BAND-MAID on Tour

Punk rock and heavy metal are often described as loud, fast-paced and aggressive in composition, but also made famous for a style that challenges the establishment and preconceived notion of what music can be. What could be more punk rock and heavy metal in the 21st century than BAND-MAID, an all-female Japanese rock group who cos-play as French maids and shred just as hard as metal legends like Metallica, Slayer or Mastodon? Find out for yourself when they visit your city for the BAND-MAID US TOUR 2022. The group will hit 14 cities over four weeks, including San Diego, Seattle, Dallas, Houston and more. Audience members rave about BAND-MAID's live performances, calling their high-octane music "incredible," and "epic." The rock group is known best for their 2018 album World Domination, which features popular singles like "Domination" and "Dice." The album reached No. 9 on the Japanese Oricon Albums chart. In 202, the group released the three-track EP Sense, which quickly garnered more than 3 million streams on Spotify. Catch BAND-MAID when on tour when they come to a city near you.

BAND-MAID Live in Concert

Self-described (and independently confirmed) as an "impossibly hard rocking, five-piece, all-female Japanese rock band," BAND-MAID formed in 2013 and has been rocking the stage and studio ever since. The group -- consisting of Miku (guitar and vocals), Saiki (lead vocals), Kanami (guitar), Akane (drums) and Misa (bass) -- thematically built their image on dressing in maid/anime costumes and calling their fans "masters" and "princesses." While their image combined with their fiery and aggressive sound create a contrasting style, they've compiled a massive following, both domestic and international. In 2015, they caught the attention of fans in Japan with their LP New Beginning, which charted at No. 64 on the Japanese Oricon Albums chart. They followed that up with 2016's Brand New Maid (which reached No. 19 on the charts) and an international tour in 2016. Other popular album releases include 2017's Just Bring It and World Domination the following year.

One of the best live bands I have ever seen

    by Ian S. on 8/19/23

I first became aware of Band-Maid as the opening act for Yoshiki's Last Rockstars, a supergroup consisting of established J-Rock stars, but these ladies are easily on a level with their longer-tenured peers. The only flaw in this 10th anniversary tour might be that the mid-set crowd interaction was rather awkward, as the maids are still learning English. But I was one among what seemed like an army of American Maidiacs, from a diverse range of ages and backgrounds. Saiki is a soaring vocalist, Akane a near-manic drummer, Miku the passionate heart of the band, but Misa and Kanami's dueling solo trade-offs steal the show. The band's goal of world domination seems well within reach, and I doubt there will be too many more opportunities to see them in such an intimate venue. I won't be missing their next US tour.

    AMAZING

The show in general was amazing. I was closer than I thought I would be, the band sounded great and the setlist was in my opinion the best one of the tour.

    Near to perfect

    by KJ on 8/18/23

Band maid, a well worth show to be attended live. Ticketmaster provided an experience of a lifetime. I purchased general admission tickets with the fast pass admission. Given the line for VIP and ultimate VIP my group and I were about 3 to 4 rows back from the front which was about perfect to get a full view of the stage. Solos played by Misa and Kanami could be seen. Also the mash pit was around the same distance. Overall the cost of tickets and experience was perfect

    Band-Maid

    by Vinylator on 8/18/23

Band-Maid gave a great performance. All the members did an excellent job. I absolutely love this band. The only criticism I have is for the venue. It was a bit chaotic lining up, but the members of the band made up for an awesome experience.

Title says it all. These ladies put on a fantastic show and have fun doing it. That fun is infectious and everyone has a blast. Also they play the best music around, so all in all, go see Band Maid if you get a chance. Then see them again!

Band Maid 10th Anniversary Live in US

    by Alx I.A on 8/18/23

We were fortunate that we were able to watch Band Maid live here in US. Their skills and songs were awesome (epic!). Good how LiveNation/Ticketmaster able to handle it well. And luckily the show was in House of Blues in Anaheim so many can reach the venue easier.

    What a great show!

    by PaulH on 8/18/23

Band Maid put on another fantastic show. They don't disappoint! Hopefully the venue will be ready for the crowd earlier next time. Seems they are never ready early enough getting setup with their crowd control.

    Band Maid was amazing!

    by Mike on 8/18/23

The show was absolutely amazing! I've seen Band Maid before, last October at the House Of Blues in San Diego, so I knew what to expect and was not disappointed. The Anaheim venue is quite a bit larger and it was totally packed. We got seats on front of the balcony about 10 rows back from the stage. Perfect view and sound. Our server Collette was awesome and she did a fantastic job of taking care of us. The Anaheim HOB needs to update their seating chart, as it is currently listed as "GA"only. They do not list that there is the first floor mezzanine or the second floor seating and tables. It would be nice to be able to purchase these upgrades when purchasing the show tickets.

From the time Band Maid got on stage, it was a Magicaly Fun. The excitement, energy was the most incredible feeling I had at a concert in a long time. The Ladies gave their all and then some, can't wait til they come back to the LA area.

    Love these Girls

    by Music LVR on 8/18/23

Third time seeing them ! The Drummer and Bassist are Outstanding ! I truly believe if the band would allow some extended solos from the Drummer , Bassist ad Guitar players they would blow away the audience !

    Awesome show

    by Saldiven on 8/18/23

Band-Maid always gives a great show, but the 2023 shows have been on another level. After ten years together, the band's on-stage chemistry is very strong, leading to entertaining interactions both while playing and when interacting with the crowd between songs. Despite the technicality of the music, the quality of the playing/singing is very close to the studio quality, showing how much the band must practice and how seriously they take giving a good show.

first concert experience, it was awesome!

    by eddie on 8/18/23

Bandmaid is so awesome and entertaining live. Miku has a great personality interacting with the audience and the band as a whole really knows how to energize the event. Saiki can sing, obviously, but it is even more impressive live. Misa is my favorite member and although she is an introvert, she is an extrovert with her bass. Wonderful event, thanks for coming to Anaheim Band-Maid! The only complain i would have is that the even started like around 830PM. Ticket said it starts at 7PM (probably that is the time the gates open) but it felt like it took forever to let people in.

    Amazing show. Amazing band.

    by Eaglez1 on 8/18/23

This was my 3rd time seeing Band-Maid live since October 2022. Flew across country to Anaheim show. Money well spent. One of the best bands I've ever seen live and I've seen all the greats...I'm old lol. They need to be playing bigger and better venues.

    Solid rock show

    by Baliantaksu on 8/18/23

Great music, high energy. The crowd was really into the band, people were all having a great time. The songs are mostly in Japanese in case that matters to you. You can still have a great time.

    The Best Band Out There!

    by JDMadiac on 8/18/23

Band-Maid is my favorite band. This was my first time seeing an "okyu-ji"and it was everything that I had hoped for! They even performed my favorite song of their's Moratorium! The Maids were at the best Monday night, and the crowd of faithful Madiacs showed their full support!
