  • Personal and Intense

by Stinky on 2/22/20Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

She put on a stripped-down, two person performance of a dozen or so songs. 2 keyboards, a guitar, and a ring of lanterns. And that Voice! She could sit on a stool alone and bring down the house with her vast range, power and finesse. Every note comes from deep within. A genuine artist. Truly an experience to behold.

  • Bat for Lashes did a beautiful performance!

by Anonymous on 4/25/16The Cathedral Sanctuary at Immanuel Presbyterian - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

I really enjoyed Bat for Lashes performance, her voice is amazing and the having it at The Immanuel Presbyterian added more ambiance and intimate!

  • What voice! Never heard anything like it

The venue is super. Natasha Khan (aka Bat for Lashes) was unbelievable. She was in a great mood, sang her heart out and was just delightful all around.

  • Bat for Lashes captivates NYC

by QROck on 9/9/13Webster Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Ethereal and magical, personal and moving. This is what Bat for Lashes brings to the live show. Natasha has a voice that is so crisp and light yet resonates and fills the room so completely. Pitch perfect and emotional delivery. You can feel the words roll over you along with the rhythms and melodies. Natasha is also very personable and humble and connects to her audience bringing us all into the show. I want to see them again and again!

  • Ohh Natasha...

    by Radio122 on 9/7/13Webster Hall - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

Saw BfL at Webster Hall on 8/30. Was looking forward to the show based on solid last 2 studio albums. From the opening song "Lilies" onward, it was fairly obvious Natasha Khan was lip-synching. It even appeared at times her band was faking...although on certain songs the percussion was definitely real. During the opener Natasha took to an electric drum that bore no relation to the music coming out of the amps. For the most part, her performance mirrored a little kid pretending to be a rock star. Why a group of people would haul around the country in a tour bus, setting up and tearing down lighting and sound equipment in city after city only to pretend to perform is beyond me.

  • A must see performer!

by musicmermaid on 9/2/13Webster Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

She was amazing. She didn't play for very long, maybe an hour and a half, but she was mesmerizing the whole time. Her music really came alive and the feeling was electric the entire time. I can't wait to see her again. My husband who had never heard any of her music thoroughly enjoyed it as well.

  • Bat for lashes so so good!!!

Absolutely great performance! She was so real and powerful on the stage. One of my favorite shows ever.

  • Great but too short.

by mucha on 8/31/13Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 3 out of 5

Once again I have to give an excellent show an average rating because the concert was a mere hour long. I have seen bands that have only 1 CD out that play longer. She has 3 and so has plenty of material for at least an hour and a half. I blame these new short shows on the growing number of festivals where acts generally only play less than an hour unless they are headliners. Otherwise, Bat For Lashes put on a fun, energetic, and at times dramatic show. Natasha sounded great even hitting the high notes in, Marilyn. She has such positive energy. Speaking of, the somewhat small crowd was very loud and enthusiastic. Lots of singing and dancing fun.

  • Magical!

    by Kala87 on 8/29/13Fonda Theatre - L.A.Rating: 5 out of 5

this was general admission, therefore I worked it out to make it to the front... Natasha and the gang were amazing! She is so darn talented and gorgeous! It was a memorable show... wished it wouldn't end. Will definitely go see her again and again... that good!

One of the best shows ever, and I have seen a lot of shows! The Newport Music Hall was a great place to see this. Bat for Lashes sounded incredible, Natasha was fantastic and songs were played from every record at an impressive level of precision. The band is super and this is one of those rare shows that kept me riveted the whole time!
