About

BAND-MAID on Tour

Punk rock and heavy metal are often described as loud, fast-paced and aggressive in composition, but also made famous for a style that challenges the establishment and preconceived notion of what music can be. What could be more punk rock and heavy metal in the 21st century than BAND-MAID, an all-female Japanese rock group who cos-play as French maids and shred just as hard as metal legends like Metallica, Slayer or Mastodon? Find out for yourself when they visit your city for the BAND-MAID US TOUR 2022. The group will hit 14 cities over four weeks, including San Diego, Seattle, Dallas, Houston and more. Audience members rave about BAND-MAID's live performances, calling their high-octane music "incredible," and "epic." The rock group is known best for their 2018 album World Domination, which features popular singles like "Domination" and "Dice." The album reached No. 9 on the Japanese Oricon Albums chart. In 202, the group released the three-track EP Sense, which quickly garnered more than 3 million streams on Spotify. Catch BAND-MAID when on tour when they come to a city near you.

BAND-MAID Live in Concert

Self-described (and independently confirmed) as an "impossibly hard rocking, five-piece, all-female Japanese rock band," BAND-MAID formed in 2013 and has been rocking the stage and studio ever since. The group -- consisting of Miku (guitar and vocals), Saiki (lead vocals), Kanami (guitar), Akane (drums) and Misa (bass) -- thematically built their image on dressing in maid/anime costumes and calling their fans "masters" and "princesses." While their image combined with their fiery and aggressive sound create a contrasting style, they've compiled a massive following, both domestic and international. In 2015, they caught the attention of fans in Japan with their LP New Beginning, which charted at No. 64 on the Japanese Oricon Albums chart. They followed that up with 2016's Brand New Maid (which reached No. 19 on the charts) and an international tour in 2016. Other popular album releases include 2017's Just Bring It and World Domination the following year.

    Awesome show by the Maids!

by Mark B. on 9/4/23Ace of Spades - Sacramento

The Maids never fail to deliver! Everyone should see them at least once, but after you've seen them, you won't want it to be just once! Easily my favorite band!

    Hardest working band now touring

by Old Skool Rocker on 8/30/23

I am slightly biased. I have been listening to rock for longer that I care to admit. All of the greats: Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Rush, etc. There has never been a band that has caught my attention like these very talented ladies. The first time I heard them they sounded familiar yet fresh at the same time. I can say from experience that they are one of the few bands that sound better live than their albums, which are great. You really have to see them live at least once. If you enjoy rock or good guitar music you will nor regret it.

    Great Experience

    by Tree Fiddy on 8/28/23

A Band-Maid show is high energy, pure fun. They have an insanely deep catalog of great songs, so there are usually surprises. Band-Maid are talent and hard work wrapped in joy. The world needs to hear this band. I've seen them live 9 times now. That should give you an idea of what I think.

    Even Better Live

    by CLANG-MAID on 8/23/23

No quality is lost when you see them live, they sound better live than on CD. This band really loves the fans, they take the time to interact with the fans, they talk, make eye contact, wave and give the fans a thumbs up. Kanami (lead guitar) looked at me twice and smiled both times and i smiled back. I was about 8-10ft away from her. This is the VIP experience i payed for.

Great band, but some pre-concert line frustrations

    by KS on 8/21/23

Band-Maid is such a great band, it is always a real treat to get to see them live. This review will specifically cover the Anaheim House of Blues that I just went to last week, as well as the Belasco show they did in October 2022. For both of those shows, there was a decent amount of confusion regarding the various ticket types and premium upgrades available. Between LiveNation and venue premium upgrades and the band's VIP ticket options (simply VIP for the Belasco show; regular VIP and "Ultimate"VIP for the House of Blues show), I think there are too many ticket types to keep track of without clear and frequent communication in the lead up to the concert and on the day of the show when fans start to line up. For the House of Blues show in particular, we ended up needing to form four or five different lines for all the different levels of entry priority, but they weren't clearly delineated in advance and there weren't many staff members on hand to help direct people into the correct line. As far as I can tell, we were all able to get reasonably sorted out and into the venue in the end, but I think there is still room for improvement. While this review mostly focused on negatives around the queuing experience and proliferation of ticket add-ons and upsells, I still want to emphasize that my experience was on the whole quite positive. The band performed great at both shows and I had a wonderful time at each one. I'm already looking forward to whenever I'll get to see them perform next!

    BAND MAID

    by Ted Maciel on 8/21/23

Other than the scintillating Sacramento heat the night was absolutely perfect! I anticipated a great show, and I got that and more! The ladies completely killed it! Great crowd and wonderful employees made the evening that much more special! ❤️🎼🤘🏽😎

I've seen them three times now and they keep getting better and better. If they ever do a show near you, you have to jump on that chance. You won't regret!!

    Too many people

    by Rocker on 8/20/23

House of Blues Anaheim oversold this event which left concert goers get through security and in through the front door but not inside the concert venue area. Too many people. About 100 less then everyone would have been “inside” to enjoy the show. Sound quality was good though.
