Over the course of 35 years, the beloved quartet has sold over 15 million records worldwide and built up an arsenal of hits such as "If I Had $1,000,000," "One Week," "Pinch Me," and "The Big Bang Theory Theme." Widely acknowledged as one of the best live acts on the planet, BNL has hosted a cruise, had their own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, and participated in the first-ever “space-to-earth musical collaboration” with astronaut  Chris  Hadfield. To date, BNL has amassed eight JUNO  Awards, garnered two GRAMMY nominations and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. BNL’s 18th studio album, In Flight, was released in 2023 and features 14 brand new studio recordings. It’s available everywhere you stream music.

  • BareNaked in Nashville

by Lopn on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

BNL played the Ryman Auditorium last night in Nashville TN and it was fabulous. First, the Ryman is a fabulous venue... so that was a great start... This was a much needed diversion from the devastating floods of last week. BNL was not only completely on form musically and comically, but they were also sympathetic to what our city has just gone through and is contributing a portion of their proceeds to the flood relief! I must admit I was a bit nervous to see them for the first time without Stephen Page and though he was DEFINITELY missed and it was different without him, I was not disappointed! They are such genuinely talented guys. I also liked that all members of the band were up front and featured throughout the show. That was a really nice addition. All in all... a fabulous show that I highly recommend.

  • great show

We enjoyed BNL cocert at the Ryman. Excellent entertainment.

  • BNL ROCKS!

by FischersDad on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

One of the best BNL shows we've ever seen. The Ryman auditorium is a beautiful venue. We loved the smaller setting. The only missing element was Steven Page. Come back Steve... we all miss you!!!

  • Almost great

    by Lizrd2 on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Terrific show! I wasn't thrilled with BNL's choice of replacement for the lead singer. The new guy was a couple steps below the caliber of the rest of the band: average vocals, sucky instrumentals. The show sagged in the middle with some schmaltzy new numbers that sounded out of character with the band's traditional offerings. A couple of bluegrass numbers were well done and went over big with the crowd. They rocked on their famous tunes, and the overall show was well worth the price.

Awesome show! The band was great and the venue was intimate and exciting!

  • BNL Rocked!

that show freaking rocked & in they Ryman, i mean seriously...could it get any better?!

  • BNL Rocked without Steven Page!

by SteveJones on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Of course there is discussion of "how can BNL go on without Steven Page". They Did. They rocked. They played all the anthems, had a guy from the Station Inn band play guitar with them for a song (dave from cadillac sky), they do play a lot of stuff off of their new album "All In Good Time" so make sure you buy it ahead of time so you will recognize all the songs. The rep between them and the crowd was spot on, Joking continuously with the crowd as you would expect. Stage was set with these cool light boards too. Although Steven Pages presence was missed, Kevin Hearn and Tyler and Jim all stepped up musically AND as Jokesters to compliment Ed well. I saw many BNL shows in the early '90's. They were magical. Then when Stunt got so big I saw them move to big Outdoor arenas and Stadium shows. Good to see them back at what they do best. Relatively small Venues and closeness with their fans. THANKS GUYS! You Rocked!

  • AMAZING!!! Great Great Show...

by Aligrew on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I saw BNL perform several years ago and had high hopes for another great performance...I wasn't disappointed. They played a great combination of old and new music and were very entertaining and engaging. Can't wait until the come back again. Ingrid Michelson was an awesome opening act as well...I know some people came late, and they really missed a spectacular performer. I was also touched theat BNL donated a portion of their proceeds to flood relief...really goes to show these are stand-up guys as well as fantastic musicians! Only thing I would change...tickets clearly stated no cameras, audio or video, but pictures were being taken like crazy without anyone telling them to stop. Wish I had broken the rules to have a couple pics from such an amazing night. I think the Ryman needs to be more clear on their camera policy..either it's ok for everybody or nobody...

  • BNL rocked the Ryman!

by Mhudson on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Still amazing even without Steven Page. BNL put on a great show, and Ingrid MIchaelson was very great too. Both acts were hillarious. It was like being at a comedy club and a concert at the same time.

  • A lot of Energy

    by Rabbit11 on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

BNL at the Ryman was like having them perform in your living room. you are right there. You do not know what will happen next. Surprises all the time.

  • BNL and Ingrid Michaelson were awesome!

by JulieSC on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I knew opening act Ingrid Michaelson would be good, but she way surpassed my high expectations. She sounds great live and was very funny and entertaining. A perfect opener for BNL. I just wish she had performed longer. Plus, she signed CDs and took pictures after her performance! I already had extremely high expectations for BNL as this was my 4th time seeing them live and they get better every time. Surprisingly, I didn't miss former lead singer Brian, although the group did not do any of the ballads that Brian wails on. Twenty years later and BNL still rocks my socks off.

  • Should have seen them long ago...

by wadosteffy on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I have always 'liked 'BNL and their quirky writing style, but now I LOVE BNK and their fabulous antics. Not onl did they play all the best songs, they threw in surprises like Fox and the hound with a local guitarist, a little dancing 'backstreet boys' style.

  • BNL Rocked the Ryman

by JPBG on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Though Steven was missed, Ed and the guys did a great job. It was very cool that Erin came on to sing the duet. The sing alongs were a blast. The Ryman is a must see venue.

  • BNL are definitely Entertaining

by countrykitty on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

This was the first time seeing BNL since the loss of Steven Page, and his unique and haunting vocals were surely missed. This is why I only gave them 4 stars instead of 5. But, true to form, BNL always puts on a great show. Not only is the music great, but they are real comedians and their quirky humor and choreography had everyone on their feet. I love concerts at the Ryman. It is a much more intimate setting and the stage is pretty much visible from every seat. Cushions are recommended since the 100+ year old church pews are pretty hard.

  • Great Show

    by SuperDave1955 on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I think BNL was great interacting with the crowd..

  • Barenaked Ladies were Awesome!

  • what a show!

by bnlrocks on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

very entertaining show. was wondering if the absence of Steven Page would have an effect on the live show, but the guys didn't skip a beat :) Oh, and the balcony at the Ryman, how special.

  • Barenaked Ladies put on a great show!

  • BNL @ The Ryman Amazing!

by LauraHolbert on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I love going to the Ryman! BNL are on my all time favorite list of shows I've seen @ the Ryman. I love all the old songs and the new ones. The stage looked amazing!!!!!! Ed did a great job as always. For me this was the first time I saw them with out Steve and didn't know if I would like it as much, but the show went over with a Bang!! (ha ha) I would love to see them again @ The Ryman. I also think it was very nice of them to give some of the proceeds from the show to the flood victims.

  • by MuadDib on 5/11/10Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The show was awesome and the guys were VERY personable and funny. We had a great time!
