    Bad Seats, Not Advertised Properly

    by J A on 11/12/23Lucas Oil Stadium - Indianapolis

We bought tickets for the Bands of America finals event. The tickets were 150 a piece for the VIP section. When we arrived to our seats, we found that we had paid $150 per seat for a folding chair. What is VIP about that. In our section, there were 4 rows of these folding chairs and the rest of the area were really nice padded seats with cup holders. The seats were not advertised in the VIP section as folding chairs. If they would have, I can guarantee I would have picked other seats. Be careful what you buy from ticketmaster.

Where the best come to play...their heards out!

by Mike B on 11/12/23Lucas Oil Stadium - Indianapolis

As always, BOA Grand Nationals didn't disappoint. The effort and energy these kids put forth, leaving it all on the field, is nothing short of astounding.

    Expensive

by Jb on 11/8/23Alamodome - San Antonio

The show itself was great. The prices for concessions were very expensive. Parking was expensive. Seating was limited on Saturday. The bands not performing on Saturday could have sat on the opposite side of the stadium.

Event was great but poor choice of ticket venue

by Richard on 11/7/23Alamodome - San Antonio

Ticketmaster forces people to have facial recognition turned on in order to drop tickets into the Apple Wallet. Yet, this is the most insecure method of keeping your wallet secure. Security requires a conscious form of verification. Fingerprints and facial recognition do not offer that assurance. Very disappointed.

Suite Night at BOA Super Regionals

by Ron VHS on 11/6/23Alamodome - San Antonio

Great night for the band and our parent group loves the view and amenities from the Suites! Great for conversation and fun, snacks and drinks. The service team is exceptional and friendly! Thanks Alamodome!

Great event but price was ridiculous

by Band mom on 11/6/23Alamodome - San Antonio

HOW does $88 for 3 tickets (which is already insanely high) turn into $137 when I go checkout?! My only complaint is about you, Ticketmaster. You are CROOKS and I know you aren’t going to do anything with this review. Thanks for asking.

BOA Great, Lucas Oil Staff Not So Much

by BBurgParent on 11/2/23Lucas Oil Stadium - Indianapolis

The BOA event was great, the security guard and other employee standing in the section 338 at Lucas Oil were horrible. They talked during the entire show and would get louder when the band performed. One was cursing about his supervisor and when confronted to quiet down, would threaten to throw people out. Wished we would have just gotten general admission tickets rather than doing reserved and would have had a better seats and view for better price.

    Fantastic Event

by Psalm34 on 11/1/23Lucas Oil Stadium - Indianapolis

Bands of America Competition was Fantastic on Every Level! Lucas Oil Stadium was Outstanding, the Perfect Venue for this Competition. The Staff was Great, The Schools that Participated were Incredible as were the Parents and Students who came to support and Cheer on their schools....One of a Kind Competition! Loved it!

    Pricing really

by Elemento on 10/31/23Camping World Stadium - Orlando

For the level of event pricing was way to high. I was a parent who attended preliminaries but unable to see final as cost far exceeded budget for this. Reconsider pricing for next time. You should have parent pricing.

Everything was good except the phone charging points

by Kanaka on 10/28/23Lucas Oil Stadium - Indianapolis

We enjoyed the facilities, food and band performances. The audio effect visuals were very good and amazing. But the phone charging points weren't working. We kept the mobile in lockers and saw it was showing as charging. Came back after an hour and noticed it stayed the same. Lot of people are traveling from far distance and everyone would definitely need it to get worked. Hope someone fixes it.

    Great venue/performances

by RookieSpectator on 10/26/23Lucas Oil Stadium - Indianapolis

Overall, the event was well run and the location was adequate but not very handicap accessible. There was too much walking for those who aren't in wheelchairs but who have achey joints. For the young and able-bodied, Lucas Oil Stadium is a beautiful stadium. It would be nice to have one or two of the food vendors open early for the morning crowd who have to leave their hotels before the continental breakfast bar is open. The bands were fun to watch- so many creative shows! I'd rather see something like this as a showcase rather than a competitive activity. I saw lots of stressed out performers as I wandered through the crowd. I think this is another example of an organization where the adults have taken over and removed the fun factor for the kids.

Not enough open concessions at BOA Orlando

by BoA Bandparent on 10/24/23Camping World Stadium - Orlando

This venue only had one concession stand open in the morning at this event until they opened a second one at around 4 pm! The line was an hour wait. And, they were out of several sodas when they finally opened thebsecond one. Only had Pepsi and water and they were struggling to keep it restocked. No water fountains upstairs and no open concessions upstairs, where everyone goes to cool off from the heat. The only parking is $10 in a grass unlined lot. They make everyone leave at the dinner break and make you pay $10 again to park when you return. They need a planning restructure for this BOA event.

Bands were great. Stadium was a disorganized mess.

by momof3kids on 10/24/23Camping World Stadium - Orlando

Bands were great. Camping World Stadium was a disorganized mess. There was no guidance, just staff yelling at people. Lines far too long to get food during snacks and since you can’t leave and come back this was very disappointing. No accessible parking according to the person taking money to park. They ran out of drinks and snacks with prelims. Bands were amazing.

    Outstanding!

by Jeff on 10/24/23Lucas Oil Stadium - Indianapolis

I’ve been to a lot of local band competitions, but this one takes the cake. Unbelievable talent, well organized, perfect venue. Well worth the money and time.

    Positively awesome

by Candace on 10/24/23Lucas Oil Stadium - Indianapolis

I am so impressed with the students in the bands. It is obvious how hard they work and how effective the band leaders/staff are at putting together a positive show. The venue was perfect.

    A racket...

by Dr.T on 10/24/23Camping World Stadium - Orlando

I was very disappointed with the event. The cost to attend for a ten minute performance was exhorbitant! The support at the event was non-existent. Someone is making a tremendous amount of money. Also, most of the "bands"were nothing more than techno performances with over use of digitizers, pre-recorded soundtracks, etc. that have nothing to do with marching bands.

    Ticket proce

by Jeb on 10/24/23Camping World Stadium - Orlando

Ticket price was too high for this event. The band member did not get to see the UCF band perform.

    BOA at Lucas Oil Stadium

by BandMom on 10/24/23Lucas Oil Stadium - Indianapolis

Had a great time watching my son's marching band and other bands from around the country perform their shows. Comfortable venue that easily accommodated the crowd. Looking forward to next year's competition.
