant pillar. Bayside absolutely killed it as always. #baysideisacult

  • Full circle moment

by Merissa on 5/2/24House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The first time I ever saw Bayside was at the HOB Chicago almost 20 years ago. On 4/29, I got to share that experience with my 17 year old. The whole show was phenomenal. And the staff/food at the venue was fantastic! I cannot express my gratitude to everyone involved for helping to make it such a special night. My son had a major, unexpected surgery about two weeks ago and fought like hell to get well enough to attend. He was released from the hospital with just enough time for us to make it to the show.

  • FINCH!

by Junior S on 5/2/24House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I cannot explain well in words how amazing this venue and event was! I was there so see Finch. Both 1sst and 2nd band openers were amazing, but Finch knocked it out of the park! It like they never stopped playing. I would definitely come back to the house of blues for another band of my liking. Loved their drink selection as well as how relaxed the venue was, and the great view you can get from anywhere. Proximity to performing artist is surprisingly close.

  • Amazing!

by Ben on 4/30/24Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Bands were amazing! Love bayside, cheap merch, super sick hoodie for like 60 bucks! Venue was charging too much for drinks and stuff but thats not baysides fault. Greatest time I've had in a long time!
