Awesome show!! Dancers were so good. Love the roomy seats and helpful, pleasant employees! Definitely will become an annual event for me❤️🎄
It was not that great. I noticed that were many mistakes by the performers.
My granddaughter and DIL and I always go to The Nutcracker and this year’s performance was exceptional. Our box seats near the stage enabled us to see the performers up close and personal. We loved everything about it, from the tiny mice to the exotic Arabian dancers. Perfecto! And we love the Sandler venue, intimate and grand.
The dancers, music and set were excellent. It was evident the hours of rehearsal and training that was undertaken by all who participated. I especially loved that Ukraine was featured, particularly considering their plight and brave resolve. I wholeheartedly agree, "Slava Ukraini"! Thank you, BVI, for making this choice! What a beautiful performance by ALL!
I was looking for some type of ballet for my daughter which is 8 to experience because she loves watching it on TV. I thought this would be the perfect time and I was 100% right. The center is amazing and the show itself kept everyone's attention from start to finish. Only downside is it started a new thing for the family haha
To start: I had an enjoyable evening at Sandler with family and friends. However, this performance lacked coordination between the dancers, lacked accuracy within the orchestra, and lacked communication between the two. The settings were nicely presented and the overall content made it a joyous experience, but this performance was priced as a serious, high quality event. It was greatly overpriced compared to the quality presented.
We ent in excited and ready for a professional show. Paying 70.00 a ticket, this cost my family of 7 almost 500. We ended up leaving at intermission because we felt like it was a high school show. Very disappointed
As children, attending the Boston Ballet performance of The Nutcracker was a family tradition. In comparison, this performance seemed amateurish. The sets were not as dramatic and, while I understood what the performers were trying to portray, my grandson was lost…..and I get why. I had to keep explaining that Clara and the Prince were visiting different countries and who the dancer’s characters were (I was actually a little unsure) because the portrayals were not obvious. Overall, my grandson enjoyed the performance. I found it only okay, nothing amazing or unforgettable about it.
