We have gone to BCS for past 4 years. This year was lots of fun, just like it has been in the past. Great venue with it being inside this year. However, always look forward to the pre-shows, and there was no one outside this year in Champion Square listening to the bands. I heard many people say they knew nothing about there being outside pre-shows, which was unfortunate for the performers playing to an empty area. The performers on both Saturday and Sunday night were great. I'm a new Chris Lane fan because he was fun. Brett Eldridge was great. Surprise break out was Dan & Shay. Shay is phenomenal. Brooks and Dunn and Rascal Flatts were fantastic - loved them. Miranda was rather boring. Her smile did not seem genuine. Blake sounded phenomenal, but his show was exactly what it was at BCS two years ago - the way he played the crowd did not change. I was kind of disappointed in that. I like to think of him as genuine, and I did the first time he bantered with us in the rain at LSU, but then it was the same here, so that tells me he didn't put a lot of thought into changing it up for those who come out to see him again. He even did the exact same encore - Footloose. Overall it was a lot of fun, however, it was quite an expensive weekend between tickets, hotel, food, and drinks. May have to hold off going for a few years.
