About

With over three decades on the scene, Bad Religion are iconic stalwarts of the Southern California punk movement. Comprised of equal parts musicianship, rancor and intelligence, the band is known for their onslaught of well-crafted, finely executed songs of social commentary and sardonic wit. Tickets to their live concerts bear the holder witness to relentless, rapid-fire sets that span the breadth of their career, including entertaining diatribes of insight from frontman Greg Graffin. Their 2013 European tour featured over 40 concert dates across 15 countries, treating fans to extended sets of their decade-spanning catalog. Following the release of 2013's True North, which garnered positive reviews and peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 200, the band kept fans guessing with the release of Christmas Songs, an album of holiday covers done in the band's signature spitfire style.

Since their inception in the early '80s, Bad Religion has remained vital to the identity of punk and hardcore. Their gold-certified 1994 album Stranger Than Fiction is a classic of the genre, gaining the band widespread attention and their first bana fide hit with the prescient "21st Century (Digital Boy)." In 2002 the band released The Process of Belief, garnering another round of praise from critics for hit single "Sorrow." With a whopping 17 studio albums and two live albums, Bad Religion has achieved commercial success without compromising their upstart ideals, and a legion of dedicated fans looks forward to their 2014 tour dates.

Awesome, seeing Brett play was cool too. Great set list spanning throughout the years and new versions of acoustic songs along with a new song "resist-ance".

by Breannemarie on 4/11/10House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

This was only me second time seeing Bad Religion and I think they were even better than the first time. They sounded awesome, had so much energy and pretty funny too. I can't wait to see them again.

  • Old Man Markley ROCKS!!!! Best performance!

by Surprisebarb on 4/10/10House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Old Man Markley are beyond the best performers, have the best vibe and the rock the stage. They all perform together so well. Everyone should check them out, super unique, like nothing I’ve ever seen! I’ll go see them whenever they perform…Bad Religion still rocks out for sure, my friend is in love with the bassist!!! Chuck Regan has a cool voice and I really enjoyed his lyrics. I had a really good time. The House of Blues is such a good venue you’re so close their sweat could drip on you…

  • Bad Religion doesn't disappoint

by NumberOneBRFan on 4/9/10House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 4 out of 5

Great show as always. BR played a lot of their classics as well as newer ones. The staff at HOB were great.

  • AWESOME

by TheHousewife on 4/9/10House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

It seems as if as these guys get older the show just gets better. I could just be biased because this if my favorite band and has been for quite some time. Loved the show. How could you not enjoy a show where a dude in a wheelchair is moshing? I mean, that is punk rock. ;)

  • Effin' FANTASTIC SHOW

by SS180Girl on 4/8/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

What an incredible show, hands down - a great line-up as well what with the Vandals!! It was so great to hear/see these bands on stage again, it had been YEARS... I have many great memories of so many of their shows so long ago, of course jumped at the chance to see them again. Bad Religion, damn - personally I think they sound even better than before - they had so much energy, so much OI and the crowd responded right in kind - it was AWESOME to be a part of such great energy and GREAT music again.

  • Bad Religion as always was awesome!

by MLee4 on 4/5/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Bad Religion played a really long set, played every great song and even played new songs from their new album coming out in Fall 2010. They were entertaining to watch and as always sounded great. I have seen them so many times and this show was extra special because it was the 30th anniversary show. Only thing that sucked was that the Merch Store was Cash Only so I wasn't able to buy as much as I wanted.

It was really nice to see these guys rock so well after all this time....really glad I was able to see them. Not so much into the story between sets but probably filling the time so I forgive them. :) The vocalist gave a strong performance while the band worked it. A good and crazy fun punk show.

  • Bad Religion on Easter Sunday!

  • Doesn't get better than this!

by laurenbear on 4/4/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Del Toro, Miss Derringer, Lightnin' Woodcock, and Bad Religion were unusual in combination but unforgettable in person. Every set had great stage presence and entertainment value. Bad Religion was by far one of the best bands I've seen in the past 10 years, and I have seen many shows. They played 33 songs and kept the crowd wrapped around the cords of their microphones the entire set. Amazing...

  • Bad Religion was Amazing!

by Mzdeseree on 4/4/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

They played 30 songs! They were very energetic and into the crowd. I was completely satisfied and want to see them again!!!

  • BR kicked butt!

by PunkRock on 4/4/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Show was awesome!!! Played some of their greatest hits... Infected Sorrow 21st Century Digital Boy F*** Armageddon This is Hell and much more!!! Was a bit crowded and the pit wasnt that big. Didnt like the fact that there were just standing around the pit when there was so much room off the dance floor.
